Greetings, Stalker! Welcome to CoP Remix. This mod was developed on version 1.6.02. The goal of this mod is to further increase realism and balance in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat.
Version 1.0 includes the following changes. * First person sound effects (footsteps and gunshots) are now much louder. * Jump height increased slightly. * New starting equipment. You now start with a Berill-5M Armored Suit and the Steel Helmet, which has been renamed to the Sphere-08 Helmet. You also start with more ammunition. * Weapon stats have been made more realistic. All rifles now have the exact same fire rate and effective range as the real things. * Suit and helmet stats have been changed for more realism and balance. The SEVA suit now comes with a first generation night vision module. * 14 new suits have been added to the game! Unfortunately, due to the drastically changed inventory in Call of Pripyat, the suits do not have a unique icon in the inventory. Of course the skin is still what it should be for each and every suit. They are all upgradeable and they can all be bought/sold. * Your head is no longer visible in third person view with every suit. * The Exoskeleton is now compatible with other helmets. * Artifact prices and properties have been changed slightly. Health and endurance artifacts are no longer useless. The Heart of the Oasis and Compass artifacts have no negative properties, and the Compass has different properties. Several other artifacts have been changed. * Weapon names, several NPC names, and several outfit names have been changed. * New bullet caliber has been added to the game - the .50 caliber Action Express round (12.7 x 33mm). It is exclusive to the IMI Desert Eagle (Black Kite). They Desert Eagle/Black Kite is no longer compatible with .45 ACP rounds. There are two versions; normal and hydro shock. Owl will sell them after doing his missions. * Some changes have been made to Owl and Hawaiian's inventory. Owl more readily sells the advanced PSO-1 scopes and SUSAT scopes. Hawaiian sells better suits and PKM ammo without having to side heavily with Freedom or Duty. * Any suit that comes with an integrated helmet has some sort of night vision module. Which generation depends on the suit.
