be played with other people, not to mention, the team added in many things. One example is the sven RPG, you can choose your class, and you can level up your character, might I add, those are tough sheep :P. Weapons wise, they replaced alot of models on different maps, and added in several others ie, dual uzi's, in the rpg I used the cross as a pistol, now thats some god fearing power(In seven days god created earth, In sven days god created the cross glock). At some points in the game, I was wondering when the hell I was going to find a new gun, or some ammo for that matter, which bites because the team also added some brand new enemies, which may seriously open up a can if you arent careful. They also built in an mp3 player, which is really sweet, however the mp3s have to be on the same HD as sven in order to work. In the end, I recommend the download if your in for some very hard mod action, just remember to use the pistol at long distances :D.

This version reduces monster numbers, types and strengths to levels much more comparable to the originals, making it perfect for LAN or small Internet games. There is one known issue: While the final boss battle works well enough, the map does not change once the players are successful (you need to change the map manually, wait until the time limit is hit, or change the map via a vote). This is a code bug that should be fixed in Sven Co-op 3.5.

I hope to provide a map pack update once every 7 months, with the next release around June 2007. Unfortunately with my self doing level design as a day job now, I am unable to enjoy making maps for Sven coop as much as I use to, so these packs are my contribution to the community instead - But hey lets hope nipper comes back, and makes some more cool levels for us? This patch includes 99% of the Sven Coop maps released on the Sven Coop mapping forums between the 17th April 2006, and 17th December 2006. For server admins (and finding out my self, how fun unzipping a zip file can be off site) this package is only a ZIP file. There are 63 maps total[/i]

It will not leave any new software, other than the maps, on your pc. The installer is also gives much better compression ratios than a standard zip file. The installer will NOT overwrite any existing maps of the same name in your installtion folder. This is to prevent the archive overwriting any newer versions of the maps you may have installed. It will however update any older versions of the maps you may have installed. Installation is one way, to uninstall you will have to manually delete the installed maps. If you want to install this on a HLDS, and the installer won't locate your installation directory you will have to manually locate one. You will need to point it to your svencoop directory. Though most are set in the Half-Life universe, Sven Co-op’s mapping features allow map developers to create their own, unique experiences for players, ranging from realistic military missions to medieval RPG themed adventures. Sven Co-op is the ultimate Social mod, ideal for LAN parties or for playing with small groups of friends. There is a lack of competitiveness between players; you\'ll spend your time enjoying yourself rather than trying to beat the top scorer. Participants tend to build strong bonds with others, as they are required to work together and heal each other, this has been shown through the strong community. setting it to whatever value you have in listen/server.cfg minus 1, or plus 4 or 5. I am currently trying to figure out a way to fix this and/or enforce the sv_visiblemaxplayers that you set. If you get a lot of latency complaints, try disabling WinHL-Booster (simply remove it from /addons/metamod/metamod.ini). And if that doesn't help, you will have to edit qwertysping.cfg and lower the values for booster_autofps and sys_ticrate accordingly. 500 should be decent for slightly high-end machines, 333 is considered optimal for the majority of machines, and 250 for less powerful machines. Machines that are considered to be on the high-end of the spectrum might be able to get away with 1000. Also try setting the CPU priority on your server to "High."

the infamous Black Mesa incedent. To start off, there were tons of assassins, male and female, streaming and summersaulting everywhere. Got rid of them, and found a mini-turret that couldnt aim very well. I just crouched and it didn't hit me once! I did see the gunfire, so it wasn't like it had an obstruction in the way. Next room, there was a fight between alien slaves and *more* assassins, then you hear this alien sound and can't figure out where its coming from. Untill, of course, you respawn... Shock Trooper (electric alien thing) up above and behind you. I didn't like the stairs, though. They weren't all even, you had to jump on some, instead of "gliding" up them. *Extention* Gave me an "empty ambient" error and quit. *Hostage* Came into a big courtyard with plenty of marines for a while of play, and immediately I BLEW UP without cause, and got a fatal error: "level design error". I thought "Too true" ;) Hmmm... Next map. *Don't remember the name* I started out behind a gate, and my faithful torch-dude working on it. He got it open, and I went through. They (torch-dude and soldier) didn't follow :( So much for faithful :lol: It says my objective is to get into the complex. Hmmmmm, this is a hard one. Maybe I should go to the BIG RED TARGET?!? Yes, once you get there some explosives appear and barely give you a chance to escape. I went inside and...whoah! *I guess you'll have to download this for yourself to find out what the "whoah!" is...* -Amp_

Official Federal Rifle : High velocity rifle, provided with a scope. 3. Vindico Plasma Sniper Rifle Sw : this weapon shoots ionised shell on very long distance. The shells can rebound on obstacles. 4. Croon Nm 33 Sniper Rifle : Appreciated by assassins for his velocity and precision. 5. Saan Auto Shotgun : Weapon from the technologic middle age, this shotgun can shoot burst in your head. 6. Many of these exist in classical form but also in hunter (as in Space Hulk) Some specificity from the mod : - Management of the weight of the equipment, which have an influence on the player speed - Management of the shoot position and the movement, which have an influence on the accurate. -Realistic management of the weapon kick, particularly for the render. - Particles engine, which can simulate snow, rain, flames and smoke - management of critical, perfect, failed and really failed hits. - Random damages as in role playing game. - Localized and realistic damages, but people don't often shoot on me in the reality. -IA : Management of squad’s strategy. Management of the courage and the moral. Management of the behaviour : When an enemy see another dying or being wounded, he runs to see what's happening. If an enemy hears suspect noises, he's going to patrol where he hears the noise. If an enemy is wounded, he searches where come the shot and if he don't find he takes cover. Every suspect changes result in a patrol. All of these runs for every enemy, but some ones have a better perception. That's why werewolves and demons slaves cannot be surprised.

While blasting your way through seemingly endless waves of aliens, your team has to fulfill several objectives, that differ from mission to mission, which have to be completed before your team is the successful winner of the round. But one thing is for sure: a smoking gun barrel. Paroxysm's gameplay is fast-paced and breathless as the aliens pour on your team and try to tear you and your teammates apart. For each kill you're awarded with a certain amount of Reputation Points. The amount of RPs awarded depends on how you kill an opponent. If you just tossed a grenade into a bulk of aliens or shot them to pieces with your Assault Rifle makes a difference. Paroxysm isn't just for trigger-happy people, but for skilled trigger-happy posers. There is even more to know about the gameplay: at the beginning of a round a Teamleader is elected. He automatically gains the best armor and may choose from the advanced weapons and equipment without thinking about on what to spend the hard earned Equipment Points. EPs are calculated from your RPs that you have been awarded with during the previous round. But there aren't only advantages for him, but also for his teammates. When you stay close to your Teamleader you benefit from his presence. He emits a morality bonus that increases your accuracy, your weapon's punch and even your resistance to damage, so you can get your share of partying even when you're not Teamleader. Those have been the basics about Paroxysm's gameplay. If you're a fan of smoking guns, tons of empty shell cases, hordes of enemies and great effects, then Paroxysm is definitely for you.

It's not the most exciting job in the world, but it pays good and you get lot's off free donuts. As usual, those scientists create black holes and open gates to other alien worlds filled with creatures who eat human flesh for lunch. Nothing special, but this time, they really messed it up and those aliens found a way to our planet. And guess what, you are in the middle of all this. While Gorden Freeman kicks alien arse, Corporal Adrian Shephard fights Freeman and Barney Calhoun tries to save some scientists, you just try to save you own butt and get the hell out of Black Mesa. It's a bigger mess you have to clean up this time... Changes to Co-op Conversion: - Converted 17 maps into 10 maps. - Added extra monsters. - Added SC 3.x Features/Weapons - Grunts changed to SC 3.0 SD Grunts with heads/weapon customisations. - Balanced gameplay - Balanced weapon loadout. - Added extra detail in some area's to match the setting. - Added extra area's for transitions between maps. - Reworked lightmap - Optimised node paths

Svencoop: Earthquake Test Center Map

I found a hazard suit room, in which a "Mad Scientist" was running around. He had the title of "monster, and had 8 health (???). There was the legendary (or not so) G-Man behind a pair of doors, which weren't accessible. I have never seen him in a MP map! Untill now, of course, but I am wondering how the maker got it to trigger him walking! Anyway, I still didn't have a weapon and eventually found a crowbar. Otis? Hmmm crowbar is in the room with otis. So I went back AGAIN through the long halls, and couldn't find what to do next. I was frusterated so I went back to the Sci with 8 health. I beat on him with my crowbar, and got him to... negative 1000 health?!? There was another scientist (a calm one) by a window and he died x.X I came up with a startling revalation: "I should get Otis to follow me to the locked door and open it!" So thats what I tried. He wouldn't follow me, so I had to "push" him, and then 2 hours later when we arrived at the door, he wouldn't do a thing! Then I wanted a gun, so I whacked Otis and he started shooting me, therefore I killed him : ) He didn't drop the gun! Time for next map to review! The other maps worked fine in this mission, although I would suggest starting at the second map, not the 1st. Have Fun! Edit: Wow, sorry if my ignorance (or lack of sleep) caused you trouble, but to go through the "locked" door, just hit it with your crowbar, and it will explode and open, taking 5 health from you. You then proceed to get a machine gun and shotgun and hordes of grunts await... Download Now!
