Electronic Arts has announced preliminary details for the 2008 edition of their FIFA Soccer franchise.
The cover will feature two-time FIFA World Player of the Year Ronaldinho, who will be paired up with a different player depending on which version you look at. The other players to appear include Sergio Ramos of Real Madrid; 2006 FIFA World Cup Golden Boot winner, Miroslav Klose of Werder Bremen, Germany; attacking midfielder and captain of Andreas Ivanschitz of Panathinaikos FC, Austria; Tranquillo Barnetta of Bayer Leverkusen, Switzerland; midfielder Florent Malouda of Olympique Lyonnais; and winger Frank Ribery of Olympique. These players will appear with Ronaldinho in their respective countries.
FIFA 08 will be available across most platforms, including the XBox 360, PS3, PS2, Wii, PSP, DS, PC, and even on mobile phones. Accessibility to a fare-thee-well is apparently the new motto at EA.
