Server Code Version 1.3 DESCRIPTION: Linux dedicated server binaries for Call of Duty® 2 version 1.3 NOTE: Call of Duty 2 Linux Server is NOT SUPPORTED by Activision® Customer Support. Please do not call with any questions related to this free product. PunkBuster Note: If PunkBuster fails to initialize upon initial server launch of Call of Duty 2 Linux Patch 1.3 there are two ways to resolve. The first is to open the home location of Call of Duty 2 Linux. Ensure you can see hidden files and delete the folder named “.callofduty”. Now you can launch the Call of Duty 2 server with the parameter “+set sv_punkbuster 1” (Ex. “./cod2_lnxded +set sv_punkbuster 1”). If the above does not work, you can launch the server, but do not load a map (if you did launch a map, just enter “killserver” into the console and continue). Enter the following into the console; pb_sv_enable. Now launch a map, punkbuster should be working. To test whether or not PunkBuster was initialized correctly, with the server launched (ie. Map running), enter “pb_sv_ver” into the console. If there is a returned value, PunkBuster has been successfully initialized.
the Rhine on March 24, 1945 at Wallendar, Germany in pursuit of retreating German forces. German forces harassed the advancing Allied units while withdrawing. Decimated by five years of war, the streets of Wallendar are covered with rubble and impact craters creating intense battle over difficult terrain with blown-out buildings providing cover. The Americans are attempting to take the German city on this map of urban combat. Harbor (Rostov, Russia): An important shipping port in southern Russia, Rostov fell to the Germans in November 1941. The Soviet 37th army quickly counterattacked and punched through the overextended and winter-weary German lines to the north, forcing the 1st Panzer Army out. The Battle of Rostov resulted in the first major German withdrawal of the war. Call of Duty veterans will recognize the Harbor map as an updated version of the original from the first Call of Duty game. Infinity Ward confirmed the PC game modification tools were being finalized and would be released shortly. The industrial-strength tools will feature Radiant, as well as Maya plug-ins, allowing users to create their own single player and multiplayer Call of Duty 2 maps and missions.
features: Intel Hyper-Threading (HT) Technology processors, multiple processors, or dual core processors. It will work on any supported version of CoD2 up to v1.01 (so far only stock v1.0 is available), and it will not affect whether players\' purity. It is entirely backwards-compatible with v1.0 users connecting as clients to v1.01 servers, for example. I highly recommend this update because it\'s just a small download, and the installation is extremely painless. I finished downloading and installing in under a minute; the installation is extremely fast and requires no more than a few clicks of the mouse. You don\'t even have to reboot after it\'s done! After installing this, my CoD2 frame rate jumped from around 40 FPS to anywhere from 60-70 FPS, so it was definitely worth the very small amount of time getting it into gear. And by the way, I have a 3.0 GHz Intel D915PCYL HT-enabled processor. :P This update supports US/UK English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish, and Russian language versions of Call of Duty 2 only. -xXezekielXx
