six hundred maps is not really that much. No, this pack has more than two thousand maps. Yes, thats 2000, not 200, not 20 and not a typo. This contains, as one might expect quite an impressive number of maps. I might suggest that if your worried about disc space that you unzip it to a different folder before dropping it into your /bzn folder! It should be noted that the majority of these maps have been unavailable to anybody that has not spent years in online gaming. The gaming community shares maps through the ingame downloads system, so there is a fairly Darwinian process for maps, lots of the ones here are not likely to have been seen to much my the majority of the gaming community let alone the modding community that visits the site. Indeed, one problem is that two [i]thousand[/i] maps is quite a lot. Luckily, having throught of everything there is also a "lite" pack on the site already which contains a sensible number (thats only a hundred and something) of the most popular maps, as played by the online gaming community. You really ought to be downloading one or the other, possibly the other first and then this once you get fed up with the hundred or so "best" maps.

Background \'envDefault\' is a blank (black) background for a more sparse space-effect. The other five are respective to the main colours of Nebula found within the game; Blue, Green, Purple, Red, and Yellow.
ever you like, but keep in mind that these backrounds are well-matched to the light settings of the last version of the Armada II Upgrade Projekt. These backgrounds are in very high resolution to provide an unknown level of detail. There are no seams visible (or very hardly).
base. The base can be achieved only through worm holes. I recommend you to form two teams. Team 1 is in the base and team two outside the base. I have tested the map and found no errors. wormholes to get to each side are hidden in nebula. The nebula are color coded, the pink/purple nebula in no mans land hides the wormholes to get into the bases and the blue nebula in the base area hid the wormholes to get out. There are tons of moons scattered around in no mans land for the taking if you can hold them. There is also some scatted nebula in no mans land to use for strategic purposes.

8-player 3 vs 3 vs 2. It features a little of everything from nebulas, to asteroids (as blockages). Though of course it is moderate to avoid massive lag on multiplay.

5+ years. Unfortunately, while these maps are firmly embedded as classics in Armada's community a lot of that has to do with planets. Without needing to gather metal and without having the warp inhibiting gravity wells some of these maps won't play anything like the originals. Regardless, these maps are amongst the best ever created for Armada and i'm sure they will play extremely well regardless of the gameplay changes found in fleet operations. Veterans of Armada multiplayer might recognise the maps more readily by the names they have carried for many years more readily. Galaxy Wars version 1, is indeed a Fleet Operations varient of the classic 8 player map "Galaxy Wars by Tomahawk". Galaxy Wars version 2 appears to be the classic "6Assualt" by Petzi Galaxy Wars version 3 looks very much like "Evolutions Tears" Galaxy Wars version 4 is probably 2vs2vs2vs2 by PrimaryDestroyer Sacrifice of the Devil looks quite similar to the classic Sacrifice of Angels map, that's been played since around '04 Choas Control and Corridors are ports of the classic maps of the same name. The venerable wassup series of maps is also represented with 2wasup. I suspect that this map will play radically differently to the original considering most of the gameplay dynamics are different. - Freyr

of a drawing for the mini map. The massive nebula field in the middle of the map doesn't really have much of an effect on gameplay seeing as it's mostly metaphasic nebulae, and absent of any resources in the middle there isin't really a huge amount of point entering it in the first place. So all in all, probably better to look at than to play, but still worth a look. :) - Freyr
forum thread over on A2Files about large maps. The more I have play tested the maps I have made, the more I have come to agree with him and others about large maps being better maps. There are five and seven player maps in this pack and one six player map. I did these mostly because there are no five or seven player maps available I am aware of. Lighting is much darker on my maps than most people are accustomed to for a reason. Shadows are required to give any game object the appearance of mass. There are some beautiful custom ships out there and they deserve to look as good as their makers intended.

AI in terms of making them identifiable on the map in some other way than the grey color. Somehow, I drew up the Imperial Universe from that, and so we have my latest map. This time, unlike in my second map, we are completely inside the alternate universe. The area of space is dominated by the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance. Devastated hulks of Terran Warships are all over the map, including one last "surviving" outpost. The House of Duras are the Klingons in question that are in power here, with the return of one of its most notorious leaders. On a side note, I am using Yaccuza's Midnight Universe 2.00 in all of my maps in the future, so this will be in the requirements field from now on. ALL credit for EVERY modified celestial body (planets, suns, moons, etc.) goes to Yaccuza. I take NO credit in the making of the modified celestial bodies, only credit for this map that they are in. genuinely good maps from Thunderfoot. We don't have enough mappers left, fortunately those that we do are producing some pretty good stuff. That's the case here. We have three maps, all of which are utilising the engines lighting effects to the max. They look good, and play better. You have a choice of the following maps:- At Close Range - This maps is a small four player map, which as the name suggests is fought at close range. Fighting is up close and personal from the onset. Futility of Mercy - Is a six player map where everyone has plenty of time and space to build up a massive fleet before smashing their enemies. Middle Ground - Is one of that unusual breed, A five player map. If nothing else, this is worth getting hold of so that you have something in the 5P map selection! It's something of a "king of the hill" style map, in that the player in the center has some advantages to offset the fact that everybody else wants the hill and is coming for the kill. I'd say these are well worth a download. - Freyr
to resemble the passage through the wormhole to the Terran Universe. Once you have traveled through, you will meet a HUGE armada of Terran warships. I made this map so big that you would have time to build your own massive armada in order to breach the Terran's defenses so that you may begin your assault on your real enemy. Be warned, there WILL be a fight to just get to the wormholes. There are lots of resources on both sides in order to help you keep up with the demand to build your armada. As another warning, I put in quite a few map objects in order to cover up the space so it would not be completely empty, so it is very likely you may experince some lag. These are kind of concept maps. The lighting in A2 is one of the game s strongest features. There are numerous well done custom ships which take advantage of this through superb lightmaps. So I thought, "Why not make some maps where someone can see just how good some of these custom ships really look? NOTE: This contains a better version of Twilight s Last. It has been adjusted to correct some flaws and a few other things which I did not like. This map should play much better than the previous version. Couple it with improved AIPs and it should provide a very rewarding and challenging game.

radioactive and metron gas nebulae. I made a row of Romulan torpedo turrets, plasma turrets, and sensor arrays extending the entire width of the map. I blocked off the Romulans' area by an asteroid field, and I blocked the only two ways in off with Romulan fleets. I hope you guys will like it. Still debating about what my next map will be, Cardassian space, Klingon space, or perhaps a giant graveyard of ships, of course with a difficult AI enemy -ISS Enterprise-D

Why do people expect these things will always act/behave the same way? Hence, the name of the map. I haven t tried to overdo the map, just wanted to try out some new ideas. MAP BACK STORY: The back story for this map is non-existent. I could not think of a good one and I didn t want to bore you with something silly NOTE Before I go any further, I would like to point out I credited the wrong person with giving me the idea behind my first map, Sao Magnifico. The pictures upon which the first map was based were actually done by Fallen Graces. I apologize sincerely to him for such a shameful mistake upon my part. FG, I don t know yet how I will make this up to you, but I will.

Cardassian scout patrols on a routine border trace diverted off the regular course to avoid the effects of a large ion storm which was an imminent danger to the crews. Suddenly, the navigational sensors aboard these ships picked up traces of a previously unknown star system which appeared to have a large black hole in it. Dropping out of warp, the scouts began a routine scan of the system. And forgot to breathe. Latinum. In quantities never before seen anywhere. Enough latinum to literally buy the Cardassian Union a warfleet equal in size to all of the other Alpha and Beta Quadrant powers combined. of course the system was conveniently located just outside Cardassian space, as well as Federation and Klingon space as well. But near enough to all three that all three could claim it if they they got there fast enough. So begins the Latinum Rush!

(Some of you may quibble with the inclusion of certain ship designs that only came into Prime Starfleet service after the Mirror Starfleet would've been destroyed by the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance. Try not to think about it so hard.) ;) But in the OTHER corner is a whole separate wormhole! And that wormhole leads to.... well, you'll have to download this map to try it and find out, won't you? This is some seriously creative map work from ISS Enterprise-D, and definitely worth a download. :cool:

While some A2 players prefer the "wasup" style map to other maps, others prefer a bit more of a challenge, and a bit less of a perfectly regimented equitability that leaves little room for anything but sheer force to prevail. area in the middle of the map containing planets and resources. The only way to the main back of the map where 2 modified stations lay are through the borg transwarp portals on the map. If they're destroied the only way back there is through a transwarp gate weapon. The transwarp portal leads to the first blocked off area of the map in which there are some planets such as earth and a starfleet command hq and 5 disfunctional turrets. To enter the final blocked off area simply use the wormhole in the mutara nebula. There are 2 quantom stations to guard the wormhole since most people have multiple bases. The modified stations are a temporal station and a transwarp gate which have their special weapon energies doubled. There are 4 derelict ships in the last area of the map which are, Enterprise E, Borg Queen's Diamond, Kentar's Keldon, and USS Incursion. All the stations and ships are capturable. Most noticable planets on the map are Earth, Corneria, Tatooine, Ryloth (I think that one is on there) among others. Only known bug is sometimes the modified stations don't want to use their weapons. Other than that the map is fine. Wasn't sure how to upload a screenshot or I would have. I've included a bonus RTS file that ups the officer limit to 3999 and makes transporter group 10 to a single transport. To balance it out I upped the time to 1.5 seconds between transports. try to launch this map, I am all but absolutely certain that it will cause your game to crash to desktop. How, you may ask, can I be so certain? The screencaps tell the story. There are several map units specified (notably Deep Space Nine and the K7 space station, no doubt among others) which will not be found in a stock build of A2. And that's really the only weak point of this map. The design itself looks pretty nice, but the unfortunate oversight of a brief list of required content in order to get this map to work has made it unlikely to work unless you happen to have the same basic configuration as the map author's personal build. However, it'll be nice to see a new version of this one, when it's available, or when a list of required units makes its way to our attention. planets, two have D class planets, two have infinite Dilithium moons and two have a cluster of Latinum nebulae. The planet in the middle is a J class. I added wormholes in the four cross areas around the planet to make getting about quicker. They all go clockwise. There is an issue on the map selection screen where all the starting locs appear in the center. I don't know why, or how to fix it, but they are in the right places - I did check.
these maps available for download here in the Armada II files, this is probably the largest map out there(40,000 X 40,000).I like playing in large open space basically for two main reasons....it's more realistic and it facilitates isolated large fleet combats as it takes a while for reinforcements to arrive.

personal build of A2 went to hell, and I couldn\'t get it to load. Unfortunately, no mention of required mods etc. was included so I don\'t know if it\'s my install of A2 or this map that\'s the reason it won\'t load. (I also don\'t know if it\'s responsible for the crash-death of my A2 install. Scary thought. Probably not true.) Anyway, my problems aside, here y\'go. And as a note to thewhitewizard, please, in future, advise us if we need to add something in order to make your map work with a stock A2 build in the \'requirements\' box. Its incredibly simple, but like most things I have done its been overlooked by many people for the past five years. As so long as you remember to do a backup of the text and replace it before you go back to playing online your fine. I can remember one time when I forgot to do this and I couldn't read anything my team was trying to send to me which made for quite an interesting game. (it was a 4v4 and we still won it despite the obvious communication problems) There is a backup of the old files included so you don't get stuck without them. Have fun. -Freyr

The only way out is though a Transwarp gate which there is only one inside shipyard haven so use your recourses wisely. Why Caged II the players not as close to each other and are around the side of the Cage inside of course. Also it the batter one of the cages to play with the A.I well that want I think anyway I sure your make your own mine up.[/quote]
placement but the strategy in conquering the map should be the same as Delta Wormhole III, start on the very leftmost base and work your way through the big radioactive nebula and take each base one by one, much like the Vikings - attack what you see and move onto the next village! Those of you who have downloaded all recent work by TJP will notice the style of layout in his maps and if you have played on any of the previous maps you will probably be at an advantage as bits and parts of the previous Delta Wormhole Maps are incorporated into this large 8 player slugfest! map is quite interesting. Divided into three distinct sectors by a large line of asteroids and one mini sector stuck in the top corner, it is prefect for a large battle. In the first sector (bottom left) there is four planets, with four dilithium moons and a small amount of latinum sprinkled around. Some Cerulean nebula is positioned on the very top corner of this sector with a few derelict units caught inside it. The entry points into this sector is via a gap in the asteroid belt which leads onto the second sector, another one is present at the foot of the map which leads into sector three. This second sector, positioned on the top half of the map has 5 planets, with a three dilithium moons and some latinum nebula. It is the only sector that leads into the fourth sector at the top which has two dilithium moons and a large grouping of latinum. What really makes this part of the map stand out is the large debris field at the foot of the entry point to sector one. This debris field contains large amounts of derelict shuips such as the Enterprise-E, a Negh\'Var, the Incursion Class and the IKS Sad\'taj amongst a few other Federation, Romulan and Klingon vessels. The whole area is engulfed by a radioactive nebula which will make retrieval of these vessels a difficult task. This field is also bracketed by two blackholes which will make navigation of the area difficult.The third sector is basically a smaller copy of the first so there is no real difference between the approach you should make with both. Combat should be intriguing on this map. Other than that, I\'d say try it out! Keep up the good map making skills TJP! - [b]IKS[/b]
gone back to 4 player map for this 1. This map had the logo from Duke Nukem in the middle of it well the map is the logo 3 players start off in side the logo while another is on the out side. The ones on the outside have to find a way in. While if you’re in the middle there no way out unless you’re the Borg and have free tact to build a transwarp gate. However the Borg shipyard cant not be build in the middle because there two big how ever if you’re the Borg on the outside there is room and if your not the Borg there a Working Borg Starbase on the other side of the map for you to take. other. These Stargates are wormholes with nebulae surrounding, the concept is a bit abstract but it works. Both of them are positioned centrally so expect alot of fighting to spring up in and around each \"Stargate\". In the left-hand sector of the map the players all start off. This sector is barren compared to the right-hand sector but still has enough resources to get your fleet up and running. In contains some pockets of Metreon and Radioactive nebula around the periphery of the map which I can\'t see why they are there other than for eye candy. When you mow-through the enemy fleet that will be loitering around the wormhole you will come to the right-hand sector with it\'s great abundance of resources. The majority of Latinum nebulae is located on this side with the necessary D-Class Moons to provide metal for your war machine. The second Map is practically the same except the \"Stargates\" are much larger.. Also watch out for the black hole in both maps, that baby will consume alot of poor derelict ships. :) Note: It also includes audio files for the Atlantis theme tune and the SG1 theme tune. Overall, not a bad map set to be fair, nice idea and implementation behind it - [b]IKS[/b]

The end game can be especially fun and can end up in situations where, after dilithium (and to some extent metal) is scarse and building heavily armed ships is difficult, the control of the latinum deposits and trade routes become key. planets. The most important part of the map is the battlefield on the right side, full of empty ships and stations. Fast players can capture those and get huge advantages in the match. If you don\'t have enough maps yet, this is worth taking a look. The readme isn\'t very accurate concerning the installation instructions.
this map is certainly one of those maps. Created by [i]TrevorPilkington[/i], [b]Delta Colony[/b] has got a nice setup to it. It is a four player map that has map units placed on it to add to the battle. The positioning of the players is quite good, with 3 players situated at three of the four corners of the maps with one player stuck in the centre. The main fight will probably shape up around the centre of the map where an unfortunate player is surrounded by 3 enemies but on the plus side has a wall of asteroids behind them and at least has an escape route through the asteroids into the expanse with the blackholes. However retreating into the expanse could cause you headaches as the second your ships loose engines or crew they will get sucked into the blackholes. The best tactic I can think of for this part of the map is retreat to the very top right hand-side of the map past the blackholes and radioactive nebula where you could adopt a siege mentality. A plus to doing so would be enemy forces entering/re-entering the nebula thus loosing vital crew members, becoming adrift and being sucked up by the blackholes. This is a good map, it has some interesting combat scenarios to dish out. :D Plus it actually has a story behind it too - [b]IKS[/b]
community, so without further delay it's time to get the mods back on track. There will be a few today to start us off on the track again, but first here we have a two map mod from [b]Andyx100[/b] called [i]Beyond the Wall[/i] The first map is a sizeable map which has an asteroid belt dividing it down through the centre in two halves. Both halves are identically mirrored so there is no real distinction between players having advantages over each other starting off. However there is a real strategically imperative wormhole that is the only means of getting across the "wall", expect some bloodshed for control of that "gate". Also there should be enough resources on the map to satisfy a long and drawn out fight if you are willing to fight a human player online with it! The second map is a smaller map that has similarities to the first map. Again the map is divided by a wall of asteroids and the only way through the thick rock is via a wormhole. The wormhole is engulfed by nebula making movement, sight and combat all the more difficult. The map contains less resources than the first but should still provide a good arena to slug it out against some Cardassians :) - [b]IKS[/b]
uncomplicated battle will more than likely be the case, no where to hide or use as vantage/ambush points. The bases/starting-off points are pretty run-of-the-mill, you get your general resource pack in a planet, moon, latinum nebula and two dilithium moons. However the main fight on this map will shape up around the centre of it where there are four infinite moons and a ring of latinum gas clouds surrounding a class J planet - undoubtedly it will be the main objective for you to secure to wipe out the enemy on this map. This map is divided into three areas (sectors) [i]check screenshot below[/i] but is still a bit short on dilithium resources which will make the map conquest take that little but longer, A good tactic is to gain full control of the latinum nebulae and use the trading station to convert latinum to dilithium. [b][u]Map Four[/u][/b]: Another odd map, with little resources but enough open space to ensure a fast-paced offensive game. [b][u]Map Five[/u][/b]: Two planets, spacedust and nothing else. I suggest using max starting resources and throwing everything, including the kitchen sink, at the opposing planet\'s forces. [u][b]Map Six[/b][/u]: The strangest map.. A fluidic gate with two players lining up.. This is a straight shoot-out between two fleets, ship to ship tactics are important here as there are no nebulae, asteroids, or planets to hide in or use to mask Fleet movements. A good map pack, in fairness, but make sure you set the resources to max to make the games last longer. :) [b]- IKS[/b]
has got his/her own quarter to build up in along with 2 dilithium and tritanium moons. So this is perfectly balanced; as you can see everything is placed the same way in all of the corners. that the map is no longer an open space battleground which helps in defending you base. In correlation to 7rock, the four corner positions are still the easiest to defend but this time they are even easier as the asteroid belt cuts off your nearest opponent. The right and left centre positions are also much easier to defend as the only direct threat will come from the centre position and you can be sure the player there will be busy defending against the player at the other side. The centre position imo, is much more difficult as the asteroids have cut off the four corner positions from the left and right centres hence the centre position will undoubtedly get besieged from both the left and right centre positions. Also the wormholes add a bit of chaos as they are not uniformly placed on the map so deploying a few scouts to probe the wormholes\' placement is a good start to conquering this map. Cool map, but I like the first \"open space\" version ;) [b]- IKS[/b]
four corner positions as they really only have one adjacent opponent (the other is too far away to be consider a direct threat). The centre position is possibly the hardest to defend as it is open to attack from all sides really. The two middle positions to the extreme left and right are also difficult to defend as you will face attacks from above, below and to your openside from the centre. This map really requires a line of turrets to be built to mark your territory and thus defend it. Another interesting map, fight against 6 Hard AI's allied together while you're in the central position and you might get another "Battle for Crusis Major". Nice work Ntanel ;) [b]- IKS[/b]

Again, like most of [b]StormBlade[/b]\'s maps this one is large (50000 in dimension) so those who experience lag while indulging in large battles in normal sized maps should have issues here. of mutara nebulae which is the only access point into each of the three sectors. This should provide some interesting combat as we all know the mutara nebula slows down ships, makes their sensors and shields redundant and disrupts warp so there will be alot of firing blind inside that nebula. defences and cause havoc, forcing them to retire. That\'s exactly my thought on this map. Jousting. Two players, pit against each other at one end of a thin map, must fight each other to get to the end where the base will be. Maps like this can be incredibly interesting, one way or another, but take a closer look and you\'ll realise this is really quite something special. There are plenty of resources to get you going on start. You may even lose concentration with the enemy with what you have. The middle, a void bar some nebula in the middle, is open for fighting...and strategic defence. You see, the only way you\'re going to sneak up on the enemy is by changing where you are vertically. Straight-on, it\'s a fight of strength and numbers. Playing it my self, I would have to suggest layers of defences at different levels in a hope to catch the enemy in a trap and force them to breach your defences. There is no way of doing any special manoeuvres. Keep your important bases at rear and the turrets up front. This is simply about numbers and strength. The knights of old jousted, now you can too.
the largest stock A2 map \'Warzone\'. Whilst not the biggest on the site (we do have one that indeed pushes the 50000x50000 boundary) it may lag computers that only just meet the minimum requirements, hence the suggestion up-top that you have a computer that can more than competently play this game. Alternatively, if you can play 8-player ‘Warzone’ with no lag, be thankful that this is a 6 player map and you may get away with it. The map itself, as already noted for being rather large, is definitely curious. Whilst the space for so many objects is not used, the intention is instead to get you to duke it out in the vastness, allowing you to conquer sections of the map. Quite like a real battle, this map is poised perfectly for to-and-fro fighting, where you\'ll likely be pushing each other for control of sections that really aren\'t too close to your base. One point I\'d like to pick up on though, which would heavily draw this map out, is the point of defence. Many maps now adopt the philosophy of some sort of natural defence, usually a wormhole. The wormhole to your corner of the map though is placed in such a position, defence is made ridiculously easy. Of course, there are ways of punching through, but this would be quite a task. Combine this with the adequate, though not wholly long-lasting resources you get at the start, this map certainly has the potential to cause quite a few large skirmishes. All in all, a treat for those of you who like space.

think on your feet. Why? Chock-a-block with Dominion forces (amongst others...no hints there, sorry!) scattered across the map, be they the small attack ships or the dominating Dreadnaught's that crush anything in its sight. This should make early scouting rather interesting, especially for those without cloaks and even later for those who are mass fleet moving and bump into a Dreadnaught. There are plenty of resource points in the map (as evident by the large amount of dilithium moons) and there is bound to be plenty of space to build, even if you're the Borg. Strategies though? Well, if I was a cloakable race, I'd set up a network of sensors as constructed by a chain of cloakable ships (so Talon, Hideki and Bird of Prey) and if I wasn't, I'd do my best to lure the enemy away from my base and fleets. Of course, you could extend that by luring the enemy to, well, your opponent and see how much damage could be done. With an early on implementation of this, you could really set back the enemy. Anyhow, this looks to be a cracking first-time map, one of many I hope.
ones where you had unlimited resources and would spam the wormhole up with defences, this one does it with a bit more style. There is a sufficient amount of resources (all three) but not enough to allow you to create an endless armada based off them. No, you\'ll almost certainly need trading outposts (and I can think up obvious routes right now, going along the back of your section) to bolster supplies, making it that bit harder for the Borg and Species 8472 in this map. That being said, I think there could be some fun playing on this. The gravity wells, placed sporadically with the planets, will make warping a bit difficult in the enemy\'s territory. It\'s the wormholes that will provide the fun. Obviously, the balance is between getting enough of a defence, and not restricting outwards fire-power. Regardless, this will make for a good slugging-it-out match...and they\'re always fun.
as it is likely to lead to synch issues however its find for most people here that only play against the AI or on a LAN.

in these situations, and its quite hard to prevent latinum filled freighters being shoved strait onto your base\'s defences) It attempts to keep each side on an equal footing, but it dosen\'t quite manage it. Just to pick a couple of observations out of the air the top left corner has its dilithium moon within easy weapons range of ships exiting the wormhole, whilst the bottom right corner enjoys some quite considerable seperation in addition to having its best approach in between a red nebula, which you don\'t want to fly a fleet through and the gravity well of an \"M\" class planet on the otherside. That would make a fun ambush! Hopefully balancing problems like this will be fixed in a future version. This map also requires the included blue background. The problem with including new backgrounds instead of replacing old ones is the potential for problems that they cause when you download a map ingame. Because it dosen\'t transfer the dependancies you can have problems if you download it without the background.

I would recommend 2 teams on this map (besides, it'd make latinum grabbing easier) and should make for some pretty heated battles in the middle. For future releases, I'd think about adding a few more features, but not too many as Monroe has certainly got the right idea. In a fight battles are likely to be short, as the first team to the two centre planets will have a huge advantage over the other team while the other team will be trying hard to build single ships. Because they would be unable to build more than a few ships they wouldn't be able to defend their dilithium mines which would be promptly blown away, which would bring a rapid halt to any building activily. Finally several minutes later an assualt force with a massive firepower advantage would completely destroy the main base. To improve this the planets in the middle need to be smaller to give less of an advantage and extra planets need to be added in to prevent you from completely losing the game if you don't have the middle planets. -Freyr

Equipped with a well supplied base at the start and room for expansion along with moons darted around for further resource extraction, I can't really fault this map. Nebula use is done well and the slight assymetrical design will be a throw for the more advanced players. All in all, good job and, particularly a good job for a first map. With quality like this, hopefully the start of a good few more.

provided, large map. The map has plenty of resources, so don\'t worry about being starved of those. It also has quite a nice varied feeling. It\'s not symmetrical which probably will add a bit more fun to it. The only problem I have with this map, a personal thing though, is that there are derelict construction ships in the centre (guarded by Species 8472 ships). Obviously, as the title suggests, salvage is the name, salvaging is the game but I never really liked doing that. Still, putting it aside, it\'s not too bad a map and defintely worth a try out. Besides, I\'m betting it would make for some great online play.

is a large space in the middle for fighting and resource gathering. Your base is nicely defended by asteroids and nebulae but there is a gap, so beware the frontal or surprise attack! All in all, pretty good map, well done. To all players, offline or not, get this now, it\'s definitely worth it!
player, that has 5 main zones from what I can determine: the two starting locations, two other resource extraction points and then the centre ground where most of the battles will most likely be taking place. I think what is really clever about this map is how it might seem big but really isn\'t. The asteroids severely reduce the amount of playing room but I think in this map it is to good effect. If you\'re Borg, I suggest you try and get a bit more into the open as your starting location might begin to get a bit crampt but I think this holds the potential to be a throughly enjoyable 2 player map. My only little problem with it is the additional two resource places seem to be un-even, but heck, space isn\'t symmetrical is it? Anyhow, very nicely done map, download now!

actions will have to be made, as well as careful defending of yur wormhole which lies literally right on the other side of the opposite wormhole, so be careful. It does seem though as if some starting places are blessed with more resources, so you\'ll wanna watch that. Other then that, good job, well done. Download for a tightly-pitched battle.
on-line opponents, you must defend yourself from the cross-universe race bent on destruction. A nicely revised stock map, recommended to those who want a challenge before you face your main opponent.

pictures, are how the latinum nebulae are used to make the chevrons on the Stargate and it really does work. The inside of the gate will blind you but venture and ye shall gain access to much riches! To make this better, included in the file are the theme tunes for S-G1 and Atlantis, so you can blast away your enemies, enter the gate and conquer the universe like the Goa\'uld whilst listening to some pretty decent music! This is a rather action packed map, with six players. I recommend two teams, otherwise it could get quite awkward in there. Obviously, the aim is to get your side into the stargate to get the resources, but due to the location of the wormhole and the resources contained within, you\'ll struggle with defending it. Regardless of this, it seem\'s like a great map with some great music, download now.

playing on a full map the action is quite enjoyable. Worth adding to your collection.
Included in this version are five missons called \"All New Things\", \"A Price Too High\", \"Aftermath\", \"Warcry\" and \"Onslaught\". All of these mission\'s are rather basic and easy to complete. I hope future versions of this will provide alot more detail and perhaps allow you to almost \"Re-enact\" entire episodes of TNG.

are playing the Borg. Their is one section of the map with the only three Class M planets and four infinite dilithium moons.

You have to get through them inorder to get to the other player's maze which intern leads to their base. The trick is that while you navigate through your maze, you will encounter rift makers along the way. The main bases have a planet and two dilithium moons (non infinate) each. While you navigate the maze, you will find nooks with latinum nebulas, 4 infinate moons. You can get these without trouble with the first two nooks, but the rest will have rift makers gaurding the extra resources.[/quote]

in a catagory of its own! An Asteroid field cuts through the middle of this sector and all surrounding sectors for about 100 lightyears. But thankfully there is a wormhole to the other side but of course there is a catch. Once you enter the wormhole you are trapped on the inside of it! So far we have been unable to determine which of the many exits lead to the other side. We believe that this is not naturaly occuring but instead it was made by Species 8472 to slow down the enemy. You need to set up your base an launch and effort to find which one leads to the other side. Be careful though because severl ships have gone in but have not come out. Since it is obvious this was made to slow us down we can assume we are getting closer to something the 8472 dont want us to see...[/quote]

To make a long story short Starfleet scout vessels have detected an extremely large Latinum Nebula in a sector not to far from the wormhole. Explore the sector and find this nebula. Also watch out for enemy bases and there is still the chance that Species 8472 is lerking somewhere in the area. Our scientists are working on ways to find out exactly how far fluidic space is into the Andromeda galaxy but we dont expect any results soon. there is also there is the pathway inside the bajoran wormole which leads to the alternate reality universe, as seen in the Deep Space Nine Series on several occasions. there are several nebulas, 1 planet (either bajor or the Vorta homeworld kareel prime), and 1 dilithium moon. there is an abandoned cardassian outpost at the wormhole entrance in the alpha quadrant.
Captain Kaylenn has gone overboard at times with nebulas, wich my luck nice, and prove a good challenge, but probably completely cripple gameplay..... The shot (below) shows some of the other maps, and there are a few good ones as you can see. It is STRONGLY reccomended that Unlimited Resources be used when playing these, as several of them have no resources of their own, wich is quite a dissapointment for all you hardcore players who may not prefer easy challenges. All in all a very nice collection thats worth adding to your collection of maps. ;)

supplies....you only hinderence to get to that cache is your opponent. Whoever gets the cache and secures it first, has the upper hand. Bare in mind, that since the only way to the cache is by wormhole, if the enemy has the cache, your base is easily accessed by [u]your own[/u] wormhole.

Gate. But you not that Transwarp Gate is the only way in so if it got kill you will not be able to get into the Shipyard Haven. But if it got kill than you are inside the Shipyard Haven there a way out anther Transwarp Gate.

BorgBase1.2 did well I not no why but I have try to make this map as good as that one. This well been may lest map untill Shipyard Haven and this map has bin put up unless I change my mind.
search for a fix. Another bug from the builder is there are 5 spots to use for a starting point. DO NOT USE THE MIDDLE START POINT! In order to prevent this, use the \'fixed placement\' option and everyone must pick a point to start on. I am working to try and correct this. These are the only known bugs in the map. Oh one more thing, somewhere in this map is a field of deralect consruction ships for each race (except for species 8472, I would like to see someone come up with a mode to allow you to capture their ships.)

Voyager, Enterprise-D and Defiant. all the ship combat ships in the game unless a miss some. The most powerfull ship of any race two time apart from 8472 ships the map has none of them beacause you can make them dead in space.

I good Ideal is to get as many ship as posseball and them blild your base in the 0 clase drown the gate them no one can got into your base and there is a Tranwap gate so can get out if you palying with other people than wat ideal would work becuase eveyone would be tyeing to got in there. CENTRESTAGE: The Centrestage map, as mentioned above, centerd around defense. The bulk of dilithium/metal deposits rest upon the part of your quadrant that is closest to the entrance to your area. So it serves nicely as an "outpost", the research can be place near the "core" area, while shipbuilding is suited better for the "outpost" area. Building a trade convoy between the two point wouldn't hurt either. CENTRESTAGE vARIENT: Exactly the same as the Centrestage, this map has but one difference: wormholes. There are two wormholes in your quadrant that are linked up to each other. One near the dilithium moon near the Metreon Nebula, and one near the outpost area. This serves great for evacuation for your "outpost" base, or a rueful surprise for the attacker. The stratagy that I usually use is instead of putting the shipyards near the "outpost", put them near the Metreon Nebula, with the wormwhole. So the mainstay of your armada will be hidden from attackers, giving misinformation to your counterpart(s).
