CompactDream reduces the amount of screen time your GUI frame will obstruct your view. A note, though. This is currently only for the Federation, although I can't imagine it'd be difficult to modify to use in ANY given GUI you'd like. FahreS has also included .BMP and .TGA examples of buildbuttons that could be integrated with this GUI, and suggests you try it yourself.
