Galactic Conquest V5 Windows Server Files
map rotation correctly: -Release 5 features six maps that start with “GC_Mini_” in their title. These maps are not designed for a standard 32 player (or greater) server. They are tooled for 8 to 16 players on a server, and designed specifically for 4v4 to 6v6 clan matches. You *can* put them into your rotation, but with 32 players it’s going to be really small and hectic. Some may like that, but we recommend they stay out of the normal full player rotation. -Release 5 features a map called “GC_bonusrace”. This map is also not for normal server rotation. This map isn\'t a normal match, but was made for players who like to stage races around a track with our vehicles. In a normal rotation, most players will be confused and not have much to do. It’s HIGHLY recommended you don’t have this map playing unless you are staging an online race. -Don’t forget, three of GC’s maps are in the Objective mode menu, and have to be selected from it if you don’t use Blackbag ops. -As always, we recommend no friendly fire except when admins are logged in and physically present. -The rest of the new features are outlined in the readme file located in the mod folder. -This is a full install for the server version, so you should delete your old GCMOD folder. several people have downloaded the patch in its intermediate state before the final patch was publically announced. This version causes crashes when played on the official server. It is important that you install the final 0.791 patch over a CLEAN v0.79 install. We recommend deleting your Battlefield1942/mods/DC_Realism/ folder, then freshly install the 0.79 install and the 0.791 patch. The new No Fly Zone Day 2 involves multiple Iraqi armored columns supported by Mirages counterattacking the Coalition airbase. The Coalition must prevent the destruction of their airfield by hunting down enemy tanks and artillery before it\'s too late. Among their strike aircraft they also will be using the revised AC-130 gunship. Revision from 0.79 to 0.791 - Mine damage to MBTs increased slightly to ensure a disable - Recoilless Rifles in 73 eastings raised to prevent fratricide - Tank drivers and gunners separated. Three additional vehicles (two maintenance / supply vehicles and the Marder III tank hunter). The maintenance vehicles can repair all modded tanks, trucks, APCs, planes and guns from the Mod Collection RtR. AT25/Pak40 guns are also artillery guns (can fire two different types of ammo) and have less ammo - more than 200 rounds though; (additional ammo needs to be supplied by the new APC/truck). AT ammo more effective, shooting more straight. Artillery ammo does less damage than Priest/Wespe. MG damage to planes reduced - pilots live longer. The RtR MedicBox is on all maps now. Priest and M3 Grant are 4-seaters like the StuG Allies now have 4 APC types, Axis 4 different trucks. The new Allied AAGMC maintenance halftrack has 4 AA Brownings. All APC front doors can be opened (by the driver, arrow keys like in the landing craft), on two halftracks the rear door also opens. Axis smoke discharger truck has camouflage for the weapons compartment - looks like a standard truck.[/quote]
