[b] Instructions [/b] I noticed a few of you left comments saying you couldn't get it working, so i tested it and got it working... now just do as follows -Download, extract to your Farcry directory -run the batch file located in your farcry data folder, it's called "install" -then go into the scripts folder located in your farcry data folder, and copy the file called "scripts.pak" and paste it in your farcry - data directory.. if you already have a scripts.pak then rename the file that you are copying to scripts2.pak, if you already have a scripts2.pak then rename it to scripts3.pak.. then it should work for you :) -to use just start a new campaign and check the box that says "god mode", if your playing and your health decreases it doesnt mean its not working... your health will restore to the full amount if you lose all your health

Far Cry which adds tons of new stuff such like skins, models and also new AI scripts. This version 1.1 includes a few Multiplayer fixes, but the main effort was clearly put into the SP mode which was one of the very few points of critism in the previous version. Almost everything there changed, you will now even have a harder time in staying undetected by the AI than already in the original game, and the bots will use team tactics a lot more intelligent. In addition to this all ingame weapons have been overworked in hit points to give the player a totally new and much more realistic game experience. Of course we do not want to forget the graphical and sounds aspect, almost everything here was redone, including totally new skins for weapons and vehicles, and much more canon sounds which will add a totally new atmosphere to the game. If the graphics of Far Cry impressed you so far I guarantee this will kick you out of your socks. The last issue beeing fixed is the installer, everyone who had problems with 1.0 caused by a bug in the AVG Anti-Virus program will not have to worry any more since The D.O.G. uses a totally new installer program which works perfectly fine. With mentioning the installer it should also be noted that The D.O.G. has taken well care about another community complaint so it is now possible to deinstall the mod without screwing up the entire game. However a backup install is still recommended, just in the rare case of eventually still existing bugs. You should note though that I tested it on my game 3 times without experiencing any problems. Well guys, that is all I can describe, but believe me the experience you are going to have with this mod will leave you totally speechless from stunning. :) This is and hopefully will be a must-download for a very long time, and very special thanks to The D.O.G. for sharing this piece of art with the community. :) Pille

into debris, how fun is that?! Now, when you have an excessive amount of ammo in your possession, and on the ground, you can take a few minutes for some target practice! The Destruction vs Debris mod is sure to be a hit, although, it is tad bit on the heavy side of the resource intensive scale; I, for one, hope that later versions will address this issue. If you happen to get to much lag, you will need to reduce you settings some, until you find a happy medium between the fun-factor and playability. I would suggest this download to anyone, especially if you like a bit of realism in your game...cuz lets face it, when you shoot a large calibre weapon, you expect a bit of dmage (or a lot, depending on what stops the projectile) to ensue... A hot-air balloon carrying five passengers and a dog escapes from Richmond, Va., during the American Civil War. It is blown off course and deposited near an obscure island. One of the castaways nearly dies after a skirmish with pirates; he is saved by the unexplained appearance of medicine after the pirates are unexpectedly routed. The group later discovers that their secret helper is the reclusive Captain Nemo (first introduced in Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea), who dies and is buried at sea in his submarine. As the game progresses the avatar\'s involvement in the story increases, adding to the emotional immersion of the player. As the characters\' relationship strengthens, new possibilities become available, almost like leveling up, and the characters gain new abilities. The exploration of the space reveals the story of the world, and so becomes an inherent part of the narrative, potentially engaging the user further and increasing their emotional involvement.

K9 Vision Mod

Everything from weapon sounds to the pretty fishies in the water have been revamped or altered. This does not affect anything patch-related such as weapon balance, game speed, physics, etc. Think of it as a cosmetic face-lift for Far Cry! [b]Multiplayer:[/b] A COMPLETE overhaul of ALL existing textures (guns, vehicles, scopes, world detail) and key sounds (all player weapson, items, explosions, etc). I have also added a victory "ballad" (runtime ~15 secs) to every flag capture, adding a heightened level of tension after each "cap". The mod is compatible with all game types and all game patches (most importantly v1.31). New loadscreens have been included for ALL MP Assault maps, including the new ones from the official CryTek and Unofficial FC Community Packs! [b]Single Player Campaign:[/b] Virtually all world detail objects and textures have been revamped. In some cases, like rocks, flora and fauna, the details are mostly "cosmetic". In other cases, the vehicles such as the C130 and Humvee, details and textures have been vastly improved. Whereas traditional mods require being run from the 'MOD' menuscreen, K-9 Vision does not. The reasoning is two-fold: 1. Loading a mod from the 'Mod' menu requires Far Cry to restart - time consuming and if you try to go online, you will have to restart Far Cry AGAIN just to get on a server (since the server will most likely NOT be running the mod). 2. Traditional mods are NOT Multiplayer server compatible - unless a server is running the same mod that you are, you will NOT be able to get on. Rather, you will be prompted to REBOOT Far Cry and play at factory defaults. That is all fine and well, but as many of us have been playing FC for 6 months now, it WOULD be nice to spice multiplayer up a bit, thus... This mod runs straight from the Desktop (from the custom 'Wolf-Dog' icon I provided, if you choose). This method does not require a reboot, and also speeds up load time, as the Ubisoft, Crytek, and Sandbox Editor splash screens have been removed. You will now have the added benefit of new weapon skins, sounds, effects, and more during online gameplay. No more having to wait for a mod to catch on large enough so that a suitable number of servers have it running. Last time I checked, 100% of all servers are running standard Far Cry as the mod - so not much hope there. With K-9 Vision, however, you can jump on any server you like without having to worry about what mod the server is or isn't running. [b]Note:[/b] The recent troubles were caused by a bug in all AVG based virus-scanner versions, if you get a warning there is no need to worry, this file is clean!

Now, when you have an excessive amount of ammo in your possession, and on the ground, you can take a few minutes for some target practice! The Destruction vs Debris mod is sure to be a hit, although, it is tad bit on the heavy side of the [i]resource intensive[/i] scale; I, for one, hope that later versions will address this issue. If you happen to get to much lag, you will need to reduce you settings some, until you find a happy medium between the fun-factor and playability. I would suggest this download to anyone, especially if you like a bit of realism in your game...cuz lets face it, when you shoot a large calibre weapon, you expect a bit of dmage (or a lot, depending on what stops the projectile) to ensue... you may not like the changes made, and some of you will except what was sacrificed to achieve this realism...either way, this is a definate must have! Some of the features of this mod that adds to the realism are: RocketLauncher removed. Shocker added. P99 (silenced with 3x scope) added. Realistic reload added; can be turned on/off server-side with \"ra_reload 0/1\". Crosshair can be enabled/disabled server-side with \"ra_crosshair 0/1\". Health, armor, ammo, runspeed etc. of each class changed. This mod makes for a fun change in pace, and adds an element of uncertainty to the game, especially if the server running the game has crosshairs turned off, players have to pause for that extra second or two before shooting as the names don\'t come up when you point at somebody with your weapon; My fave feature is the removal of the rocket launcher, every game has one of these, and every game has someone who is constantly blowing the crap out of the opposing team.

Note: After installing the game, some files (.bat files to run the mod and the menu system in html/java format) will be installed into your bin32 folder.
