consideration the issues you guys had and bring out v1.2. To be honest, there wasn\'t much that needed fixing. The main problem was that the initial installer did not support EA Link customers. This has now been rectified. It was due to the way EA Link launches the game. I have made it so that the installer searches for a \'common\' file that you share with the Hard Copy customers to validate the install, and also installs a shortcut, designed with your file architecture in mind. There are 2 updated maps, and improved AI - I\'ve been on them non-stop, and i must say they are awesome. You\'ll also notice some changes to the interface, some more subtle than others. Finally, Version 2 is lined up to contain Titan Singleplayer (Full), so watch this space. Andy. [/quote]

Strike, the PAC Forces have decided to put all their effort into a final assault. Hungry for resources, General Klapovich and his titans managed to take position near the lasts livable EU cities. Luckily, the EMP shields surrounding the cities destroyed most of the electronics inside the titans, stopping their progression and disabling their defences. EU Forces have to destroy the titan PAC Forces have to take control of all the flags. ################################ The titan can\'t move, and it doesn\'t have his shield. Canons and pods do work. The maps are about 95% the same as the originals, only some minor tweaks/balancing were done to allow a better gameplay. The game ends either with : * the destruction of the titan by EU * the control of all the flags (and kill of all the opponents) by PAC * the normal tickets bleeding system[/quote]

2142, a new ice age is upon us and humanity is at war again. Fighting for the last remaining land the PAC and the EU meet trying to stay away from the ice. Conflict 2142 furthers the story set by BF2142 over time of playing, as newer version of the maps come out, you will notice the changing environments as the polar icecap moves further south. Check the forums for weekly map updates. Just about every weapon and vehicle has been reworked from the standard bf2142 items. The weapons have been recoded to make them fire more like you would expect them to. They are now more geared towards the intermediate to advanced players. There are over thousand changes to the standard bf2142! New weapons include the GAPR (Guided Anti Personnel Rocket) this is a pulse seeking rocket launcher for the assault kit, it fires 4 rockets at the same time that can lock onto and track anything with a pulse! The recon kit now has a silenced pistol, and everyone has the stabilizer by default. New vehicles include the mercenaries vehicles. These are all reworked old vehicles. The mercenaries are a third faction involved in the war for land, all they care about is money. In their retreat down south the mercenaries raided several 21st century military bunkers. They took much of the armor that they could salvage, and upgraded it with the modern technology. Take the LAV for example; this now has a vastly improved engine, dual chain guns and a motion mine launcher. The mercs secret weapon is a completely invisible jeep that can carry 4 people, this is highly entertaining. One more vehicle that really needs a mention is the merc mobile arty, fly massive devastating TV guided missiles to crush your opponents into the ground. To top things off we have re-skinned the soldier's uniforms, the vehicles and guns. Not only do they now have much more detail, they now come in four different types of camouflage, to suite each map. Finally the effects have been touched up too; there are now numerous blood effects, depending on where you get shot, and what with. This is all just the tip of the ice berg though, read the change log for more info, as there is so much in this mod. One of the best things though about this mod, is the community that surrounds it. Right now there aren't that many people casually playing it, but the cf2142 tournament ( http://www.conflict-2142.com ) play massive organized 8 hour battles on it every Saturday. Try out the mod, If you like it on single player you will love it in the tournament. There are so many features in the mod that you probably won't notice, in the cf2142 tournament you will be taught the benefit of all the features of the mod to maximize your killing potential. Please keep an eye on this mod as there is tons of stuff in development, including fixed wing bombers, jump packs, new buildings, new levels, new guns, and even more new vehicles. Try it out, you won't be disappointed. Note - When trying to find an online server, use the advanced browser, un-check all the filters apart from same mod, then update server list.

story set by BF2142 over time of playing, as newer version of the maps come out, you will notice the changing environments as the polar icecap moves further south. Check the forums for weekly map updates. Just about every weapon and vehicle has been reworked from the standard bf2142 items. The weapons have been recoded to make them fire more like you would expect them to. They are now more geared towards the intermediate to advanced players. There are over thousand changes to the standard bf2142! New weapons include the GAPR (Guided Anti Personnel Rocket) this is a pulse seeking rocket launcher for the assault kit, it fires 4 rockets at the same time that can lock onto and track anything with a pulse! The recon kit now has a silenced pistol, and everyone has the stabiliser by default. New vehicles include the mercenaries vehicles. These are all reworked old vehicles. The mercenaries are a third faction involved in the war for land, all they care about is money. In their retreat down south the mercenaries raided several 21st century military bunkers. They took much of the armour that they could salvage, and upgraded it with the modern technology. Take the LAV for example; this now has a vastly improved engine, dual chain guns and a motion mine launcher. The mercs secret weapon is a completely invisible jeep that can carry 4 people, this is highly entertaining. One more vehicle that really needs a mention is the merc mobile arty, fly massive devastating TV guided missiles to crush your opponents into the ground. To top things off we have reskinned the soldier's uniforms, the vehicles and guns. Not only do they now have much more detail, they now come in four different types of camouflage, to suite each map. Finally the effects have been touched up too; there are now numerous blood effects, depending on where you get shot, and what with. This is all just the tip of the ice berg though, read the change log for more info, as there is so much in this mod. One of the best things though about this mod, is the community that surrounds it. Right now there aren't that many people casually playing it, but the cf2142 tournament ( http://www.conflict2142.com/) play massive organised 8 hour battles on it every Saturday. Try out the mod, If you like it on single player you will love it in the tournament. There are so many features in the mod that you probably won't notice, in the cf2142 tournament you will be taught the benefit of all the features of the mod to maximise your killing potential. Please keep an eye on this mod as there is tons of stuff in development, including fixed wing bombers, jump packs, new buildings, new levels, new guns, and even more new vehicles. Try it out, you won't be disappointed. Note - When trying to find an online server, use the advanced browser, uncheck all the filters apart from same mod, then update server list.

The new Flag By Flag game mode is available for the 16 player sizes of all maps except Belgrade, where the flags aren’t located in a straight line. This game mode is just like conquest but you need to take the flags in the correct order - perfect for infantry leagues! Today, almost all infantry pcws are played FBF, but there's one big issue with playing it without a game mode that's enforcing the rules; both teams often grey each other's flags about the same time. This is very annoying and often leads to discussions of who was first and so on - but with the new clan mod game mode, you won't need to worry anymore! Of course normal conquest is still included in the clan mod, and you can switch between them by simply typing !fbf on and !fbf off in chat! Another thing many clans have been complaining about ever since BF2 is that the chat is frozen during pause. This is hard coded, but with Clan Mod 2.0, you can write to the other team by using RCON (the console). Of course, you do not need to log in. When paused, simply open the console and type rcon say Hello, what’s up? In addition to this, you can also request an unpause through rcon, using rcon unpause . When both teams have marked themselves as ready to continue, anyone can resume the game by typing rcon go. The reason for this additional command is to give the first team a brief time of warning before the game is live again. To pause the game, you can use the chat command !pause. A third thing that can get you to feel annoyed is being minutes from match and noticing that the server settings are incorrectly set up. There’s a solution for this as well in Clan Mod 2.0 – !setting =. For example, if the server is set to 3 rounds per map and you want 99, you can use !setting sv.roundspermap=99 . The other team need to agree, of course. A fourth thing that can make you suspicious in vanilla is that when being fullcapped on an infantry match, the other team could have someone go commander (which usually isn’t allowed) and spot you, without your team noticing it. In Clan Mod 2.0, there’s a new server setting to disable commander mode. There is as well a setting to disallow the use of any vehicle. If somebody enters a vehicle when this option is enabled, a chat message will reveal him, and he will be killed. Today, almost all infantry pcws are played FBF, but there's one big issue with playing it without a game mode that's enforcing the rules; both teams often grey each other's flags about the same time. This is very annoying and often leads to discussions of who was first and so on - but with the new clan mod game mode, you won't need to worry anymore! Of course normal conquest is still included in the clan mod, and you can switch between them by simply typing !fbf on and !fbf off in chat! Another thing many clans have been complaining about ever since BF2 is that the chat is frozen during pause. This is hard coded, but with Clan Mod 2.0, you can write to the other team by using RCON (the console). Of course, you do not need to log in. When paused, simply open the console and type rcon say Hello, what’s up? In addition to this, you can also request an unpause through rcon, using rcon unpause . When both teams have marked themselves as ready to continue, anyone can resume the game by typing rcon go. The reason for this additional command is to give the first team a brief time of warning before the game is live again. To pause the game, you can use the chat command !pause. A third thing that can get you to feel annoyed is being minutes from match and noticing that the server settings are incorrectly set up. There’s a solution for this as well in Clan Mod 2.0 – !setting =. For example, if the server is set to 3 rounds per map and you want 99, you can use !setting sv.roundspermap=99 . The other team need to agree, of course. A fourth thing that can make you suspicious in vanilla is that when being fullcapped on an infantry match, the other team could have someone go commander (which usually isn’t allowed) and spot you, without your team noticing it. In Clan Mod 2.0, there’s a new server setting to disable commander mode. There is as well a setting to disallow the use of any vehicle. If somebody enters a vehicle when this option is enabled, a chat message will reveal him, and he will be killed. This release features an all new game mode, Flag By Flag, server settings for infantry only & commander on/off, functionality to pause/unpause in-game as well as writing in-game during pause. You can check and change the server settings through a simple chat command, as well as take PunkBuster screenshots of players through a chat command. All servers also have the version number forced to the beginning of the server name to show players what version the server is using. This version also includes a new security feature – did you know that in BF2142, anyone can spawn vehicles or give themselves 100% HP through rcon commands? In Clan Mod 2.0, all such commands will be printed clearly in the chat to prevent cheating. Full list of changes: - New game mode: Flag By Flag. Enable with !fbf on and disable with !fbf off when playing conquest. - !setting command to change server settings in-game. - Pause / Unpause through chat & rcon.
