It seems the Marvel craze is far from over, and now we have a skin submission that, to be quite honest, I'm surprised hasn't popped up in the past. It's also got more detail in than I would have expected. Probably more than I would've put in myself, actually, but given the model it was probably a good move.So the Fantastic Four movies may not have been the best, but everyone who's at least seen the commercials for the second one know how cool the concept of the Silver Surfer is. There are strengths and weaknesses to this likeness of him, both of which I'll discuss. First of all, this is one of the perfect excuses to use the somewhat weakly coded chrome shader (weakly coded by Raven, that is). Of course it still looks kinda crappy, but whatcha gonna do about that? It does turn out about as nicely as possible, though, and I have no legitimate complaints about it.The inherent weakness to this skin is the model itself. The author tried texturing some muscle tone onto him, but the poor Jedi is just quite a shrimp and a skinned-on six pack isn't going to change that too much. Unfortunately I can't actually think of an appropriate model to use, so that complicates things slightly. All in all for what we've got I think this is a very nice rendition of the Silver Surfer which should be picked up by any Fantastic Four fans out there. The custom sounds really top this skin off very nicely.Team Support: NoBot Support: NoNPC Support: NoNew Sounds: Yes~Inyri
