catch though (a good one, although not everyone will agree), this will disable online multiplayer to Prevent any cheating online. This will also allow for modifications to work within GTA IV, as by default most mods won't work in GTA IV apparently. sound files and infact almost any part of GTA IV and have the ability to export almost anything including the models, textures and scripting withing the main game itself. This is probably one of the most powerful and best tools that you can have for GTA IV. It should be noted that this program is a beta version, so it may have some bugs but it does work with the latest version of GTA IV (and all of the previous versions). As always it is highly recommended that you back up all of your files before you install any modifications. You will also need to use XLiveless or any similar tool to install and use any of the Modifications in GTA IV. GTA IV - Aud - Audio Replacement Utility
does not support the showing of filenames however, since the filenames for audio files are not stored in the ivaud archives themselves. This program will allow modders to export, and reimport audio files of any length into existing ivaud archives. There are a few limitations to this program which are mentioned in the readme below, but this is a useful program for those that would like to import or export sounds into / out of GTA IV
