Firestorm over Kronus Beta 3.5
(FoK) is a modification for the Dawn of War RTS by Relic Entertainment. A closer-to-Tabletop gaming experience with modified gameplay, win conditions, models and tech trees. Introducing an Army Painter with randomised models (i.e. you won't see the same model twice if you view a unit more than once) - this feature is only partly implemented at this stage. An improved and extended UI that allow a truly Tabletop-range of squad choices, abilities and upgrades. Tabletop gameplay and squad choices for all factions, from the mighty Chapter Masters to the enigmatic Eldar Autarches. Equip your squads with a range of weapons and wargear straight from the pages of the Tabletop Codecies. New-Races-Mixer
are: Inquisition Daemonhunt, Dawn of Steel, Witch Hunters and Tyranid. You must download and install them separately to actually get the new races in the game, but the mod works regardless. Dawn of Skirmish is also supported, in case you had it. This mod changes the victory conditions in the singleplayer campaign\'s skirmishes; the new rules are: Annihilate, Control Area and Take & Hold. Install this mod into Dark Crusade\'s main folder. From the main menu, go to the Game Manager and select New-Races-Mixer Mod 0.4.
Tyranid Mod
game. The Tyranids are an alien race, threatening the imperium from the edge of the galaxy, living only to feast upon the flesh of their foes. They are a fearsome adversary, but an even better ally! That's why our mod allows you fight with and for the great Tyranid race, swarm the enemy with hundreds of hormagaunts, stamp on your foes with the huge carnifex and devour your opponent from within with the deadly lictor. We aim to show players of Dawn of War what the fantastic Tyranids are and attempt to keep as true to the feel of the race as possible. Tyranids 400 Release -------------------- +WHAT TYRANID MODELS ARE IN THIS RELEASE? Every single model is in the game and animated, with a few exceptions -The Ravener has no animations -The Biovore appears as a Defiler -The Hive Tyrant appears as a Wraithlord -Will of the Hive appears as a skull probe -Capillary Tower, Spore Chimney and Magma Vents are all standins -Most buildings do not have animations ===IN GAME THINGS TO KNOW!=== +WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS MOD+ This version of the mod is a complete overhaul from 0.3. Everything is different. The main point we want to establish is that this mod is a huge step from 0.3, but is not without errors. Things such as the Trygon Run animation is a bit dodgy, some models still using standins and other weapon upgrades not appearing visually. The Code is solid, but for whatever reason, some visuals havn't made it into this 0.4 release. This mod is intended as a halfway between 0.3 and 0.5. 0.5 Will be hopefully the finished race, and will be complely visually finished. This mod has been polished to the best of our abilities without pushing back the deadline any further. Any issues will be fixed with 0.5 or a subsequent patch. Saying that, we really hope you enjoy it! +HOW DO I CAPTURE STRATEGIC POINTS? Genestealers and Warriors are the ONLY Tyranid unit that can capture strategic points. Will of the Hives are the Tyranid builder units. They are a little like the Eldar builder units, and appear as skull probes +HOW DOES THE TYRANID ECONOMY WORK? Capture Strategic Point and build Spore Towers/Listening Posts (just like other races), you will also need to build lots of Reclamation Pools as these also produce requisition +HOW DO I KNOW WHEN I AM ON A PAR WITH OTHERS RACES RESOURCE OUTPUT? As the Tyranids only have one resource, requisition, as a guide you need to produce 180+ requisition, not the usual 100 or so. +WHAT ARE THE SQUAD AND SUPPORT CAPS? The maximum squad capacity in-game is 30 and the maximum support capacity is 20. To justify the increase in squad cap from the usual 20 to 30, the Tyranids do not have turrets or mines. +HOW DO I INCREASE THE SQUAD OR SUPPORT CAPACITY? By simply building a Hive, the relevant cap will increase by 5, look at the help tool tips. As a guide you should build the following - 4 Hive Node/Troop/Brood Hives – increase squad cap by 5 1 Birthing Sacs/Elite/Warrior Hives – increase squad cap by 5 2 Spawning Chambers/Carnifex/Heavy Hives – increase support cap by 5 1 Mutation Lair – increase support cap by 5 1 Tunnel Warrens/Relic - increase support cap by 5 +HOW DO I DEFEND MY BASE? As the Tyranids you can only defend with your mobile forces, your spawned units. Your base does NO damage to the enemy. However, All your buildings produce an effect called Toxic Miasma. This slows them down and it reduces the enemy’s accuracy. +DO MY BUILDINGS HAVE SYNAPSE AURA? The HQ has Synapse. The Hive Mind would never leave their young without the comfort of their “mother” being present at the “birth”. Synapse provides “Iron Will” (auto rallies your troops) and “Immune to Instant Death” (reduces enemy damage) as per the codex. +WHAT TYRANIDS HAVE SYNAPSE? The Hive Tyrant, Brood Lord, Warriors and Zoanthrope all have the Synapse aura. +WHAT DOES “WITHOUT NUMBER” MEAN? In the Hive Node (Troop Hives the Spinegaunts, Termagaunts, Hormagaunts and Genestealers) at T3 (Tier 3, after the second HQ upgrade) there is another set of 4 identical icons at the bottom of the unit selection box. They have “without number” (WoN) in the top row of the help tool tip. These units are produced at full strength, for example, when spawning a 'without number' Genestealer unit, instead of spawning at a squad size of 2, they will spawn as a full squad of 12. Individually they are cheaper and spawn quicker than units at T1 and T2. Use the “without number” upgrades when you have plenty of resources.
Dark Crusade Pro
and structure of every race has been individually refined to give you guys the most polished DoWpro experience possible. For those who do not know what DoWpro/DCpro is and has been living under the rock, well it is pretty much a gameplay and balance redesign of the DoW games. Aside from the usual inclusion of units, the goal has always been to create a deeper, exciting, and balanced experience for DoW players for any type of DoW gamer may that be from a skirmish master to the hardcore competitive. Interesting? Damn right it is! Go get it!

(Note that this only works when 3 whirlwinds are in close proximity of each other along with the land speeder tornado. A graphic has been made as an indicator to show that the effect is present when the combo is reached); Ork Big Mek gets his 'Super Stikk Bomb' ability back, with far more damage behind it; Ork Tougher bosses research doesn't increase the hitpoints of the Big Mek & Warboss so dramatically; The Cost of a Broadside Battlesuit squad has been heavily increased (again); Broadside Battlesuits no longer need to entrench to fire their railguns (they set-up instead); Tau gun drones can now engage in melee; Big Mek hitpoints have been reduced slightly; Tau commander can now be built from the Tau HQ (requires Kroot nest though); Tau commander has had its power cost increased a lot considering his power; Included the 'City of artrabis," credit goes to Master Z; Added the map "Aridus Prime," made by Flip Hazard.
- Ash

Defending Fann City
established, the enemy must be held back long enough for reinforcements to arrive." "Defending Fann City" is an 8 player city map with military assembly areas on the southern side of a channel and a castle, bunker and LZ on the northern side. I made quite an effort to pay attention to detail in this map - even the castle walls can be used as a firing position! Good for take and hold, with a critical location on each of the 4 bridges crossing the channel. All feedback welcome.
The Emperor Protects
consists of a large bastion a top a mountain. There is one direct route into the fort, this is via a giant causeway. This is large enought to easily hold any attacking force. It is easily defended offering the defenders a lot of cover. There is however a back route into the bulwark allowing for units with the jump ability to lauch small shock attacks. To play this map to it's full potential the player start locations should be set to fixed. The first three players are on top of the hill, the others, 4-8 are spread out below. Because of the size of this map not everyone will be able to handle an eight player game, but it can easily be played on a smaller scale with either 6 or 4 players, even 2, depending on your computer's speed. If playing a 6 player game just turn off the 3rd and 8th slots, a 4 player, 2nd, 3rd, 7th and 8th should be closed. This will maintain the odds and still be a good game.
Hey all, colonial here, judging by the screen shots of this map, this one the nicer maps I've seen, looks like the author put a lot of time into this. (Chaos Proiectiles Removed by a simple misstake!) - Corupption research affect Deamon Prince Resistance. civilians and arbites
strategic points, your men are weak and inaccurate. The more powerful units are capped to help with balance. The civie_hq generates the main requisition and power supply, turrets add a small amount also. Building more hqs and building them in your allies starting zones will help you to consolidate your position. The chimeras and rusted leman russes can make for good armoured columns which pack a good punch whilst your foot troops die in their droves to hold ground but there are always more of them. This mod also works with SoulStorm although it has only been tested this a few times, the only difference being that dead bodies remain glowing purple.
Kronus Gorge
location. The developer says, "This map is probably one of the darkest ones you find. And one more thing, don't look down!"
Assault Renegade Fortress
should know that we left the imperial guard forces to fortify what we thought was a natural fortress... We were gravely mistaken. It appears they have betrayed us! And just after they were resupplied! Our first attack failed. To the northeast we couldnt get out of the forest. While to the west we couldnt take hill 319. You must destroy this heresy before they gain any more support than they already have!" Get the idea? well your going to be against Imperial Guard (with a twist), you can have upto 3 allies with you, and have an additional 3 computers arrayed against you. The map offers two options of attack at the start: Go upwards and fight across the trenches OR try and take the fortified hill overlooking one of the entrances... the choice is yours. The AI wont let either go easily. Personally, the options aren't great but at least fighting up the hill will give you some cover. The computer is scripted to create a multiplayer mission - it has not been fully tested. So report errors if you come across them. Choose your difficulty by destroying the skull probe on multiplayer. Easy - Standard - Hard all have slight variations (Hard has everything, so be prepared!). Very cool map!
Bunker 150
before, no doubt, in various forms, so you'll already know what I'm about to summarise. A large basin containing a derelict city, with the ruins hiding strategic points which can be used for cover as well as various jammy strategies - chokepoints and flanking being my two fave strategies at the moment - and the obvious thing is that it looks quite pretty. There's two ways into the city, depending on where you spawn - through the main gate, or in the relatively unfortified back door. The two different types of the map determine which, something I found rather nice. Choices, choices, etc. Possibly the better aspect of this map is the lack of tank rush capability. Vehicles tend to be too big to maneuver en masse, which is a very welcome element for me. Down with tank rush, up with strategy! :p So, yeah. You get the point. It's a good map. Could be better, but on the flip side it could be far, far worse. I'd personally make the layout a little less neat-and-tidy. A few dead ends, for instance, or some geographical advantages maybe? And definitely a few locations for the cunning commander to spring a trap on his/her oblivious victims. ;) If you liked the other versions, or just want something based in a city, this isn't going to disappoint you. Not by a long stretch. Score one for Pileot. And if the screenshots look truncated... that's because they are. Had to trim them from the funky widescreen dimensions back down to plain ol' 1024x768. Sowwy. ~ Kouen

Crimson Spire 2.0
almost 2 years ago. After a lot of rework and scar work the beta scripted version for DC is availaible today. This map was designed to be play in human vs human game, one player playing inquisitor Lucius and the other player playing the trator inquisitor Elamius and managing his chaotic allies. Each player have several objectives to complete in order to achieve his goal. This map is for DC, a Soulstorm version will be released with the IDH mod for SoulStorm soon.Enjoy and report any feedback. A very impressive map, one of the best designed and one with alot of themes running through it!
Instant Epic Battle Mod
for each race depending on their class. Here is the changelog: Med-Low infantry = 20 Med-High infantry = 15 Commanders = 5 Low Vehicles = 8 High Vehicles = 5 Also, each squad member costs 1 req and power. Note: Due to the possibility of large numbers of units that may appear on screen, this mod is definitely not for the lower end computers that can barely handle Dawn of War. Changes for this version: Fixed Heavy Weapons team bug Orks now have a small buff Players will not run out of resources too soon. And a couple of small fixes here and there Check it out!
Kydno Mod
tweaked every side from the Dark Crusade game. The Necrons now have a new way of approaching the battlefield. If you spawn one unit, that unit can create an entire army...so basically you have your own little regiments. As for the Imperial Gaurd, the author took his own idea from the "Dawn of Suck" mod (Which he is also known as DDman465) and kind of gave it a little kick in this one. Also, not to spoil anything but the Space Marines have a new unit called the "The Emperor"...interesting right? The author uses Corsix Mod Studio at the moment, and asks if anyone knows of another modding program please tell me. Check it out!

Adeptus Collection
for each race, so the community can download which parts they want. Adeptus Imperium (my first release which you are hosting) has been split up into Adeptus Marines & Adeptus Guard. if u wish to remove or cross out that version that would be fine by me. Adeptus Maximus is all 7 mods compiled into 1 file for people who want the full on experiance.
The eighth file is the \"whole package\". This I think is a must download (even if just to try it out). I get the feeling a lot of work has gone into this project, and it stands to reason. ;) - SSA

Rise to Mahdo
contains 5 strategic points, 2 relics and quite close to the border of the trench section are 3 critical locations. The trench section starts with beach fortifications those contain 4 strategic points. Rest of the section has 6 strategic points. Finally the jungle base section, which contains 4 strategic points, 2 relics and 2 slag deposits. The map has lots of cover (trenches and craters) and obstacles (for example tank barriers and barbed wire). Trenches are generally made for infantry but smallest vehicles, such as landspeeders, are able to use them as well. Larger vehicles must use the "drive-way" through the middle.
Arrakis - Tears of Shai Hulud
staff. It had just a few minor issues which were spotted by Jaguar Lord which Redeemed74 has attempted to correct and now is released for all to enjoy. It has plenty of custom decals and is a very good map as long as you don't have a weak stomach! Original Description by Demonic Badger: Well, here is a new map I made in the Dune universe. In Arrakis (6), I was pondering how I could incorporate a sandworm into the map, and in this map, I not only put a worm in, I made it so you can run on top of it and inside it (eww). I also wanted the map to be asymmetric, so I made one side Fremen with rocky natural formations, and a Harkonnen side which is industrial and has slaves and huge pipe networks. I am not sure if I balanced it good enough for both sides but if anyone has any complaints, I will change it in another version. I also thought it would be interesting to have the Hakonnen side have defense turrets and soldiers. Of course they are all neutral. Sometimes the imperial guard troops look like they have had too much caffeine and will spasm at anyone who comes near, also the bolter turrets will stare suspiciously at anything that walks, drives, or stomps by. I made some really steep dunes for vehicle ramping action and they seem to work well.It may play kind of slowly, I did my best to improve performance, though it may play slightly jittery. I hope you enjoy it, I have been working on this for a week and I have spent many hours on it!
Arctic_Swirl.zip
spiraling trails that gives a large map a feeling of one that is twice its size. Customized SCAR coding gives supernatural power to whoever manages to keep the central point, but watch out for deadly cold pools of liquid oxygen! Excellent for Free for All competitions, but also decent for team based matches, I hope that this is a scenario well worth the download.
Brotherhood of Steel Badges and Banners
feel free to voice your opinions I'm sure they'll be greatly appreciated.
Imperial Guard advance trooper
the assassin, I have had some fun playing this mod, sending teams of assassin powered squads to butcher my opponents.. The lasguns appear to be animated too, that's a nice touch, though they are a little overpowered imo.. There are other little tweaks which should've been default, and make this well worth a play - Mikey
Legion of the Damned Campaign Skin
feature predominantly black units, completed by flames and skulls (very cool  ) Overall a good pack, hope you enjoy playing it as much as we did testing it and the author did making it.
DC 71st Cadian Campaign Color Switch

The Old City
realistic layout. It's large, as you may have guessed, but even for a six-player map you'll never run out of room. Master Z mentions how much time was spent on tweaking the aesthetic aspects, and it shows that the time was well-spent. The decal usage is down to a tee, and there are several places where I could recognise extremely different decals used together to produce the effect of a "combo decal", of sorts - one or two of these combos seem a little unorthodox, but they're used very well. It looks great, bottom line. You'll have a lot of fun sending your armies trampling through the ruins in search of your enemies, that's for sure. Many areas of the map will also grant tactical elements to the fight; obviously, cover and high ground are important, but I spy several areas where I would love to bait an enemy and then ambush with a stealth/artillery strike. Oh yeah, there's some nice killing alleys alright.... My only regret, is that DoW doesn't have any form of trebuchet. A siege just ain't a siege without a trebuchet, y'know. ~Kouen
Mobilize for War
trouble with file posting a while back so it sort of got pushed to the side! Anyway highly recommend this mod but unfortunately there was no Screenies supplied but don't let that stop you from downloading this great mod! ~Gaffer

Dawn of War Fortress
Nid and Gaffer are ok?). Anyway, Im very glad to see a mod like this, and hope to see more from the miraculous Fuggles in the future. - jack051093 P.S. - 1. Don't worry about copying the DXP2 folder over your original one, it only puts some maps in, it won't break online play. - 2. Once the proper thing is here (not the alpha release), maybe we could organise some games of this?
Angry Marines
some for your Chaos (to make them even more evil and sadistic). A fairly nice collection, and the pictures go well with the file. :) - Ash (Tycoon)
Serpent Druids Part 6
Druids, these seek to annihilate the forces of evil and any other those who possess the potential to join them. There are several key points most of the visual graphics have been taken from existing races so there isn\'t anything really that new, well except for there being a new race and an interesting story to go with it. Unfortunately there is no AI for this race as they will just sit dormant or inactive if selected as an AI. The Serpent Druids have powerful weapons and tide changing abilities however they are weak armoured and slow moving which balances it out (see the readme for more) This is File 6 of 6, you will need all of the six files for this to work correctly.

Adonis Prime
map for DoW: Dark Crusade. It will not work in WA or DoW. It can be used for 4v4 or 2v2v2v2 games, take+hold and Control area supported and recommended. The map is set in a Necron ruin, so don't even expect any living things like trees or bushes since Necrons like their places dead or lifeless - which is a very nice touch i must say. The environment certainly does deliver what it is suppose be, which is really great and it captures the mood. The map is balanced and laid out quite nicely. I strongly recommend this for a download, especially if you like 8 player maps with massive battles - trust me...its really fun :) -Slash
Mountain Sanctum
the same route. Overall , it looks good so if your interested i suggest you download it! -Slash

Adeptus Imperium v1.0
like a pretty solid mod. Also i do not want people to bash this mod like that other necron monolith mod, if you dont like the mod then do not make negative comment, unless you have suggestions or positive feedback. -Slash
Thur\'Abis Entrance
with Take and Hold for defense or just with the basic destruction rules for offense. There are 6 entrances to catacombs, some of which are large enough for even bigger vehicles (dreadnoughts and predators for example). The map has 3 relics those are inside the catacombs, which might make the creating of relic units hard. There are 3 critical locations outside the catacombs. The 2 slag deposits are also inside the catacombs. You all have 3 strategic points, use them wisely.
Capitol_Defense
of the survival maps, this scenario takes Dawn of War to new heights as you must mount both a strong defence and offence in order to win. It is highly customizable allowing you to play as and against any standard races, and is compatible with a large number of mods. Complete with custom decals, ingame audio, an intro camera tour and plenty of complex scar coding, this is one scenario you will want to try!
2p) Heresy of Chaos vs Space Marine full
the enemy also has access to advanced powerful weapons from the start, especially weapons of titan and very powerful characters. Its an improvement but still lacks that x factor that would make it stand out!
Assault on fortress
deamons in the form of Chaos marines while trying to fight metre by metre to gain control of some backwater fortress before the ruinous powers of Chaos complete a omplete a blasphemic ritual and save the Imperium of man in the name of the Emperor! It is suposed to be played with LOTW mod but there is no problem in trying it with the original DoW DC. Note: This is an unfinished map asking for help to be completed and become what it is meant to be.
7p_Ores_Tashn
features a beautiful sky theme which goes well with the overall map theme. Strategic points are scattered across the map in well thought trough places. Resources are plenty and should allow for major battles between the clans. This map is definetly worth the download. Map reviewed by ~Crazykenny
The Last Palace
etc are littered throughout the map to give that warn torn city look; and coupled with custom decals, it just adds more to the experience. There are lots of open spaces, which is great for vehicles to travel in and there are cover here and there for infantry to gain some bonus's from. There is also a solid amount of points to keep players economy up for epic battles that can rage across the map. Try it out your self ;)
1st Imperial Elite - The Crossing
there's plenty of cover around the map. The Backdoor to the enemy base can be penetrated by infantry but its also heavily guarded. The Second entrance(the blown bridge) is for teleport/ jump troops. The Main Entrance(with the sealed door) is for tanks. Each entrance is defended in different ways(though the main entrance is easily penetrable when enemy troops choose the back door) You also have little island for your snipers. It is, however, prone to jump troop retaliation. Your main entrance(opposite of the enemy's) has a bunker with heavy cover. It's the best place to mass your troops but also the worst place(remember Alien Resurrection when the Alien gets in the drop pod with the escaping unarmed marines?) Please leave CONSTRUCTIVE comments(don't give one about the minimap because I don't plan to make one)
Orky_Olympics
their constant battling turned into loosely organized contests. Every aspiring slugga boy dreams of becoming a mighty WarBoss although the chances of that are very, very slim. But some show that they have brains as well as brawn, and the ability to guide in battle and predict the outcome of conflicts became almost as prized as brute force. A new series of battle games were created where potential leaders were given a chance to become the next mighty Warboss. GamePlay: The way to grow from a slugga into a WarBoss is to lead your boyz to win battles and, even if they loose, rightly predict who the winner will be in each conflict. Successive losses and wrong guesses can reduce you to a Grot! At the start of every round look over the contestants carefully. Move your boss unit to the starting area of the squad you believe will win, just as the other wannabe WarBosses do. If they get stuck trying to get somewhere, use your Looted Tank to “strike ground” where they stand. That'll get 'em movin! When everyone has made their bets, the contestants move out for battle (sometimes harassed by the onlookers' tanks). In position? Go! The fights are often short and always furious. A stalemate is booed by the onlooker's tanks and can be fatal for all contestants. The winner of the round can keep his surviving force in his ever growing army. Round after round is played, each time with random units until the final Waagh. Then you must join your boyz in a fight to the finish – may the best Nob win! Ready fer stompin? This scenario uses EZScar programming to change the normal way Dawn Of War functions. There is no point taking, base building or squad making. All your units come via the script. It is a fun game, challenging both to the thinker as well as the action lover, and serves as an example of the extent that EZScar can be used by the mapping community to make extraordinary scenarios.
Battle By the Bricks
like a cathedrallychurchthingymobob factories, you know, the works. Its 4v4 with Imperial Guard & Space marines vs Tau, but I'm sure you'll just pick whatever team you want anyway... the town is fairly run down, but its not one huge rubble pile, yet... changelog, what I can tell you is that this looks much better. Can\'t quite put my finger on it, maybe it\'s the DPI of the texture images, maybe it\'s just a better texturing job than the half-arsed effort Relic put forward, but you gt my drift. It\'s a nice little reskin. Personally I don\'t see myself using it because I never spend much time admiring my units up close, so it would have no use for me I\'m afraid... but someone out there will like this, possibly for screenshots, possibly just to make the game more of a visual treat. So, enjoy. ~ Kouen

Ira Aduro Avatar
armor this particular specimen is encased in, I\'m surprised the flames are as controlled as they appear to be. But anyway, this reskin takes a whole different approach to said Avatar. Fire is still a prevalent theme, but it\'s more heavily armored and textured in a theme that is rather comparable to ancient Asian mythos. Whereas the vanilla Avatar is dark and moody, this version appears more like a knight of sorts, as you\'d expect from a \"good\" god (if you can even label anyone in the WH40k universe as the \"good guys\"). Few things have been left alone - the readme sums it all up pretty well. Personally, I think it\'s a vast improvement, and the shaders really improve the skin over what it would have been had it just been a simple retexture. As I\'ve said many times on JediKnightFiles, the shader doesn\'t make the skin... but it sure as hell doesn\'t hurt, either. It\'s very rare I actually see glow shaders used effectively on specific parts of a model; it\'s not exactly an easy task, although I suppose that really depends on the tools you use. The last file I got my mitts on where the glow shader was a blessing rather than a curse (in my eyes, anyway), was Scerendo\'s Shadow Trooper for Jedi Knight 3, back in \'06. But that\'s enough rambling, and I think I\'ve gone on far too long about nostalgic crap which isn\'t all that relevant. One last opinion I would like to express. I like swords. But I really like this guy\'s sword. In my book, this one\'s a keeper. But, like it or loathe it, one thing is for sure. It\'s a quality skin. ~ Kouen

locations. In addition, they give the players a rather interesting experiance, all of which look outstanding (except maybe, the very plain Eldar starting location) ;) My only quibble would be the lack of terrain around the middle, and between the starting points, but not something to spoil a game. Each of these settings has a unique feature to them, and is well suited to the specific race. I'd have to encourage viewers to download, and try this one out. Sure looks fun. :) - Ash

4 Way
map that has four coroners and an urban city middle. the four corners are desert, woods, jungle, and snow. the size is in between 256 and 512. Just right for 4 player FFAs. there are 4 critical locations, a relic in the middle, and each player has 5 strategic points (1 of which you might have to fight for) Enjoy -------------- Great Map when played against human opponents on FFA or 2 vs 2. Brilliant textures and Decent map size make this a good hour and a half playing time average. Perfect for Eldar as there are millions of spots to warp in to and build base, and the "top" two quadrants are more sutied to Space Marines, Chaos and Tau. All in all a fun map. ~MM

City 2
which provides some great locations for intense street fighting. Vehicles have a small portion of the city and the cities outskirts to travel through, this however makes them susceptible to ambushes and getting bogged down in certain areas. Infantry are given lots of cover but smaller squads will be able to use this to their advantage as its harder to spot a small squad crawling through and under heavy building cover. Heavy cover is near vehicle wrecks, sandbags and inside buildings/structures so plenty of potential for ambushes and defensive rally points. Most of the light cover is near tank traps and outside of buildings but this provides the best area to mobilize units. Each team starts with a veteran Kasrkrin Squad which is useful for capturing unclaimed points along the map. This squad is a small elite four man squad with long range, mobility, and grenades but they can't be respawned if killed so use them wisely for hit and run attacks. There are several strategic points dotted around the map but only two relics and one critical location. - IKS
The City
street to street dogfighting which is absolutely great to watch at lower camera angles. This is a very urban setting with lots of cover around and map objects cramped into the map to obstruct fire and movement. Overpasses and hanging butresses on buildings will obscure your strategic view of the battlefield so you have to get in close on the ground with a tight camera angle to direct some units hidden from view. Fighting is intense and very close quarters, so quick movement of units is important. Due to the intensity of the firefighting there are alot of explosions and weapons FX in this map so people with lower rig computers might struggle to play this cleanly. Reminscent of many city urban warfare scenes in many games and films this is an interesting map with spot on item placement. - IKS
Cataclysm
convincing Tau base. This map is designed for two versus two games, as opponents are placed facing their opposites. The map features more closed spaces, and less open spaces, thus players have to adopt tactics that suits the environment of the map. Check it out!

atmosphere is well done. Four players start from the corners, and are supplied with three strategic points with 4 critical points near the river. Players will have to fight for two relics that are located in the river. Interested? Go for it!

Catastrophe Cavern
after a series of nuclear detonations on the desolate planet of Gyther had indicated a vast subterranean cavern. Kurn revisited the planet and conducted a number of apparently inconclusive experiments, after which he abruptly terminated the investigation. But deciphering his journal showed that the studies had actually revealed the deep the underground caverns to be filled with priceless viadid crystals. As the irreproducible jewels became scarce throughout the explored galaxy the Imperial Techpriests had to substitute inferior gems in all but the most powerful cannons. It was hard to imagine why the notably wise and loyal scholar would have kept hidden such an important discovery, but Inquisitor Janis, who oversaw the investigation, was quick to condemn Kurn and ordered the execution of all his students at the academy. The information was supposed to remain classified until the crystals could be safely extracted, but it is rumored that one of Janis' close associates sold the whereabouts to warring powers and a virtual race for the jewels ensued! Reluctant alliances formed between otherwise rival factions to ensure that their mortal enemies would not get their hands on the jewels first. Now an orbiting radio-particulator is positioned to translocate your troops into the depths of the cavern. You must secure it for the mining crews and equipment, however a cluster of unidentifiable starships is detected on the far side of the planet! Obviously other races have arrived at the same time, and will fight to keep the crystals to themselves. A bitter war will be fought in the depths of these mysterious caverns, with only one side victorious. You notice the whispers among your troops of fabled ghostly guardians watching over their treasures, but nothing must be allowed to daunt you. This is your chance for wealth and glory beyond your wildest dreams, to prove your worth and show your enemies no mercy! Gameplay: Taking Relics and Critical Locations gives you extra squads and vehicles. Taking and holding all of the Critical Locations gives your team power beyond your imagination! Beware - the end does not always justify the means... Have fun gaming! Catastrophe Caverns is a 4 vs. 4 game that uses EZScar to give "gifts" when points are taken. It is a large map with tunnels that can help speed the process of getting troops across the map.
-colonialhockey10
Dark Fortress
take at all costs is daunting. The fortress is bristling with well-manned defenses. It is obvious that the opposing force has been given the same mandate: defend at all cost! They too will have unlimited resources, and many, many entrenched bases from which to attack. There are few locations to dig in and hope you can survive. No, the only way to conquer the dark fortress will be to attack and attack again. A roadway paved with the bodies of friend and foe alike is the only thing one can be sure of. But with cunning, courage, and carnage, perhaps the battle can be won. Dark Fortress is a multiplayer scenario where you attack a fortress defended by a well-entrenched foe. You can have up to 4 Human players vs the computer opponent. As you add human players, the map will automatically adjust the difficulty of the AI (giving them more troops), ensuring the game is always a fun struggle for survival. This game is the equivalent of attacking 9 different bases, each base having up to three well resourced players. Luckily, you do not have to face all their forces at one time. The beginning of the game gives you ample time to prepare your forces. Destroying the pitiful band of patrolling orks will start the first wave. And, just to give you a fighting chance, there will be a breather between the first wave and the second, again waiting for you to destroy a ragged ork band to start the next wave. But, take a deep breath before attacking that band. Once they are gone, you will not have a moment's rest until you have destroyed all the rest of the well-defended bases. This map is generated using EZScar, a simple scar engine that takes most of the difficulty out of generating singleplayer or multi-player games. You can easily create triggered events (take a point, give a squiggoth), actions (Orks patrolling along a set path), guns firing, keep people from entering areas before they have accomplished tasks, and many other things. This file is identical to the soulstorm version, but because filefront does not have ways to categorize one file with multiple games, I have submited it multiple times.
Well I must admit, this does look and sound really good. Some of the screens make it look pretty blank in places, but the playability of this map more then makes up for it. Recommend a download. - Heretic/Abbadon
Multi-Factional Unit Caps
"attrib" mod (probably), and no other changes were made. if you have any questions or other things just send them unto . the readme.txt file goes into details about what i've meant by this small m o d. its not (not at all) anything great by coding standards, just possibly useful.
It's a simple min mod that edits the population cap, to make battles seem bigger. Looks ok to me. - Heretic/Abbadon

2p_Necron Temple
be found on this map as its a necron style map - necrons dont suffure from negative cover and dont gain cover bonuses. Below the surface of rock and earth lays a Temple worshipped by \"the army of Death\", the Necrons. Each millennia the Necrons awake, swarming like locust as they feed of all the energy that drives them produced by this temple. The dark shade of green glows through the caverns and catercombes as the Necons rise once more.
Gallonigher\'s Horror of Tzeentch
the pink, as can be seen by looking closely. They\'re not that obvious though, which is good, I guess. Even without the details, this thing still looks freaky. It\'s like.... it\'s been turned inside out. Definitely lives up to it\'s name. I\'m gonna move on now, because this thing makes me feel uneasy. Just bear in mind if you use it, that there may be some online issues, as Gallonigher mentions. ~Kouen
Badges & Banners Pack
to the usual DoWFiles email address with \"ATTN: Kouen\" in the subject field, and I\'ll fix it ASAP. Anyway, this is decent pack of badges and banners. Soviet Union, some Orkish banners, a rather cool gear badge, something that looks like a snake trying to eat itself, and oh yeah, a pile of skulls with a winged sword. They all look perfectly Warhammery. Except the clown - that just freaks me out. They didn\'t all show on my list, which was kinda weird, but maybe I just have too damn many badges and banners installed. Still, they\'re keepers from the looks of things, so yeah. Not a bad little pack. ~ Kouen
Zhou Kai Servitor
course. Aside from having an anime-esque style, the dude almost looks normal now. The focus has shifted away from the semi-mutant theme which seems prevalent with the Space Marines, and Mr Servitor seems a lot more like an average Joe in a big cybernetic suit. The new eyepiece is the most noticeable addition, but what\'s better is that the Servitor is now more customisable in the Army Painter, and displays it\'s team colors in a much more obvious manner. Other than that, just a few minor tweaks that overall make the guy less creepy. As Zhou Kai states in the readme, feedback and ideas are always welcome, so offer some up, eh? ;) ~ Kouen

Over the River
this map can hold eight players, and has a fairly nice pace about it, not being too crowded, but at the same time, not being open. - Ash
Into The Breach
is an eight player map, which is connected to Death. Not everyday you see that many dead bodies in a crater. There are also some campaign objects around and about too (such as the Eldar Webway) which add to the sight seeing when trying to get them wonderful screenshots. ;) I\'ve no doubt this map will appeal to Chaos fans though, it fits right in with them. - Ash (Tycoon)
Arx Hibernia
playing Football amuses me, though as does it with any other W40k Faction. Anyway, as said, this is based in a city, has a river, some grass, and a nice spaceport (at least, I believe that is what it is suppose to be). There are some additional structures around too, which could be though of as suburbs. Anyhow, a good map here, one that would be good for eight player games, and cityfights. :) - Ash (Tycoon)

Snowy Stream
with islands and cover and the whole 9 yards, just like its predecessor, Tears and Triumph. It is a 1v1, 256x256, 3 strategic points in each base, 2 in the river, 2 critical locations, and 1 relic in the middle, but the placement of the strategic points is different from T&T and the bases are closer too. There is also a land bridge between them for safe passage and a quick rush, and this has the relic, but to get the 2 contested strategic locations and 2 contested critical locations, you need to go into the river.
That\'s all the info you need really, it\'s a very nice map, with a lot of effort put into it. I reccomend a download for this map, as it will certainly support the pair of map-makers. -Guzzy.
Ork Screensaver

fun to play. Note: Follow the readme files instructions very carefully to get the map working, or you will get an error which means the map has failed to work. I recommend this for a download. -Slash
Mountain of Sin
high?
Based on what i see from the screenshots, the map looks pretty solid i especially like the mountainous theme going on. I suggest you give this map a go and see for your self. ;) Also this is the authors first map, so feedback is very important!
Taunology
base, so thats a real plus! Overall everything is great, except that a custom minimap is missing and a default one is placed - although its a minor problem. Interested enough? Go and download it! -Slash
The Forgotten Castle
worth a download! Also, this map is Winter Assault compatible too, so for all you people who just have Winter Assault....don't feel left out, you can enjoy this map too! -Slash
Dulce et Decorum
excellent job has been done, just look at the ReadMe. More details can be found there, but I\'d give this a solid 10/10 ;)
Annihilation Mod
army leaders to purchase the wargear upgrades from the campaign in skirmish! That is not nearly all this mod does however, and from adding Inquisitor Toth to raising unit limits, this one is a fun thing to play! Check out the readme for more in-depth detail.
Gabriel Angleos in Dark Crusade texture/sound pack
original as well, and restore his old voice. What\'s more, the old Nob and Chaos Sorceror voices are back too! Two versions of the Force Commander are there for you to choose from, pre 1.4 with Gold Armor, adn the post 1.4 with more teamcolour.
Jungle walls
here. this map includes defenses controlled only by player one. left by defeated imperial guard. this is also my first map hopefully you like it and please comment to tell me of any thoughts. please confer with me if editing my map.
Marks of the Legion
there\'s also a broken bridge which enables harassing the opponents base, somewhat. There is some tactical cover, mainly in craters. Map is almost symmetrical so it should be quite a fair fight. (Designed to be played as Space Marines vs Chaos.) Space to build should be sufficient for such a small map. Enjoy.
Twer\'s Backwoods
geographically, but all the strategic positions are in same positions for each player. Each player has 3 strategic locations within their perimeter. Between each opponent pair is 1 critical location and between them are 2 relics. There are also 2 slag deposits.
Veteran Mod 3 Chaos Demo
DEMO is brought to you by. Possessed of three types of units available. Normal, Veteran, and a champion. New secret unit! A Unique Hero. Quite expensive 2000 requisition & power + 5 squad & 1 vehicle cap.\" So here is Veteran mod, however it\'s only demo. So you only have access to the possessed squad it goes normal Veteran and Champion. Just like in the single player. However my issue is that I wish you would have told us which race you added these into sense there is like 6 races which as you can tell quite hard for someone review your demo mod. However that being said I look forward to playing the full Version of the demo.
Sins of the Father (Skirmish Edit)
but hey not bad for a a first go at mapping. Lots of Strat points for you all to fight over.
Oderas Valley
crossing in the middle which is also position for the relic. There's lots of space to build, but passages are quite narrow making it difficult for large units to get through.
Boramus
1 Relic. The map is relatively symmetrical so there are no notable advantages for any player. Also attached: - Some screen-shots of actual game-play and Overview of the entire map - Files related to maps display. - ReadMe textfile
Defence Of Forward
funfactor, and a 6 for tech. The map is a bit unbalanced, as one of the players gets a little setback due to the design of the map. And oh, might want to keep this page open, as there is no read-me or installation instructions in the file.
Necrontyr Depths
map features pre-placed Necron structures so it would be recommended to play as the Necrons for this skirmish. After a quick play test, it can be seen that this map lacks detail even though it is set on a Necron catacomb; however, this is excused since this is the author's second map. Constructive criticism is welcomed for the new mapper! Check it out!
RAR.
makes it more hard. For best effect set AI to insane and chose Chaos as your opponent and either you'll lose in the first 2 mins or you will survive the whole game..

Jungle Assualt: The Aftermath
Standard difficulty level. Here's a little description of my map: After the battle that occurred centuries ago over the critical location in No Man's land, the ecosystem started to recover. On one side of No Man's land, the lush jungles started to regrow at a very rapid rate, soon engulfing the ruins of the battle. On the other side, things were a little different. The damage on the other side was so extensive that the jungles could not regrow there. Instead, a desert wasteland was born to replace the jungles. There is nothing but rocks and sand. Each side starts of with a kaskrin squad and a chimera to start things early. Trust me, after a few minutes have passed things will start to get more intense. The map is best played on 3v3 with starting positions set on fixed. For multi-player, all players need the map to play.
3p_Heretics_Pass
enough rambling! I can see you put alot of effort into this map and I'm sure the Warhammer DOW community will love it as I did. I saw no issues with the map, your placement of the req spots are well done and I have a hellva time holding them form my friends. Seems I'm a turtle according to them. This map is worthy of being my top favorites well done sir well done. Bonus too you can use this for DC and SS good job.
Black Desert 6p (Refurb)
completely re-skinned it, adding textures etc. As well as defining it's name more by making one half of the map a 'Black Desert' with the other side remaining a truer desert. If you download the original, you'll see just how much i have done, as other than the shape of the map, it's completely different. Just about every bit of detail was my doing, and this map should be considered seperate to the old one by all accounts. This is my first map, so constructive criticisms are overly welcome. I understand that the desert half of the map may seem a bit boring, in the sense that for the most part it's sand upon sand, with some details added etc. However this is supposed to be this way, as it makes it a more true desert i think.
To The Trenches! (6P)
it look professionally done. Just the right ratio of negative to positive cover areas, and clearly defined base camp areas, not too many SP's and maybe one too many relics. There were some parts during gameplay where my army couldn't reach a certain part of the map due to an unseen object, but these are minor issues, as I was still able to get around them. Some great gameplay, if those "invisible" objects bugs were fixed, this map would be great, and even with this "bug", It wasn't too bad, and I found sometimes it worked to my advantage, not that it happened often, on the ratings scale, I rated it between 8/10, worth the download and play, I'd imagine it is even better on multiplayer. The included loadings were also a nice touch... Be sure to create a loading folder. -Mikey
VoST_SCARs
conditions make massacre more atmospheric, but can be used separately or in conjunction with this map. With some new content, such as the new marine voice sounds (very nice job) which mixes very well with the default content, this mod is overall a good play, and well worth the download! It's worth reading the readme for more details on the win rules and conditions, to fully understand them, the author has included a very detailed readme for this purpose ;) - Mikey
Tanith First And Only Badge & Banner

Portable Bomb Mod
not interfere with other mods as it uses its own building, research and icons.
Demo Campaign, Take Hyperion Peaks
mission is timed, and depending on the player's success with completing the objectives, he will have more or less units available for the following mission. The second mission is an adaptation of the scripted "Hyperion Peaks" critical location mission of the DC meta-map campaign. In this demo, you will always control the Eldar, and you will always fight the Orks. ("Deh Eldar break eazzy!") Other races maybe be implemented in the future, if there's demand.
Block Raid
players must try to harass the other player to hurt their economy as there are a wealth of points to capture. This map also features some open spaces, so you hopefully won't get much vehicle - infantry path finding problems. Overall, this map is solid, however I do have some points that should be said; some of the strategic points are placed awkwardly on the map, and don't give the illusion of strategic importance of the place, the map is pretty flat, and mainly the map looks unfinished as the outskirts of the map have little to no objects/decals/details in them. Check it out!
The Trenches Redug
defenders. Each trench also has access points for attackers to enter in, thus making those points highly valuable. However, in the middle trench lies a relic point which must be a priority for both players to capture in order to bring in their high tech units, thus it is advised to make a rush for that point by whatever means necessary (turret rush works wonders). This map is pretty straight forward, just as what you would expect from a trench warfare style map; however, this makes playing the Imperial Guard a trill as they are a defensive race to begin with (not to mention their vehicles!). Although it is a solid map, what this map lacks is the options for strategies for players to use, as players must fight and slug their way to the enemy, making long and somewhat dull battles. Overall it's a nicely designed map with nice details and very good gameplay. Note - Mod Creator recommends the Steel Legion Mod to get the best out of this map. Check it out!
City 2
units, and a reasonable resistant. They cannot be replaced if they die. Cover is abundant here. Heavy cover is near vehicle wrecks, sandbags and inside buildings. Light cover is near tank traps and outside of buildings. This version has varied textures, more cover and detailed buildings/objects around the map. Some objects block paths so theres use of paths that were neglected before. I have also added a clump of slag deposits for team 3 because they seemed to have disadvantages against the other 2 teams. I am not aware of any balance issues but please post comments on any that you find Recommended for 2v2v2 games Enjoy!
Streets of Magerion (Night Version)
Soulstorm version, use this one - the Relics and SPs will be right where they should be. Streets of Magerion is an 8 player map that takes place in an urban area. This map is designed for 4 teams. One think that is pretty cool is most buildings in the map are "garrison able". What this means is that while it is not true garrisoning, basically units can physically get in and out or go up to the roof of buildings which have defense cover bonuses and such. This map heavily emphasizes on street to street combat which can be quiet cool when playing as the Imperial Guard since they are a defensive race to begin with. The map itself is nicely constructed, with scores of buildings littered across the map this ensures that every player has a chance to use garrisons, and to me it actually feels like the only map that captures street to street combat, but that is just me. Check it out!
Terminus Est
The Terminus Est is a part of Nurgle’s realm given license to travel the stars, spreading death at the behest of its damned captain. Terminus Est is a 2v2 1024x512 Skirmish map. It's... unique.. yeah, we'll go with that. It's made to look like a battleship. This would be why there are multiple ares with visual obstuction. It's not going to be the most playable map in the world, but hey it's pretty to look at. Or rather, it's not pretty to look at.. because it's filled with filth & rot & boogers &... Nurgle. I've play-tested it multiple times & there are very few chokepoints, works fine for 2v2 PvP or Comp-stomp.
Ymgarl Dunes
Relics, and 6 Slag deposits. The map is very open with a large open area in the centre of the map which results in alot of straight shoot'em up battles. The very open and wide areas with multiple strategic points around the bases make for better defenses. A very high income map made for very large and long-lasting games! Cover is light while the sand is pretty light on the ground. An interesting map with good gameplay, definitely worth checking out! - IKS
Chaos Home World
meteorites. There are start locations for 4 players but this map is pretty good played as a two player map because lack of effective cover and the lack of significant map objects make it easy to move through the map. Of the four starting locations two (3 & 4) are easy-to-defend yet hard to attack bases while the other two (1 & 2) are tighly enclosed areas making it tough to build a large base in one location. The map also contains blood rivers and a floating daemon head. The meteorites are a really nice touch and add a cool atmosphere to the whole battleground - a strange but interesting map worthy of download! - IKS
The Trenches
coverage. In order to access each trench there are entry points in the walls of the trenches, both "starting base" trenches have two entrances via no man's land and an entrance at the back of the trench leading to more wasteland. These areas to the back of the trenches are good for rallying an offensive force there, it also provides you with the necessary space to build up your base away from the battleground. The third trench is a contested neutral trench with four entry points. The position of these points would have been better if they were on opposing ends of the trench instead of directly across from each other forcing armies to traverse the length of the trench to attack enemy positions. These entrances act as choke points so effectively who ever holds and defends them has the best chance of victory. The wasteland/No man's land between the trenches are pretty straight forward, lots of craters, light cover and open ground so moving through them fast is imperative. Strategic/Critical points are located in the starting trenches with one Relic in the centre trench. Overall it's a nicely designed map with nice details and very good gameplay. Note - Mod Creator recommends the Steel Legion Mod to get the best out of this map. - IKS
Tau united mod
The flames are stronger in the Fire warrior, the buildings are faster to create (1hp and quite hard to destroy). Also the Tau Commander is stronger. There are a few other tidbits of updates with the Tau included but its still a nice mod for a first time. - IKS
Chaos Assault - Survival Map
ranging from pitiful cultists to masses of demons and chaos warriors, each wave more intense than the rest. With the help of the Demonhunters Grey Knights' and a 'land raider' who are walking around supporting your troops you and your imperial guardsmen are into a pretty long and harsh battle! Since this is my first survival map please give me feedback on what to do to improve it. *FLUFF* The Chaos gates that once held back the warp spawn of chaos are now becoming weak, soon they will be a gateway between the warp and the material world. The imperial guard that have long watched over these gates have rallied their forces and with the help of Inquisitor Toth and his demonhunters they plan to defeat the chaos forces and seal off the warp for good...

Fire at the Grand Cathedral
bombardment of warp gates placed inside cathedral. Bombardment uncovered great warmachine hidden by cathedral constructors in catacombs under Cathedral. Titan Dominatus itself and it's machine spirit is pure. Battle begins once again...
Fire at the Grand Cathedral is 4 player map that is based in a tainted urban environment. The map features numerous amounts of details, with decals and objects used greatly and correctly, this map certainly does give the feel of a tainted chaos environment. The atmosphere is also done right, giving it that extra impression on the environment. Each player starts at each corner of the map, whilst a grand Cathedral stands in the middle - which has a relic point. The map also features a solid amount of points for players to capture, thus ensuing a nice flow of resources to be spent on. Check it out!

Lost At Sea
the poor the guy in the middle. This map features lots of open spaces, and water...lots of it; while it is not bad thing, it actually adds a nice visual eye candy to the map since the fog nicely blends in to all the other details. You can expect a strong economy in this map as there are 16 strategic, 8 critical, and 4 relic points located on the map. So, if you like what your reading, then it is a definite recommend to download!

notice the flag texture shown on the banner isn’t in the screen shot, I have improved it sense said screen shot (the banner in the black box is what you’re getting). In the likely event that my first shot at HTML code didn’t work and there is no image the Badge is a sun rising over a hill with a color scheme fading form red to yellow, the banner is the same sun imagine in black rising over a black skull with a pair of Greek letters in the lower corners, this is set on a crease textured back ground which fades from red to yellow. under attack! The imperium wants this chaos lord killed as quickly as possible and decide to send in an assassin whilst such juicy bait is in the open, however it is of key importance that the force commander survives! Your mouse pointer generates line of sight, so your job is to sweep the map looking for the enemy commanders, at which point you can use your assassin to pop them. In the meantime, do keep an eye on those marines.... Numbered shortcut groups are a must here!
Antigus_Cathedral_City
centre piece of Cathedral City, with its once shining spires and outlying Naves, chapter houses, clerical houses and refectorys. Now in ruins, with relics scattered across the city waiting to be claimed and used to demorolise the enemy.
Combat Complete Beta1
and Chaos only. The idea is for people to give feedback to see if its a worth while mod.
2p_silent_woods
Republic Commando a few days ago everything reminds me of something from Star Wars. *ahem* Okay. So. I don\'t think I need to point out all the decals, and that they\'re set out in a natural-looking way, because you can see that for yourselves right below. What I will say, is that for a battlefield, it\'s too clean and tidy. Throw some debris decals in there, maybe, and a little destruction for warfare\'s sake. ;) At first the map seemed plenty spacious for just two players, but then it started to feel cramped as the game pressed on. The strategic points are spaced out quite well, there\'s nothing that makes gameplay particularly frustrating, etc. Overall rather simple, looks decent, plays pretty good. There\'s room for improvement but personally, at this stage I think Reaper279 should look more at practice and experimentation. Getting familiarity and proficiency with the editing software is usually a good thing to do before asking for design tips, since naturally you\'ll be able to utilise such tips better if you know the software better. So, bottom line is, keep at it! Also... two new mappers in a row? Wootcakes. ~ Kouen
Testcake
single lone relic as the tactical focus. Again the relic is singular, and again it\'s going to be a major power struggle to take it and hold it - and to capture it if you lose it. \"Surrounded by negative cover\" is an understatement, the are around the central relic is likely the most vulnerable point on the map for your units. My suggestion? Artillery. As for the rest of the map, well, I think there\'s not much to say about it. The whole thing plays rather generic, except as a break from the norm there really isn\'t that much solid ground. Bases will be a tight squeeze, so base defense won\'t really be too practical. Hmm, what else... Gameplay-wise, it\'s sorta generic, no special tactics required. Aesthetically, it looks the part. The design does look rather manufactured, though. Maybe some of you like that look, personally I prefer my maps to be a little more... well... wilderness. But that\'s just my preference. Good map, enough room for four armies easily, and a pretty good risk factor when sending them out there - the defenders always have the advantage, so make sure you know how to conduct a good old fashioned siege. ;) ~ Kouen
Farseer\'s Badges and Banners
fit in as well as they should. Farseer tried to make them look like they were supposed to be in the game or made by Relic.

Star Corps Badges and Banners
Federation of Planets, Romulan Star Empire and even a Terran Empire logo on them which are from Star Trek. All of the logos are fairly well made and highly recommended for any W40k fan.
Gamorar City
points and five slag deposits. The map itself is an interesting map as it is based upon a destroyed city so there will be ruined buildings almost everywhere and the map does look like its been through a battle with destroyed as well as fully intact walls all over the map. Highly recommended for those that want to battle in a ruined city.
Ashes
forts/bases in opposite corners of the map, & each team has to defend their bases while also attempting to take the enemy's fortification. In the center there is a bridge-like construction & around the "no-mans-land (so to speak) there are scattered ruins of buildings & also relics & Strategic Objectives for a take-&-hold game. Well, download if you like the sound if it/ the screenshots. In my opinion its very good. I only edited it a bit & tested it somewhat, the maps design & creation goes to Notik. He also included a cool picture as a .tga if you want to make it a loading picture. Enjoy! -saoreire

Midnight Over Stasitanum
thought I\'d mention that. Anyway, yes, this is a map (I presume big, though it fails to say anywhere for how many players it is for (I wish people would make sure they\'ve got a thorough ReadMe)). Nevertheless, I would say it is Chaos orientated, but I could again be wrong. Nevertheless, it does look good, my only question would be as to whether tanks or the bigger units can move around, but no doubt you\'ll find that out in time. - Download! - Ash

out buildings of which your squads can take cover in. This map doesn't have as much detail as you would expect such as a flat plane, or rather lack of detail (almost no decals, or doodads), since it is made from a first time mapper (congrats ;)), but you can be sure that this map will load quickly and efficiently for lower end computer user. Check it out!

Detection_Rule.zip
\"detection_local.lua\" Extracting all the files and subdirectories into your Dark Crusade folder (default \"C:Program FilesTHQDawn of War - Dark Crusade\") will create a module for Dark Crusade with a new skirmish rule \"Avoid detection!\" (uses DPX2 localization data, the title of the rule may change if you use a non-English locale). This rule grants detection to Listening Posts as well as a limited detection ability to most leaders and contact detection for many basic units. This rule can also be installed directly in the DPX2 directory or another mod rather than the simple standalone module \"Detection_Rule\". As it is intended for use with the Tyranids mod (in combination with the Inquisition_Daemonhut and Witch_Hunters mods), and as the Tyranids mod already includes custom skirmish rules under \"Tyranidsdatascarwinconditions\", I suggest placing the files \"detection.scar\" and \"detection_local.lua\" there and discarding the \"detection_rule.module\".

Omaha Beach D-Day
few men from the first landings are still alive lingering on the battlefield that the players instantly assume control over when the battle starts. I tried to make this as realistic as possible within the bounds of dawn of war. Trenches and fortifications are all human size, and all battlefield scars indicate human activity (for obvious reasons). Players 3 and 4 start on the bunker side. The bunker side includes a small opening behind a network of trenches. On the southern side of the trenches lie the bunkers that defend the cliffs from the attacking beach side troops. Bunker side players will start with a few objective points as well as turrets defending the cliffs. The beach side contains two relics and the bunker side has none. This is mostly due to the fact that the bunker side has built in defence with the terrain and I wanted to balance out the playing field. The trenches are a little buggy, I tried to make them as smooth as possible but I'm afraid I went too far with the looks and not enough with functionality. If anything, the beach side might have a slight advantage with resources while the bunker side has an advantage with defence. I tried to make this map friendly for multiplayer but balancing may be an issue and it may be more fun to just play against the computer. I am by no means an expert map maker, I understand that this map doesn't look like perfection... but to be honest after about 20 hours of work on it I just slammed a lot of the finishing touches together... I hope who ever downloads this enjoys it, cause it was a pain in the rear to make" Beside the fact is this is very hard to beat I think this will test some Strat. players limits, don't expect to win at all on over normal settings it's next to impossible but however you should have tons of fun playing this. enjoy! http://screenshots.filesnetwork.com/106/files2/116189_1.jpg http://screenshots.filesnetwork.com/106/files2/116189_2.jpg http://screenshots.filesnetwork.com/106/files2/116189_3.jpg http://screenshots.filesnetwork.com/106/files2/116189_4.jpg
Outpost 13
structures stick out but still can be made. There is a mountain highway that is accessible to most vehicles (although the largest like Baneblade and Squiggoth don't work so well) which proves to be useful to behind the enemies forces who'll most likely be ploughing their way through the large open artillery field. The extreme blizzard condition makes gameplay unique, but can obscure the screen. The developer invites it to be edited, and removing the Heavy Snow FX is easy to do in the Mission Editor (In the Scenario menu choose Entity List, select the FX's and delete) if you need greater visibility.
Snowcap Peak
spiral hill in a winter terrain, with strategic points placed around it, and a relic points placed in the middle of the spiral. One thing this map definitely can use is more detail, as there is a lack of terrain textures and objects used; also, it needs some mapping detail as the map is pretty flat. Despite all that, this map is a great start for the author, so lets root for him! You will need Relic's Dawn of War - Dark Crusade Mod tools installed for this to work. Give it download!
Temple of Death
a "Mars themed map with plenty of room to maneuver. Numerous strategic points, ten listening posts, five thermal generators and one relic. Pay attention to cover markers. Expect battles to be long and don't ignore points. Hope you enjoy."
Mars-Pattern Heroes
You can see the little details in the faces, although they are meant to be robotic in nature some of them just look like Cyclops with red eyes. The Force Commander looks better then his counterpart the Chaplain. You can see the Robotic mouth, grey and detailed in every way. I'd give this a download, if not the big red eye Chaplain is going to get you.
Heretic's Pass (3)
hellva time holding them form my friends. Seems I'm a turtle according to them. This map is worthy of being my top favorites well done sir well done. Bonus too you can use this for DC and SS good job. All the Pink question marks are gone. once again a worthy update thank you.

Lucrecio's map pack
tons of pariahs and the enemy brings in their heaviest troops. In Purgation, you control several squads of Grey Knights and you must verse many daemons. It is my first map pack so remember that they aren't the best, but more are on the way.
Lil Map Pack
some Scar issues I saw some big pink question marks maybe this on my part I'm unsure. However The maps have well place doodads, burning ships, and buildings as well. On the ground gives the game play a feel like an epic battle is taking(or well) place. However a word of warning to all if you have slower computer then Retake the center of Tyron may make your computer laggy. This map is worth a download. In the Future Fish upload screenshots and include a readme in your .Zip
Entrenchment v1 2 Player Map (DoW:DC)
don't think this is good, made it harder to fight, but that could be a good thing, for those of you whom are hardcore. The map has a severe lack of textures, and a severe lack of objects also, this makes me think it was the map makers first attempt, even so, a good first attempt, with clearly laid out base camp areas, and a nice narrow map, which makes hiding harder for those eldar types who prefer to ambush, so if you're one of those, bad luck :p The whole map shows as purple, and textureless, I dunno if this is a problem with the file, or if it was intended this way, but it is kind of an eyesore. There are WAYY too many SP's, the map isn't big enough for that many, and it's not big enough for anyone to resource harvest anything either, as once they start earning any resources, your opponent will already be upon you.. Other than that, I liked the map, and I recommend the mapper continues his mapping, as you only get better with effort. Sorry if this review focused on the negative a little too much, the map is a good one, it just needs a little more work to make it perfect, hence my ratings.. -Mikey

Biffy's Ravine 4p
if you're playing against "Hard" AI Like I was, this shouldn't be a problem. One thing I did notice was that vehicles and large units tended to have trouble pathfinding, so to speak, due to the obstacles, but this was probably intentional. Overall a good map which I spent a good 45 mins playing. ~Mikey
Sons of Orar Campaign Skin
not familiar, the scheme is similar to the Blood Ravens, albeit with a more vibrant shade of red and silver-beige as a secondary colour. Included also are some elements from other mods; the banner and badge by hangar-8, and some custom force commander and terminator textures from Spectre716. -Mikouen
Sin City (6)
screenies and think your computer can't handle it, it's not CPU intensive, unless the shadows are on. This map is made with the AI in mind, it was made so the AI won't get stuck. I have short videos on this map if the screenshots aren't enough for you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBvNQLcnGbU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9uKhPgctHA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GcANcHI5Cfc This map contains 12 strategic points per side, so 24 in all. They are located to where 6 are in your base that you share, and 6 outside. There are 2 relics on each side of the center, and a critical location in the middle. There is heavy cover all throughout the middle except for the main path to each other's base. There are sandbags in each base for protection against rushing and also close combat (unless they can jump, then you're screwed :D) All in all this map took me awhile to make, comes with a loading screen, an icon, and a very accurate minimap. Very easy to install too! Enjoy -slimcartman

Oblivion Badges and Banners Pack
cities, excluding the Imperial City. Various skill symbols are also included. ----------- A good little pack with plenty to choose from, as with any banners and badges pack, on some of the races other than the default (Space Marines, Orks and Eldar) they may look a little odd. They do suit vehicles quite well, and there are plenty of combination's to choose from, I had a good little time mixing and matching (Try doing the obivion gate sign mixed with an ork, looks cool :P). All in all a good pack, and look good in action too. ~MM
wild wood
like a few good solid close "knife-fights" were had around the area previously. It is not a bad map really, there are some nice features such as the two mountains and it is decent to play but it is a bit bare.
Sandstorm of Battle
which allows for easy mobilization of heavy vehicles however cover is very sparse so blitzing the enemy defences with large attacks seems to be the most direct route. Strategic points, critical locations and other items of military interest are dotted around the map nicely so you can build a decent army. Not a bad map, worth checking out!
Paradise Lost
you wonder what kind of "entertainment" they would offer. Anyway, in this extremely small map, there is 1 relic, 1 slag deposit, 1 critical location and 4 strategic points. There is a small body of water with a small island. Only people that jump, teleport, deepstrike or tunnel can get to the island. This map is obviously for people whom like to have quick matches, or try out their build orders and such. Check it out!
Outskirts of Tyron
Guard had a chance of repelling the hordes of Chaos but now, lacking reinforcements and supplies they have called upon the aid of any Space Marine chapters that are close enough to assist before it's too late and Tyron has fallen. Its only a matter of time.
How the West Was Won (4p)
objects, no choke points and alot of easy terrain to cross. It is not a bad map but it lacks something that could make it a really nice map - difficulty. It is a bit too straightforward and easy but not bad nonetheless.
The Lanf Mappack - Directors Cut
is over 700 metres, one of the longest lengths feasible, so its designed to be a seesaw battle, the more one player pushes, the longer it takes for their troops to reach the frontline, giving the defenders time to push. Hence, the front line moves a lot. Transport can be a saving grace here. This was my 3rd map ever created, and has been slightly spruced up for submission. Nothing major though.
Only Water - A Desert Map
criticism would be a great help for the fledgling mapper. This map features some objects and decals scattered over the map, which is a good thing as most first time mappers don't even include those essential things. As said before, this map has a focus point on the middle of the map as it is the only place to get across to the other side, so expect fierce battles to take place there. This map also has a nice balance of resource points for player's to capture, thus ensuring a nice flow of economy for the players. Check it out!
Nandius Valley
4 strategic points. This map is great for quick and small one versus one encounters, and infantry battles, but it lacks resource points to help players climb up the tech tree. In spite of that, this map can be great for creating starting build orders for newbies who want to try 1v1's online. Despite the size, it can be fun to play in. Check it out!
Icy Showdown
straightforward. It uses the smallest map size 128x128. You can expect to be building right next to your enemy. Large units like the bane blade probably won't fit here and are generally ineffective close quarters. More like a battle for a small farm from World War Two this is a decent enough map. There is pockets of little to no cover but most cover is at the center and upper half of the map. Requires Dawn of War, Winter Assault, and Dark Crusade. Worth checking out! - IKS
Sand Fields Of Flyon III
feature of this map is a disused quarry located in the near centre of one of Flyon III's largest desert, aka this map. The quarry is sparse broken down structure which offers no real hindrance to movement. It was mined until nothing was left until the Eldar unearthed a hidden Relic. Now the Imperial Guard want this newely discorvered artifact back so guess what? you gotta lead them in and take it back. - IKS
Fixed (8p) Streets of Magerion - Night Version
for 4 teams and set in urban environment. There are some ruins, but much of the city is unscatched. Most of buildings are 'garrisonable', so units can move in and get cover behind their walls or on the roofs. There main streets are broad enough, so Baneblade or Land Raider have enough space to deploy. Worth checking out if you like the first version!
No way Out
Cathdral where the Guard created a defensive wall and waited out their days. Praying to the Emporer. Incidently this is where Colonel Brom had his last fight for the Emporer. You can find Brom underneath the Chaos pole in the middle of the road down the centre of the map It has a dark, grimey and desolate appearance looking like someone dropped an imperial Guard base into the depths of Mordor. Honestly, its a nice setting ;) lots of dark mountains surrounding a battle damaged village. Again like alot of maps it is a little sparse on buildings making it hard to see how it is an urban area, even a small one. However it does have its good points, the surrounding mountains and the lighting fit in well. Worth checking out!
Dark Crusade Gameplay Comilation
angles. It is watchable but I don't really see the point of this video only obviously to promote the mod itself. An interesting thing to note to all, if you want to do a video for promotion of a mod upload it to youtube and provide us with the links. we can then embed the video in the description so users can watch it before downloading the mod ;) - IKS
Heresy of chaos vs Space Marine
especially weapons of titan and very powerful characters. Definitely a decent battlefest but it lacks considerable map objects so its a bit open and easy to fight in.. Still worth checking out
Castle Assault (Jungle Assault V2.0)
map objects in the castle. It's a pretty decent map, nothing too special - lots of open ground and clear line of sight across most of the map making it easier to spot enemy movements. Overall it's nto a bad map to play on, definite download if you liked noobymcnoob's Jungle Assault 1.0 - IKS
Battle For KelSneyd III: Mission I
III: Mission I This is the full release of Mission I (following on from the Demo released earlier) of the upcoming 'Battle For KelSneyd III' co-operative campaign. Mission Briefing: "Commanders, Welcome to KelSneyd III, unfortunately you could not have arrived at a worse time. The rebel forces have been launching counterattacks along the entire front. Worse yet they are close to breaking through our weakest point. As all of our experienced commanders are tied up in engagements across the line we are sending you three to command the garrison at 'Stokie Point'. This area is cut off from regular supply lines being so far forward and the troops and the defenses have taken a battering from the weather and the rebels artillery. Do not let all 3 forward bases fall! Emperor Protect."
Battle for KelSneyd III *DEMO*
contains the first 10 groups of attackers, it gets to about the halfway point of the full scenario. Its a 3 players vs 1 scripted AI in a survival style map. Feedback [*] Difficulty: to easy/hard? [*] Lag: is there any? [*] Any suggestions? [*] Any Scar Errors? If you are willing to become a map tester (Note: you will need 2 friends/players to test the maps with) then please contact the author on relic news forums: http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?t=221440 The map is not fully completed and the minimap, and map detail will be improved for the actual release, so take this into consideration. - IKS
Black Wolves Badge & Banner set
background is pretty cool and it does look good on the Space Marines. If you like it, go ahead and download it! - IKS
The Old Town
erratic terrain to invoke tactics and strategies for better gameplay. The map object placement is okay, the meteor impact crater looks good but it all looks a tad bit sloppy especially the unstraight roads and the size probably is a major drawback, it should be larger with more buildings and streets. However if you like the look of it, you can download it - IKS
Doom city(2)
Emperor's finest soldiers only to fail in the battle. Doom city use to be peaceful. No one survived the city except the pykers that guard the city. Doom is a decent enough map despite being relatively small, the structure, map design and object placement is good focusing on the centre of the map which is unfortunately/fortunately (which ever way you look at it) engulfed in flames. The cover is light and there are not many obstacles to impede any movements greatly though the condensed design of the city does make combat a bit better. Not to take anything away from the map but it should be larger, with more buildings, streets and cover to be called a city. However if you like it then give it a go! - IKS
Tomb World and Tomb World Inversed
Featuring four starting locations with High walls around each base creating an easily defendable base. All the criticial and strategic locations and relics are positioned outside these walled bases in open play. In the centre of the map is a large wall sweeping across the lenght of the map - this has two entry points on either end much like gates that act as the main choke points of the map. Tomb World: A Dark battlefield based on the necron tomb. Player 1 has lots of necron warriors and attack scarabs to start off with, whilst the other players try to cut they're way through the swarms of scarabs it allows player 1 and 2 to build up a countering force. Tomb World Inverse: Same battlefield except for this time player one is in player 3's original position and player 3 benefits from the swarms of scarabs and warriors. It's basically a mirror image of the original map. All in all it is a decent map that offers some interesting gameplay. - IKS
Archipelago
one strategic position in the middle. The map is a good concept but the final quality is not great to be honest, firstly the islands are arranged in a symmetrical fashion which is a let down. Secondly the islands themselves are pretty sparse with no cover at all - some jungle foliage and some hilly terrain even some grass would have been much more realistic. On the plus side the combat it invokes is excellent especially along the isthmus/land bridges connecting the islands which don't allow much mass movement of troops/equipment. Its a good map with a good idea behind it but the end product needs to be slightly better. Worth checking out if you like the idea of it. - IKS
Abandoned City (4)
shouldn't be able to fit but there is the exception of Drop podding dreadnoughts and the jump abilities of a few vehicles. More like a large settlement than a city (no structured streets or roads) this is a good map with alot of open space though it could have done with more compacted buildings/structures and a few streets. However this map is worth checking out. - IKS
Into the Second Breach
for artillery fire to be entrenched. The opening is also widened compared to Relic's original, making it easier to get troops back and forth. There is also a critical location now in the middle, for take and hold missions. Each team has the same amount of points in the original, but I've added a slag deposite for faster teching. More cover around the map makes for some great tactical engagements. This map is by far better than the original, in my opinion, and is slightly larger. Have fun! Similar in landscape to the vey recently released Frozen Assault (1.0) this does look like a cool battlefield but the symmetric shape to the map is a bit of a let down. It gets easy to predict movement and where the enemy will build. There isn't much cover except for a few craters and minor dunes and the map is a tad on the small side. It would be a good size if more cover and impassable terrain was on the map. However it is a good map and is worth checking out especially if you enjoyed the first version. - IKS
Frozen Assault
the shape of rocky terrain and craters though the area surrounding the bases are open and probably going to be where the main fight will shape up. The map itself comes with 1 relic, 2 critical locations, and 8 strategic points. It also has two parallel entrenchments which provide for great gunfights. Designed as a ruined city that has been covered with snow. The ruins and small camp fires are a nice touch, though it would have been better to see more ruins of the city. Map Info: This forge world was a savage fighting ground between the Imperial Guard and Chaos, both of which were fighting for valuable oil plants. The Imperial Guard put up a good fight but it was not enough, the Chaotic forces overran the Guard before the Space Marines could arrive to help... Now it is up to another unknown force to come out of the depths of the warp and stop these Chaos beasts... Note: This map is NOT scripted Overall a cool map, with a nice a feel and look to it..Definitely a battleground worthy of download - IKS
The Wall
mob has made several attempts of attacking the walls (quite some tourists were beheaded during the attacks), so locals decided to decrease the Orc's numbers a bit. The author says this map has been in his mind for several years now. Initially inspired by Outer Reaches (surprise, surprise), the map follows a slightly different layout and a different node setup as well, so the gameplay is quite different. You can launch attacks through the opponents back door, for example. The map could be slightly imbalanced as far as ranged combat goes (arty and Tau updates), but on the other hand, turtling will not help you in this offensive layout. Last but not least, the AI seems to have slight issues with this map as it doesn't rush a lot. It seems slower than usual.

A New threat
suggest if you wish to play against a computer, you should place the computer opponent as the 4th player and set its race as Chaos as if it was something else it would not make any sense to the lore of map. The map plays great; however, the objective of the map is to destroy the enemy base along with the enemy turrets! Wish I knew that sooner, as my army laid idle for quite a while before figuring out what to do. Check it out!
Into the Second Breach
however, the backway is by the sides of the 1st and 3rd player, so that place has to be defended well. Each player has one less strategic point the before, abut each team has an added slag deposit. There are a few more objects and craters for increased cover to hide in. Also there is cover around each base to symbollize the buildings for cover. Design wise, the map is great, but visually, more detail could have been added. Anyway, If you liked The original into the breach, then you'll love this one! Check it out!
Dark Crusade Minor Balance Changes Mod
Soulstorm version of this mod. Please refer to the readme for more details.

buildings as covers and to make assaults a little easier to defend against. This map features many hills and has open fields, so expect quick mechanized battles as there are lots of room to maneuver in! Design wise, the map does look interesting; however, the author could have added some more detail as that department is kinda lacking. Also, this map holds many strategic points, which are clustered around the center. Check it out!
Free Campaign
you to unlock all the wargears for your commander after a single battle! This is definitely the mod for those whom want to skim through the campaign with all races!
Instant Epic Battle Mod
infantry = 20 Med-High infantry = 15 Commanders = 5 Low Vehicles = 8 High Vehicles = 5 Also, each squad member costs 1 req and power. Note: Due to the possibility of large numbers of units that may appear on screen, this mod is definitely not for the lower end computers that can barely handle Dawn of War.
Kydno Mod
unit, that unit can create an entire army...so basically you have your own little regiments. As for the Imperial Gaurd, the author took his own idea from the "Dawn of Suck" mod (Which he is also known as DDman465) and kind of gave it a little kick in this one. The author uses Corsix Mod Studio at the moment, and asks if anyone knows of another modding program please tell me. Check it out!
Trapped
troops is though an seemingly abandoned tunnel so the fighting gets intense. From first impression, this map seems to be from a first time mapper; thus it would be fitting if we all gave him constructive comments. While this map sounds good and all, the map is pretty basic in design, or detail; there aren't that many objects or decals placed, nor much thought in map structure. Another thing about this map is that, it is pretty cramped in; however, direct tier 1 infantry battles are pretty cool to play with on this map. Check it out!
Tau mini mod

Space Marines, forgotten by man many centuries ago, yet to be rediscovered. This map is based on the planet Sepheris Secundus. Forgotten by man centuries ago, it contain a sacred temple of the Space Marines. For Dawn of War: Dark Crusade.

a tad bit better. Here is the fluff:
"Successors of the imperial fists and one of the most powerful space marine chapter they are experts at using the powerfist infact if given the chance almost any of them will take a powerfist into battle (even the chaptermaster has a pair of powerfists)"
Faded Dreams
Kaukasion National Park. Note that there is almost no cover, and the bases are laid out defensively thus making assault a little bit hard. Uniquely laid out, this map forces players to fight for the middle, so you can expect some hectic battles there as each side struggles to control it. Due to how small this map is and how the landscape is laid out for each side, players can be encouraged to turtle and boost up their defense while being able to have enough range for artillery barrages against the enemy bases surrounding them; because of this, the Imperial Guard may be a tad bit unbalanced as this map perfectly suits them. In spite of that, this map is really done well, with detailed environments, and landscaping this map has quite the visual eye candy. Check it out!
Fourtresses
This map can be used for siege style gaming where one player attacks the other person, while the other defends; thus players can camp the entire game. Also, the "fortresses" are spaced out far too long due to how big the map is for a four player multiplayer map, thus it takes a while for the action to roll in. Detail wise, it is done well for a first time mapper; however, it should be said that map doesn't have a real setting (ie. a jungle, or urban city) thus there are many objects that feel are added in randomly. Also, there is a considerable lack of detail, due to how big the map is which results in a sparse and empty landscape. All in all, if your looking for a siege style map which you can play with your friends, then this is a map for you. Also, I have added in some screenshots since it was uploaded without them.
The Northern Road
nothing to improve the roads so the local population has revolted, and destroyed the area; thereby turning it into a warzone. Yikes. Anyway, this map features very open spaces which you can maneuver your squads around, this can be used to do flanking or surprise attacks on an enemy group. Although, not too detailed, it however a bit bland as there aren't that many variations of objects and decals; however, if your interested in game play only, this map can provide you some good moments. Check it out!
Into the Breaches!
simultaneously! This remake of the classic is sure to keep eight players playing for hours; however, if a whole team is playing as the Imperial Guard, well lets just say you will have a hard time keeping up with the artillery barrages! One critique that could made for this map is that it does not have much detail, it's simply a bland map with any variations of decals, nor are there any objects spotted on the map to give it that extra detail. In spite of that, if you looking for pure game play and fun value, you should give this one a try.
Footy Fever

Fog Striker
the pass is vital if you want to get to the other side of the map. As for the decorations, its basically a former Tau village that got sacked by the orks, however because of how annoying advancing is in the cliff's, the defenders gave the civilians more then enough time to evacuate, along with evacuation for the remaining defenders.
Blood Eagles B&B
little more attention on the banner's text could have been made. Anyway, here is some fluff for ya: Successors of the Blood Hawks, these mighty warriors were born during a golden age of the Imperium; thus, it led their armor being made from solid gold painted blood red, leaving the trimmings unpainted. These fearless warriors are yet to prove themselves worthy to the Imperium.

Jungle Assault
start out in the jungle area of the map (if your playing fixed positions). You have little space between you and the castle. Before the gates you see the bodies of those who have tried to take this fortress. Ork Bommas have tried to destroy the humans but have simply fallen in the mountains. Whoever wins this battle is up to you.
Risk 2.0
couldn't hold myself back when I could use some help with his first map. This is in no way to say that he isn't an expert mapper – who hasn't seen his legendary Kronus map series? But I can feel for him as it probably takes twice the effort to do all the scar programming over map making and it can wear a guy out. So here is what I came up with, my apologies if the part of the world you live in isn't that attractive! For all the die-hard Warhammer 40K guys out there that view the use of Dawn of War for an Earth conquest as abominable, just imagine that there is some reminiscent remains of our beloved planet 38,000 years from now and the Chaos and Space Marines are duking it out for the pitiful amount of resources still left here... And now, Fuggles' original Game Description: This is a 2 player on 1 PC, turn-based strategy map based on the classic board game Risk. It's a SCAR map that should work on both Dark Crusade and Soulstorm. Firstly each player takes turns to deploy their forces and after this the player's go is split into 4 stages: 1) Reinforcement 2) Movement 3) Combat 4) Consolidation You get extra reinforcements for conquering whole continents or from invading lands belonging to your enemy.

Mountain Range
and base placement. There are 8 strategic points, and 2 relic and critical points spread throughout the map. The map design is unique as both players are forced to fight for a square shaped mountain. Tau Advanced Post (4)
human buildings which provide a substrate for the alien settlement. This map is designed for an unusual game. Players start with few strategic points around the base, so they must move and expand quickly to gain victory. Most of resources are concentrated in the middle strip, in a large negative-cover area. This strip looks like a "no man's land" crossing the urban territory. To take a good advantage, players are forced to build an advanced post in the "no man's land", but they are all time exposed to the negative-cover. You can use this map for DC and SS.

exactly allowed to) but hear me out: In this 4 player winter themed map, players eyes will be dazzled by the beautiful visuals created for this map. I'm not lying. The wintry setting is very convincing due to the well placed and thought out decals, landscaping, and object placements. This map is designed asymmetrical; however, player positions are placed on the opposite corners of the map, accompanying the player positions are a wealth of strategic, critical, and relic points. The map it self is blast to play, and the visual candy as I have said before, are damn well good. A definite download. -Slash

Into The Breaches (8)
edit of the original into the breach so that 8 players can play. The map features two breaches and it was made specifically for teams of 4 to play - or 4 players vs 4 A.I players. This is my first map and I took some time to make sure it feels polished, for example a completed minimap and map description etc... This is the second and final release Ill be doing of this map, I fixed some minor glitches such as sandbags being owned by team 8, floating debris and I also cut down on usage of decals which means it'll run well for mass invasion style games for mods that remove pop-caps. Onto the fluff... Upon many an invasion the Imperial Commisars have yelled "Into the breaches you dogs! To victory!" The most notable of these was Commisar Page-Worths execution of Militant Governor Alexander Ross for cowardice. As the governors lines where over-run Page-Worth shot the cowardly governor on charges of cowardice.
and Pride banners in quality. Very soon I will release the Seven Deadly Sins badge and banner pack (which will include the improved wrath badge and the improved pride banner), and after that I have one more simple badge and banner set then I think it might well be the end of my badge and banner career, as I'm not really going to have the free time and I don’t really have any more great ideas for badges and banners (and I never did get any requests). Thanks again to every one for you comments and support. Fluff: The Knights Gluttonous are a vicious faction of the seven deadly sins which specifically target agricultural worlds, striking deadly and vicious blows to its people but more importantly to its resources. How it is that this band of men is capable of apparently devouring the food resources of an entire fertile region in a short weeks time is unknown, some say it has to do with the peculiar nature of the demons which possess them some calling them “Famine Spirits”, this would certainly explain the demonic appetite of The Knights Gluttonous. They are lead buy Behlzabub The Starved a ravenous chaos lord who has been observed to kill and eat his own men on the battle field if he cannot get his hands on a sufficient number of enemy corpses to devour. A tribute to a out of touch friend: Demons... IN SPACE! Nom-Nom-Nom-Nom! He Ate A Motorcycle! He Ate A Motorcycle!
I think this sums it up quite nicely. Also; the author has reminded me of Pigs In Space. One of the best Muppet's sketches, therefore he is win and you must worship him. Do it, do it now. - Heretic/Abbadon
Clerics Of Sloth
trying to come up with a “primary symbol” to base it around, it wasn’t until I got a suggestion from one of the users here on file front that I was able to come up with anything what so ever (so again: thx Leever). Id rate this one from “ok” to “pretty good” the worm is very clear and recognizable in game play and is even easy spotted on the miniature flag on the back of aspiring champions. Fluff: The infamously unreliable Clerics of Sloth are a group of particularly lethargic chaos marines who spend little to no time actually seeking out foes of chaos. The reason they even keep up arms at all is in fear of the deadly retribution of there fellow chaos marines, they spend most of time occupying already conquered worlds or regions sitting lazily behind saturating these places in the foul taint of chaos while other space marine squads charge ahead to new conquests. These unimpressive facts may make the Clerics of Sloth appears something less then the most dangerous of foes they have been known to fight viciously to stay in a territory they have already settled in, many of them preferring to die then relocate. They are lead buy the chaos sorcerer Belphegor The Useless, whose practically gelatinous form is carried about buy a pack of Horrors which some say where bound to him buy Nurgle him self.

Votaries Of Lust
many of the suggestions I got where, heh-heh, well im your sure you can guess, but eventually I came up with something that met criteria here on file front. Over all I think this badge and banner set is from "pretty good" to "quite good". The banner and badge is especially clear and very recognizable in game play (even the tiny lip stick mark on the flag on the back of the Aspiring Champion is very easy to spot). Once again open to suggestions, criticisms, and requests. Fluff: A strange faction of the seven deadly sin legion who are obsessed with winning the affection of the chaos god Slaneesh. They have been accounted sending countless gifts of jewelry, artifacts, captured shipments of food (curiously all of a low nutrition value and high sugar content), and countless living persons into the warp as gifts to the relatively young chaos goddess. Although so far this patron of the Dark Eldar has been unresponsive to this way ward group, there leader the chaos lord Asmodeous The Enamored persist that “She will come around” and puts forth to his some times disheartened troops that “She is just playing hard to get”.
Errants of Greed
sets, but I think it clearly gets a point across and fulfils a function also as another money sign badge and banner, id say it rates "Ok" as a 7DS Legion badge/banner and "Good" as a disembogues money sign badge/banner. You can see iv included the alternate stack of coins banner as well. Once again open to suggestions, criticism, and requests. Fluff: The Errands of Greed are considered even amongst there fellows as little more then a band of space pirates. Most of its members broken into small self concerned bands picking off and hunting down any and all trade vessels they can track down, and happily taking down there fellows for a greater share of the loot. However these fractured bands are some times called together buy the gold mongering sorcerer Mammon The Gilded, who's incredibly well timed raids on industrial worlds always seem to happen during times of internal conflict and turmoil.
Meditors Envious
"good". As always id like to say im open to suggestions, criticism, and requests. Fluff: The Meditors Envious are known for there vicious pursuit of ancient artifacts and in particular try to scavenge technology from fallen imperial troops or even alien races. Their forces are often seen hovering in the outer reaches of planets where other armys do battle, waiting for there opportunity to swoop in and take whatever they can. They are lead buy a figure who calls himself The Covetous Lord and is known to sport the field in his heavily modified Predator known as The Leviathan.
Archons Of Pride
"Real Good" in my opinion. I'm really kind of stuck as to what to do for the sins of Greed and Sloth, and id really like to hear some suggestions. Once again in general im open to criticism, suggestions, and requests. Fluff: The Archons Of Pride are aloof and commanding regiments of the 7DS Legion, the important bodies of the faction are a small cable of chaos sorcerers and witches who operate secretly in imperial space, attempting to bring corruption to men of power and importance. The fighting force of The Archons Of Pride is a tactical strike team used to retrieve these corruptors when suspicions begins to fall upon them. There leader is a enigmas figure known simply to its members as "The Prince".
Chaos Infestation
glory is lost its rivers and lakes tainted, its cities all but destroyed and the landscape warped.
Under the Eye of Damnation
holds all the strat points and is highy restrictive to wehicles), the central path which is fairly plain but for a few crators, and a jungle which makes for some hard to see combat unless you get down to the units eye level!!! there thats it luv Ed ;) thank you for downloading (hopefully...)
Forgotten Taint (4)
Taint. You can play this map with a number of 4 players. The map itself has a little history to go along with it. Its a map where t Chaos had forgotten to take there relics with them so those relics slowly tainted the land. Soon the Space Marines and Imperial Guard located these relics and went out to destroy them, but at the same time the Chaos came back to retrieve the relics. This map is definetly worth a go.

Tau'va Hunting Grounds
improves the look with some actual decoration this time. Unless there are any game-breaking problems to fix, this will be the final update. v1.02 A two player multiplay / skirmish map for Relic Entertainment's Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Dark Crusade (or Soulstorm) expansion. Inspired by dynamic battlegrounds like Relic's Meeting of Minds, this map is intended to reward careful maneuvering, clever use of jump troops, and flexible tactics. This is my first completed map for Dawn of War, and I would love to hear your feedback! Enjoy!
Killa

Plateau
keeping it that way. The central plateau is only easily accessible by troops, vehicles and larger units will have a hard time scaling the slops the top. Instead they will have to travel around the plateau and through the bio mass reclamation areas. Players will make good use of the plateau by placing their longer ranged units in safe firing positions. Players are well advised to have effective counters ready, such as jump troops. Note: Fliers can find the cliffs difficult to navigate. don't ask me why. SS is probably the only game where aircraft are actually hindered by terrain.
Seems ok, I like fighting on a planet which is being eaten by ravaging space aliens, lots and lots and lots and lots, ok I'll stop now. Think the above description will give you an idea. - Heretic/Abbadon
Last Stand
first official map so please give comments and advice on future maps or how to improve this map.
Looks good, but if it's not SCAR scripted, then Chaos may be able to easily outbalance the Imperials. However, that makes it all the funner, as the Imperials desperatly try and hold against rabbling hordes of mutants, marines, anc cats. - Heretic/Abbadon Note: Cats are not in this map.
Twice the Empire! Banner
from Star Wars. They look cool together. :) In the zip, there's two versions, one with my army's name on it, and one blank, so you guys can put your own text in! This is my first submission by the way, so enjoy! -=Copyright Stuff=- Seeing as the Imperial Eagle nor the Imperial Crest actually belong to me, the only thing I can ask of you is that if you do put your own text on the blank banner, just don't submit it as your own banner. If you're going to use it in something you're making, send me a message when it's done, I'll be interested in your work! -colonialhockey10
Iyanden´s Garden
the ship, "The Garden of Dreams". This is where the spiritual essences of ancestors are held. The Tyranid fleet of the Great Devourer is attacking the craftworld, and the dome of the ancients received four impacts of tyranids spores. Four Eldar armies are sent to stop this threat.
Triangle canyons (3P)
positions is a bit weak, although I guess it presents a bit of a challenge. I'd recommend fixed positions, so you can avoid that starting point. I doubt Take and Hold would be appropriate for this map, but I put a critical location by each starting point anyway. Apart from jump units, you will be confined to the canyon/valley things, and as far as I know, there is no way out (other than jumping). I haven't managed to do a mini-map or loading screen, so I apologize for that.

Night Holocaust
couple of games to figure how to play the map, It was made so that each player is in a diffrent siutaation, like P1, he is in a fortress but it is hard to secure all of it, making it diffrent then p2, who already can easily get control of the entire chapel, however there is only one exit, the other one must be blown apart by the enemy for a flanking manovuore and so that rienforcments for P1 come in faster. P3 has alot of land easily controlled, but it has 2 openings both of whihc can be used as a flanking manouvre for both players.
-looks like a very good map, sounds like it takes great tactical prowess to pull off a victory. I'm downloading, recommend you do the same! -colonialhockey10
Jungle Of Secretts
Imperial Colony, just across he river from p1. Then p3 sits in the middle of a forest, which is the center of the Eldar control, each strategic point is strategic because they have webway gates next to them (these are nonfunctinal, you can't destroy them). The map is also a strategtic one, in the center there is a unisone of 4 websails, not much is known on what it could do, but it is rumoured to be able to fit an entire army of Eldar through it, it is the relic of the map. There are 2 openings to it, one is shared between p3 and p1, while the other is shared by p2 and p3. Not to mention it is also a night fight map it has a small city designed to be a vacation destination, mainly because the Imperials thought this was a beutifal empty world where it can't be attacked, but they diden't know, so they made a colony with not much firepower. Now this was foolish, the Eldar had hidden websails, this was left over from the time when the Eldar were the supreme power in the universe, these are next to impossible to detect, so eventually conflicts arose and endless Imperial forces sent to protect the jewel of the system, now its system is near Terra, so the best the Imperials could throw at it eventually settled the conflict by negotations, now the Imperuim and the Eldar are seeking it again, combat will arise once again. If you have any concerns or problems, this is my 3rd map, I am getting used to this, email me if you have any complaints
Land Raiders of the world
Dawn of War before downloading this. This pack adds the following units: A Landraiders Crusader, Ares, Terminus and a Infantry version of what the developer likes to call the Lander Raider Harvester. Also included is what he calls the Forge World Land Raider Hyperios. Unfortunetly the developer has failed to provide us with screenshots to show his work prior to the download. I also wanna repeat that you better not download this file without proper knowledge on how to modify your game, you need to know how to texture and implant units in order to use this pack. - File Submitted by Crazykenny

Jack051093\'s Reminiscenes Map Pack
Marines, 2 is Eldar, 3 is Necrons, and so on. This map is designed for free for all, and each player has an even amount of map. And what\'s more, there are 7 small islands in the map, each with their own teleporter, near each player\'s base. Each island has 1 slag deposit, 1 relic, and 3 strategic points. Map 2 - Beach Capture (UPDATED) A reasonable sized map for 2 players, in which there are two ways to the enemies\' base. Two relics lie near the centre, so control that area, and you control the game. Map 3 - Sacred Words (PRERELEASED) Another of my \'messing around\' maps really, with the letters \'DAWNOFWAR\' sticking out of the ground, but made quite a good map, so here it is. Oh yeah, BTW, it\'s 2 players. Map 4 - Escaping War (PRERELEASED) Yet another \'messing around\' map, which I love. For 4 players, it is basically a HUGE maze (512x1024) in which you must navigate and defend carefully if you wish to overcome the on-coming enemies. Best played as 2v2. Map 5 - Garden Valley (PRERELEASED) A 4 player map, which took a very long time to make, and includes some custom decals (the steps - I think they turned out quite well). Best for 2v2. There are 2 ways to the enemy\'s base, on two sets of stairs. Map 6 - Streets of Caliban (UPDATED) A 4 player map set in a city called Caliban. Now don\'t lecture me on fluff and stuff, I know there is something wrong with me calling it Caliban (can\'t remember what though) but I didn\'t want to change the original\'s name. I got rid of the lairy bright red-orange decals around the side, and made it look nicer, also, there are more buildings, and more secrets to be discovered! Map 7 - Temple Capture (UPDATED) Another 2v2 map, which is set in the jungle, with a temple in it (a recurring theme in my maps). This is one of my favourites. Now has better trees and stuff, along with other things. Map 8 - Protecting Pavonis (UPDATED) A 1v1 map, set in the necron tombworld before the Imperium invaded and the Nightbringer left. For this version, I got rid of the lairy decals (again), and replaced them with decals that fit in more. Map 9 - Lost in Time and Space I (PRERELEASED) \"A library harnessing the strength of a world was overpowered. The power created portals to other worlds, while the inhabitants of the library were destroyed. Now there are 5 worlds, 4 armies, 3 enemies, and 2 gates to your world, but there can only be 1 victor.\" A four player map, in which the Manipulatus machine has created portals to other worlds. You must fight in them. Map 10 - Lost in Time and Space II (PRERELEASED) \"The fabrics of time are gradually ripping away. The fight is greater, occupying 16 worlds now. We don\'t stand a chance.\" - Guardsman of the 21st regiment, region unknown. \"We are sorry, we cannot supress the power of the Manipulatus machine... the power of Space and Time... what have we done?!\" - Transmission received 2 months ago, region unknown. Another four player map, the sequel to Lost in Time and Space I. There are now 16 worlds to fight in. Can you control them all? Map 11 - Lost in Time and Space III (NEW!) \"This world has seen many changes. It was once hot, like the boiling plains of Nocturne, and, according to the earliest of records, was filled with a dense jungle. But now, all we see is snow, and the bloody corpses of our fallen allies. We have no idea what has happened here... hold on, what\'s this!? It is like no daemonic power we have seen before... surely, not even a daemon could shake the ground itself?!...\" - Transmission received earlier this month, Pavonis Sector. \"We are sorry, we cannot supress the power of the Manipulatus machine... the power of Space and Time... what have we done?!\" - Transmission received 2 months ago, region unknown. A fortress-style Lost in Time and Space map. I think this one was created to see how well a change in style for the Lost in Time and Space series would go down. Map 12 - Cyberspace (PRERELEASED) This map is a 1v1 map that uses only custom decals and heightmap (along with gameplay objects). The decals were made in a matter of minutes, making sure they were just right for the setting of map I wanted to create - cyberspace. It is a 256x256 map, includes 2 critical locations, 2 easily defended relics, and a number of strategic points. Map 13 - Skull Hill (PRERELEASED) Skull Hill - that tril map which didn\'t really work, but it makes for quite an interesting game, so it\'s cool.
Ork Assualt
the map. Weeeeeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllll.... It's a deathmatch with some serious siege warfare going down. The Orks and Imperial Guard (or whatever races you choose to play as in their place) each start in well-defended fortresses. You know what that means? Oh yeah, you know what that means. Artillery. Killing alleys. Slaughter. Painful defeats and a hell of a lot of requisition stockpiling. One cannot help but be reminded of the old days of Age of Empires, back when we didn't have this "push"/"rush" junk holding the pride of place as the extent of the general populace's knowledge of battlefield tactics. Almost makes one nostalgic for chariots and horse archers, but Wartraks and Vespids will have to do. Units will die. Resources will get expended. But if you play your cards right, you just might walk away without getting your butt handed to you. And that, is quite the accomplishment when you're taking on an entrenched enemy with adequate siege defenses. Aesthetically, the map strikes me as a little plain. Okay, it's got plenty of decals, plenty of terrain variation, it just feels lacking. Yeah, so you'll be too busy fighting to notice, but eye candy is always good to have as icing on the cake, even when gameplay more than makes up for it. Maybe work on the eye candy a little for future maps, and try some more features as opposed to open terrain. Throw in a little CQB for variety, etc. Nice to see that older modders are coming out of hibernation, by the way. :p Okay, well, if you like what you see, give it a download. ~ Kouen
B&B Making Materials #3
file. Personally, I\'d rather seek out my own resources as opposed to downloading a giant pack when I\'m only really going to want one or two things, but if you\'re not sure what it is you\'re looking for this should be quite helpful as it\'ll give you a decent range to choose from. However, what Buttermilk says in the readme about changing JPEG to GIF and/or TGA.... Yeah, it doesn\'t work like that. They\'re totally different image formats, so you really should be opening them in an image editor and resaving the images in the proper format, otherwise they simply won\'t work. So, just renaming the file extension is only going to give you a badge and/or banner which doesn\'t work. Packs 1 and 2 are also included, so have at it. ~ Kouen
Dead Medows
play a non-IG race, you get units from two armies as long as you can keep the IG buildings intact. However, much to my alarm, I found out that the Space Marines I'd planned on slaughtering also had a fully-functional base right off the bat. Whereas Player 1 gets a set-up IG base, Player 2 gets a set-up SM base. I still handed their butts to them in less than five minutes, but eh, a surprise is a surprise. (At least, I *think* that's the right way round. I had random starting positions on. Ooops.) Aside from the two bases, each side has a relic under their control right at the start, but other than that it's mostly a flat meadow with some defensive fortifications, minor details in some areas such as the forest behind the northern cliffs, and the occasional water-filled crater, plus there's two lakes. All in all it's not a bad map, just a hallmark first map. Pretty good for battles of attrition, though, since both bases are perfectly siege-able and equally fortifiable. Give it a try - it may look dull, but it plays pretty well. ~ Kouen
Snow Fort
no such defense. The only point where the two armies clash is the lone gate leading into the fort. Well, sounds more exciting than it was. My experience as a former Battlefront II player has taught me one thing: walls are no match for a jetpack. My tactical response was to lure the Chaos troops to the gate, pin them down there between some Fire Warriors and stealthsuits, and use artillery to prevent them from retreating. Meanwhile, I slipped some Vespids over the wall and attacked the defenseless base. Heh, only an AI would be stupid enough to allow their entire force to be lured into a maneuver that functions as both a pincer attack and a death alley. But I shall digress. The sad thing about this map, is that so much of the space is wasted. The southern half of the map has nothing at all in it, and even the northern half is virtually empty. Aside from the wall, you've got four tight groupings of six SPs each, a critical location, a relic inside the fort and another outside, a splattering of corpses at the gate and a big crater. Aside from that, the landscape is flat and barren. While the map works out well for gameplay, it could look a lot better, both by adding terrain variety and more features, and utilising the whole of the space available. For a first map, though... well. It's typical first map material, and with the first of anything, there's only one thing a modder should be aiming for. Okay, that's a lie, it's more like two. Number one is practice, number two is getting the damn thing to actually work. You people are just lucky DoW isn't built on the Source SDK, that's a beginner's nightmare.... All I can say to commando543 in the way of advice, at this early stage, is that practice makes perfect, and don't be afraid to experiment. The best tip by far is to head to our forums, post lots of WIP materials, and get feedback from those with more experience. Y'all should try this map at least once, since it presents something of an interesting puzzle for the attacking player which has either an incredibly simple solution, or an incredibly complex one, depending on how your opponent works. Not exactly freeform tactics, more like the rock-paper-scissors approach, but the map is good for a few games at the very least. ~ Kouen
Lord Wugz Maps
This is where entire Tau forces are sent when it is found hey have strayed from the greater good. They are forced to fight dozens of Kroot Warriors for their freedom. Only after they have proven they are worth keeping, and have renounced themselves, can they return to the ranks of their brothers, but not without downcast eyes upon them. Players-2 SP\'s-8 Relics-1 SD-2 Best Played with-Boht players as Tau, but Player 1 uses mainly (or exclusively) Kroot units, and Player 2 mostly (or exclusively) Tau units. Set to Annihilate Crypt On a moon in the Fenris system, a disturbance was discovered when Imperial radar could not penetrate the planets atmosphere. A small detachment of Space Wolves, who call Fenris home, were dispatched to investigate. However, communication was quickly lost, and the team has not been heard from in a Fenrisian week. The Space have prepared a force to recover the missing troops, or their Gene-Seeds. However they are not the only Chapter on the case. The rumor of possible Necron activity near Fenris delighted Interrogater-Chaplain Viktor of the Dark Angels. Any chance to humiliate their ancient rivals, the Space Wolves, would be taken. Dawning their Deep Green robes, a full force of Dark Angels was dispatched to the moon. The discovery was shocking. A huge force of Necrons, fighting a rather punative force of Eldar. Deciding that fighting with the Eldar would prove smarter than fighting two battles, the Interrogator Chaplain made contact with the Farseer leading the Eldar forces. The Farseer stated that some guardians had already planted a bomb in the crypt, but had been torn apart before detonating it. The Interrogator was amazed. He had also planted a nuke and lost his troops before detonation. Now the two forces must fight together to secure at least one of the Nukes and manually detonate one. Failure was not an option. Players-4 SP\'s-18 Relics-1 CLs-2 SDs-2 Best Played- Players 1 and 2 on the same team, player 1 as the Dark Angels, and Player 2 as the Saim-Hann. Players 3 and 4 will both be necrons. The game rules should be set to Take and Hold and Annihalate.
Arknus Fallsite Map
the underground compounds. The city is connected by a huge net of tunnels, that cut trough mountains and hills like arrows. This imperial sector has not suffered many battles in all its years, but the fall of a strange meteorite in one of the city entrances has attracted the attention to this Imperial sector. Arnkus will never meet peace again...
Tanhauser Gate
battleships float drift in space. Artifacts of great power rest in their crumbling holds. Now the fight is on, who will win control over these ships first?
Debarq
covered with water. The \"Commander Pyrhus\'s will\" has been sent and landed with two companies onboard near a well defended beach. The task is to break through the defenses whatever the cost. However, Pyrhus never got hold of the beach and has been removed for cowardice. Can you do better now??? Expect a fierce a defense and lots of counter-attacks. The enemy has very strong support and will make full use of it!!
Overkill Guardsmen
on a Dingo that only has 128 HP? That is overkill. 150000 damage on a unit which by default has between 600-1000 HP, is genocide. Plain and simple. :p Well, this minimod from Hoggins sets your Imperial Guardsmen to do a minimum damage of 150000, and a maximum damage of 20000 (I\'m going to assume on good faith that it\'s supposed to read 200000, but the last zero got cut off ;) ). Obviously, don\'t play with either the CPU or another human player playing as IG, or you\'re totally shafted. Which is also an understatement, but I\'m not allowed to use the word I\'d like to use. Strictly a fun mod, a boredom mod, or a mod for those times when you just want to mercilessly slaughter helpless armies. ~ Kouen
A Bridge Too Cake pack
those bridge points right away and build them up so your opponent will have to cross past razor wire under fire. You\'ll have to fight down in the river bed for the rest of the points, while trying to stay under some cover.
Close Quarters (2p)
says the map is really small, and the name is close quarters...it\'s definitely true. This map is beautifully detailed and allows some to now hone their rushing skills. This is completely worth the time it takes to download it so please, give it a try. Enjoy! :rock:Talon:rock:
Scheme (Fixed)
homework is a dream I\'m sure many of us have held at some point in our lives. :p Well, at least this map is different, and in a good way. Sure, it\'s kind of basic, and sure, maybe the entirety of the raised platforms is heavy cover (\"It\'s over, Anakin! This high ground adds a +5 to my agility!\" \"HAX!\") but for all it\'s simplicity, the map looks good and plays well. Since an abundance of strategic points appeared to be an issue with the last version, you\'ll be glad to know that this version has less SPs. There\'s still quite a few, but if you dislike a lot of SPs in your map, you\'ll be far more comfortable with this version. ~ Kouen
Now, I\'m not entirely sure what\'s fixed, to be honest, as I never encountered any problems with the previous version and iWann didn\'t mention anything about bugs in the email. Allegedly some people got decal errors, so that\'s probably what has been fixed, if said errors were on the map\'s part. Unlike the Normal SP version, this version has the same high concentration of SPs as the initial release. More SPs naturally equals more pressure, since neither you nor your opponent won\'t need to worry about resources and thus can keep the battle going constantly, so if that\'s your style check this one out. ~ Kouen

Forest Of O'Shar
with uneven terrain, a decent amount of areas impassible, few strategic points (and thus limited resources), and only one relic which is likely going to be the most important strategic element. There's not too much in this map that's really significant if you exclude player elements. It's just your generic wilderness area with no landmarks or anything. Seems about average size for two players, but felt kinda small when I played it. I did find that holding the relic was the main challenge, so the map is likely going to revolve around that. Given the close-quarters and rough terrain, it plays out at a pretty fast pace, and smaller units come in more useful than the bigger ones. Maybe it has some relevance to Warhammer canon that I'm not aware of, who knows. Not a bad map, though. Just a little too oriented towards rush tactics for my personal taste. If you like your maps to place you and your enemies in a CQB scenario and pile on the pressure, you'll probably enjoy this one. ~Kouen
The Hunters
I could not wait to play this when we received it...just as balanced as always. This one IS DEFINITELY worth a download....Enjoy! :rock:Talon:rock:
Testcake
spent on texture placement. I can\'t give it full marks, as there are no custom textures and nothing particularly innovative, just a good strong map. Hope we see more from this guy! Thanks Victor.
50 States Banners & Badges Pack
pretty good. Give it a download. I made the screenshots for this to show all of the flags within it. Enjoy! :rock:Talon:rock:
Desert Isle (2p)
the map look very nice. He says there are some issues with the minimap, but come on, it's his first attempt. So, here it is, Enjoy! :rock:Talon:rock:
Ambient FX
randomly into certain matches depending on if you check the box. These weather effects also come with either provided a bonus or punish your troops in some way from visibility to moral regeneration. Kinda cool and adds a new twist to gameplay...go ahead, give it a whirl. It\'s a small file too. Enjoy! :rock:Talon:rock:
Imperial Outpost (4p)
balanced just the relic units have extreme difficulty moving to the other side of the map as there are some movement issues. THis is pretty fun though if you are more accustomed to dealing with armies in which the relic units won\'t be able to really change the tide of battle. Other than that, it is a fairly decent map. I\'d give it a download. Enjoy! :rock:Talon:rock:
Summit (4p)
this is a nice refresher to those. All in all, it is definitely worth a download, Enjoy! Talon
Infantry Only
dude(ette)s! :p ~ Kouen Okay, "lyric units" is a typo, it was intended to say "relic units". Eh, typos get us all at times. Just makin' a note, for anyone as confused as I was. :o
X3 Mod
scale warfare. This mod goes a certain length towards increasing the scale of the battles, raising squad capacity to 50 and vehicle capacity to 35, and all the limited units have had their capacities slightly boosted too. The gameplay impact of this seemingly small change isn't as insignificant as you'd think. Since both you and your enemies have more firepower to bring to bear, you'll need better use of micromanagement, and having a larger force opens up a larger range of viable attack strategies. Although no doubt rushing and pushing will probably still be the popular ones. Maybe. Rawr. Believe it or not, the AI actually understands the concept of flanking and pincer attacks, so watch your back. Research costs are also tripled, so you'll need to invest a little more carefully. There are also apparently some other minor changes, but to be honest, there wasn't much different that was noticeable for me. Maybe someone who has actually played the game without modding it to the eyeballs will spot something different. This was designed as a personal mod, so it's not going to be for everyone, but it's a good mini-mod all the same. ~ Kouen
Grassland Plains (2p)
screenshot for those of you who like those. He also didn\'t specify where to extract these so just extract them like you would any other map: C:\\Program Files\\THQ\\Dawn of War - Dark Crusade\\DXP2\\Data\\Scenarios\\MP Enjoy! Talon
Sorceror with Blood
been rusted and bloody in the first place anyway, because when the words \"chaos\" and \"sorcerer\" are put together, you don\'t expect a dude in pristine armor. It\'s not a change you\'ll notice unless you get up close and personal with your units, but it\'s there and it looks good. Screenshot #1 is a comparison on medium graphics at a close-ish range, screenshot #2 is a high-detail closeup that was supplied with the file, which more clearly illustrates what has been done. ~ Kouen
Swamp of Misery (2p)
balanced. Go ahead, give it a try. Enjoy! Talon
White Out! (4p)
to make eye appealing. Anyway, hope you all enjoy! Talon

War is Everywhere
with various items for map enhancement. All in all, a fairly good map for a quick two player contest. I believe this to be the authors first map, and if I am to believe correctly, I commend him on a job well done. - Ash (Tycoon)
Battle For The Macragge
Tyranid Mod. Anyhow, for what this map is, it is fairly basic, though has a few nice features within. :) - Ash
Ice Glades
unbrilliant the map is, as the screenshots aren\'t all that revealing, so will have to let you (the community) decide on this one. :) - Ash
Guard Schemes

Halo Skin
to have missed). Regardless of that though, this should be enjoyed by those who are a fan of the Halo Games. All we need now, is for someone to actually make a Halo playable side for the Dawn of War game. ;) - Ash
The Pink Map
Forums, and someones reply (which really made me laugh) was: \"The ultimate Gay vs. Emo Playground Map (2) would fit much better as mapname\" lol! - jack051093

xx ander\'s xx Map Pack

The Bowl
to add it to the file. Just please don\'t descend into a frenzy of \"NO SCREENS, NO D/L\". Enjoy, -Legion
Midnight (Daylight Version)
whilst the map looks to be a fairly plain one, it does house a unique feel to it, and in addition to that, and from the screenshots, you would see it to be a patch of grassland and relative vegetation, though in the middle of a dense landscape. Makes for a good map anyway. :) - Ash (Tycoon) Note to Author - For future referemnces, please remember to submit only .JPG images, and not .BMP ones. Lucky for you, I was in a good mood and converted them via Paint for you, but please do remember for future reference. Thanks. :)
Caracore
anyway, I can't say that for a fact, as I've not tried the map). Regardless of which, this map looks to be a fairly good one, if not a little dark - this you can see from the screenshots. Whilst the map is dark though, I've no doubt people will be able to play and enjoy this map. In addition to the standard terrain, there are the odd trees, and streets surrounded by strategic points and such. Not a bad map here, lets have some feedback on the humour side of things, shall we? :) - Ash (Tycoon)

Junglewar
than Into The Bloody Church, but still worth to play. Im sorry about the mini-map, both in this map and in Into The Bloody Church. There are something wrong when i take the pictures, and it would probable allways be like that. So im sorry that, but still hope you will enjoy the maps. xxandersxx
**Also, please note that the readme given was for "Into the Bloody Church" not for Junglewar, so not all the info is correct, but the install info is still the same.

Psychic Warfare
can\'t provide you with the screenshots, because they were all in the wrong format. Still, this is a great map so, enjoy! -Legion
Tamrar: A Battle Resurfaces
are using. The map is a mix of a forest based map and open land with some rocks covering the ground so it should allow for some open combat and close fighting in the game.
Shas\'la Desert
ruins that were once inhabited by an Ancient Race. This map is mainly a desert map with an outpost , some ruins and a barren wasteland covering most of the map.
Rive of Ti\'Qwa
despite despite finding themselves pinned on the opposite side of the river. Who will win, only you can decide that. The map itself is mostly barren and has almost no value, although there is a river that you will have to fight accross during the battle.
Nother Oasis
contains four relics, four strategic points and one critical location which is located in the Oasis. Unfortunately most of the map has a lack of scenery however this map is highly recommened for those that want to fight over an Oasis.
Canyon Battle
gaps, highly recommended for anyone that wants to have close combat in close quarters. The map itself is fairly plain but it does have the above mentioned advantage which some players might go for.
Might of The Imperium Badges
Starfleet and the Terran Empire? from Star Trek on some of them. Highly recommended for any W40k or even star trek fan!
Into the Vally of the Gnarlocs (Beta 0.1)
same time there is another fight where the winners of either fight will get to join in on the other fight as reinforcements to the main battle (I hope that didn\'t confuse anyone :D). Unfortunately as this is a Beta the textures haven\'t been finished and the AI doesn\'t know what to do in this map. Also unfortunately there aren\'t any screenshots for this file.
Football Club Logos
Barcelona, Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, Besiktas, Inter Milan, Juventus, Olympique Lyonnais, Sevilla, Bayer Leverkusen, Werder Bremen, Celtic, Chelsea, Panathinaikos, Real Zaragoza, PSV, Real Madrid, Shalke 04, Bayern Munich and Manchester United. Highly recommended for anyone that wants to see their favourite teams logo in game.
Desert Bowl
objects in the map although there is a lot of sand to explore therefore may be a little empty to some people. There are 12 Strategic Points, three critical points, one relic and three slag depositis included in the map. An interesting map based apparently off of Dune, so highly recommended for those that want to see a Desert Map!
Into the Smeech
screenshots, because the ones included, were .bmp images. - jack051093
Imperial Guard Wallpapers
download, now! Killa  P.S.
i don\'t have photoshop
i dont beleive you!

Skull Hill
insane. Set deep in Chaos territory, the island is causing heretic to fight heretic in a disturbing war driven by madness! -Legion
End of Time
believe, the center of the map is actually pitch black. At least, that is what it looks like from the screenshots. Good map this one ;) - Ash
Two Sides
developer who knows how to use Paint, just not how to change a picture to .JPG format. Anyhow, as said, the screenshots are included (in .BMP format) and from them, this is a simple two player map, with two alternative sides, one being a city, the other being grassland, and a bridge of which connects them. - Ash
Khorne Worshippers
questions, this pack is for you. Complete with badge and banner this Khorne based set even features a Bloodthirster on the badge. -Legion
Jungle Boogie
Whilst fairly basic, this map does look nice, and has a genuine feel to it. It isn\'t too overdone, nor does it include pointless accessories like some. - Ash
Dawn of War Skirmish
intense and satisfying AI opponent on the field of war. We hope you will agree that has been achieved with the understanding more is to be done in the future. Our work continues to evolve and in the coming months will make current efforts pale in comparison. However, you have to start somewhere and hot damn what a jumpstart! Its been a slice from start to, well, continuing! We're so looking forward to enhancing the AI even further in the coming months!
- Ash
Thermopylae
was a narrow pass, allowing an elite, small force to hold out against a tide of conscripts. This map imitates that location superbly, going as far as to add red-cloaked heretic corpses as Spartans. Well made, this is great for history-lovers like me, fans of the film '300' and those looking for an intense 3 vs 4 war. -Legion
Lost in Time and Space
worked out, and has its own feel to it. A job well done. - Ash
Ork Territory
think we can cut him some slack (even though he has done a fairly good job with it) :) - Ash
Warskinner (FC & Servitor)
changes the look of the Imperial Servitor, and Force Commander (of which looks fairly nice) ;) - Ash
4p Mine all Mine
locations in the centre for an intense war in the middle. Great, high-pressure action. -Legion
Tinus City
roads, and buildings, and... did I mention roads? And there a few strategic locations and such scattered about too. In addition to that, could pass as a maze (though an easy one). Not one of Jazzah\'s best by far, but still, should make for a fairly interesting game. - Ash
Storm of Iron
measuring 256x256 in size. I\'m sure the author would be grateful if you supported his work by downloading this file :). - Guzzy
Supreme Commander Badge and Banner set
of it in Dawn of War. Good for theming or just general fun, as the symbols themselves look cool anyway. -Legion
