GTA SA Downgrader Patch
edition does not allow any modifications to work (i.e. it crashes). This modification is highly recommended for those that have the second edition of the game that want to try some of the mods such as the vehicles or map mods avaliable.

New! Gta San Andreas downgrade v2.0 to v1.0
Apparently this one will also work with the steam version of the game. This downgrade patch should work with all of the modifcations that have been created for the game, including the CLEO mod (instructions have been included below or in the readme) [quote]Welcome to the NEW! downgrade of Gta San Andreas. Using this tool, you can look at any section of GTA 3, Vice City or San Andreas just by choosing one of the map areas to look at. This would be an excelent tool for making new mods for. Please note that it is highly recommended that you back up any files, just in case you do not like this modification or it messes up your game and also to make sure that you don't delete something that is required for the game to work in this case.
