Dyyor has presented us three simple weapons. A sword, a gauntlet (that thinks its a sword) and a shield. The first thing that knocked my socks off was the attention to detail on the shaders. The sword alone has five seperately rotating glyphs as well as the runes fading in and out on the blade itself. Likewise, the shield is composed of many rings rotating within rings within rings. The gauntlet is also shaped well and fits perfectly to hand of the player model. For the animations, dyyor has replaced the kata for the gauntlets with the spin/slash attack. Also take note, that the shield will not go flying off into the air if you attempt the same kata, only the blade. Do yourself a favor and make sure that you have dynamic glow (bloom) turned on when you use the shield, it adds a great deal of effect to it. Overall, I like this a lot. Simple design with intriguing detail. It's enough to look good without being (too) gaudy. Dyyor has promised to expand on this pack in the future and I eagerly await what he has to show us. My only suggestion would be colors; if I pick a purple blade, can I have a shiny purple shield?
