Dragonball Z. The mod includes nine of your favorite characters who are able to duke it out using numerous beam attacks as well as close hand to hand combat. ESF mixes both elements to bring players intense fast paced with a twist of strategy. Each character is geared towards a different style of play. Some are meant to mainly use energy attacks, while others have the advantage in melee fights, no matter what style of fighting you like to use, esf has a way to accommodate you.
Earth Special Forces has been in the making for the better part longer then 5 years. The team continuously tries to push the half-life engine to it's limits in order to produce the most playable accurate Dragonball Z game around.

Naruto Naiteki Kensei - Full Client
experience based on the hit Japanese anime Naruto. Combining aspects of a third-person shooter and an action-based fighter, players will be able to go head-to-head against others online casting clever and powerful jutsus, performing evasive, acrobatic, and free-form movement and melee, and utilizing an array of weapons with multiple functions easily and evenly. Players are able to transverse through full 3D environments, utilizing various ways of movment such as walking on walls and water or dashing around the streets of a village. Gameplay consists of three main systems: weapons (#2-0 or mouse scroll), jutsus (holding shift and inputting a combination of WASD keys), and taijutsu or melee (#1 slot). The weapons included have both primary and secondary functions for each one. Players are able to use kunais as a melee weapon and are able to throw them. Shurikens can be thrown one at a time yet accurately, or multiple stars in a spread-out shotgun manner. Exploding tags can be stuck on surfaces and players, as well as being able to throw one connected to a kunai. The jutsu system allows players to execute powerful jutsus or techniques. By holding shift, players will then input combo strings of 2-4 using WASD on the keyboard. Correctly inputting a combo will then execute its respective attack. The taijutsu or melee system is very simple to learn, yet takes much skill to become the best. The primary function allows players to attack consecutively for five hits, then sending your player sliding back. The secondary function allows players to knock their opponents to the air, where various other methods of attack can then be executed, such as throwing a weapon or performing a jutsu, or jumping in the air to execute an air combo. The first release will consists of Team 7, which includes Hatake Kakashi, Haruno Sakura, Uchiha Sasuke and Uzumaki Naruto. Roughly, each character will have three character-specific jutsus to use at his or her arsenal. Naruto: Naiteki Kensei is a free online multiplayer game, created as a fan-project for many others to enjoy. It is a total-conversion of Half-Life 1, meaning the game was created based on the Half-Life engine. In order to play, an installed steam client (www.steampowered.com) and an installed copy of Half-Life through steam is required.

Half-Life: Vampire Slayer - Chapter VI
(running, jumping, close attack) against the Slayers, who have weapons. The Vampire myth lends itself to other playability ideas, such as staking, drinking blood to recover health, etc. The myth also lends itself to interesting settings for maps. The game is played in rounds, once you are dead you must wait until the next round starts. This shouldn't be too long and there are 'observer camera' modes for you to follow the remaining action. Vampire Slayer comes with built in bots so you can play single player games offline too.

reminder that this version is alpha, its allot worse then the new Earth Special Forces Beta version. [b][u]NOTE!!![/u][/b] You need the Alpha fmod.dll to play it. The fmod.dll is located in this rar file. And you have to put the fmod.dll in your half-life folder and make a backup of your old fmod.dll. If you do not do this, then the game will not work. Just be sure to make a backup of the fmod.dll file, so you can put it back later again when you are tired of the alpha version. The file located in the rar is called esf alpha fmod.dll, make sure you rename it to fmod.dll, and overwrite the other file when you made a backup of it, and you should put the fmod.dll in your "half-life" folder.

surely is the map pack for you. You can see the description of all the 3 maps below: [*] The first map is s2k_tournament. Its a map of the Bodukai tournament in Buu saga. It has a switch that activates the crowd. [*] The second map is s2k_tournament_duel. This map is made specially for 1 on 1 fights. If you fall out of the ring and stay on the floor for 3 seconds you die. The 3 second limit is there so you cant be thrown out of the ring. This map also has a switch for the crowd. [*] The last Map is s2k_tournament_destroyed. This is the same place as the other 2, but in a different light. During the tourny Goten blew away a small part of the roof and after Vegeta turned Majin he made 2 big holes into the stands. Basicly thats it. There is no crowd in here eather since they all ran away in panic.

with these new builds. The file hlds_i686 is taken from an older Half-Life Dedicated Server Linux build (2738) which seems to fix the problem. Probably this file would fix the same problem for any Half-Life modifikacion Linux dedicated server, however the solution was made specifically for Earth's Special Forces.

ESF is a fast paced, 3rd person fighter based on the hit anime, Dragonball Z. Select your favorite character and fly, power up, transform, melee, and beam your enemies into pulp. Each character is given signature moves and abilities to compliment different style of play. Some are stronger in hand to hand combat, others are better with energy attacks. If a human is killed, he respawns as a Zombie on the Zombie team. Soon, more and more humans have joined the ranks of the zombies, until there is only one human left, facing all of the zombies alone. I think so. The models are well done, and the effects compliment the models well. Gameplay-wise, ESF is one damn hard mod. I was quietly flying around, minding my own saiyan buisness, until some person playing as Cell knocked me flying to the ground, and while falling, and lying on the ground, he manged to charge up a large beam and pretty much nuke me while I was lying on the ground. Musically, the ESF team decided a more punk approach, which isnt really my genre, but in most places it suits the mod. In my opinion, this is a must download for anyone who wants something new in halflife, rather than guns(now we have special beam cannons!).

should have been since the beginning. Now, some people might like the laser sight, some might not. Some might like the crosshair while some might just want to see where they are aiming naturally via the player model. Luckily, every aspect of the crosshair can be toggled, along with the glow setting that quite a few didn't enjoy and detail textures. No more mucking around in the console. Other than that, three new maps come into play. First, RA_APathBeyond, made by yours truly. It's a medium sized map set in an seemingly abandoned Allied base in the middle of a forest clearing. However, this base is actually an advanced research station. On the menu today? New advances in the technology of vertically oriented warfare! The second map is RA_Trof2. A long time ago, this was the site of a great battle between two warring tribes of basic colors. Now it is simply a pile of dried wreckage... perfect for the Arena. And the third and final map for Beta 3 is RA_Hospital, designed by the all-talented RuMpel. You might recognize this location if you've played Afraid of Monsters. It not, go and play it and look at these screenshots again. Aside from that, two maps have received large overhauls. RA_Cliffhunger has been optimized and shrunk for smaller servers and RA_Somethingorother has received various upgrades and additions. And that's hardly all. We've got a massive list of changes that are being prepared for the next version that could very well change the way you play the game.

more patches will be released for the 1.2 series after this, the team is now concentrating fully on development of the next major Beta, Version 1.3. ESF is a fast paced, 3rd person fighter based on the hit anime, Dragonball Z. Select your favorite character and fly, power up, transform, melee, and beam your enemies into pulp. Each character is given signature moves and abilities to compliment different style of play. Some are stronger in hand to hand combat, others are better with energy attacks. Play in three different game modes, deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the dragonballs. There is a learning curve so newbies beware. This is not your normal Half-life mod.

ESF's many large scale environments. Both fast paced hand-to-hand combat and a variety of energy attacks supply players with a potent arsenal. No two characters are alike! They all have unique attacks, strengths, and weaknesses that accomidate different fighting styles. The ESF openbeta is an exact copy of what is being tested inteam. It might be unbalanced, buggy and contains some console commands to make testing easier, that could be considered hacks. If you want to play competitively at a stable server, this might not be the release for you. However, if you would like to take a look in our kitchen, you might want to check this out. No extra effort will be made to ensure things are complete or stable. The release will contain what ever new stuff has been added on that day of the release.

The trophy room is a room dedicated to the players at the Voogru server. The beta 2 minimap had everything labelled and coloured; there have been a few significant changes to the minimap, and the Author of this map hasn\'t been able to get it updated yet. But, he included a basic build minimap file, so you\'ll still have the basic mini map. Everything else should be near-b3 release. The author might darken the pulsating Nexus Mainframe light a bit, but that will be determined after a bit of testing.

TSA intellence believes the Kahraa were being smuggled aboard the ship by one of the crew. It is imparative that we regain control of that ship so that we can rescue and then interogate the crew. A cargo ship containing information on advanced light machine gun schematics has recently crashed on Alloraine, near one of the old research outposts. Bio-scans indicate that the Kharaa have beaten the Fronteirsman there, but have only recently arrived. The battle for a lonely biologic research station is about to begin.[/quote]

called \"Starved\", due to the nature of it\'s objectives. A relatively small planet had been reported to be under alien control, and due to the large amounts of resources situated on the planet, the Frontiersmen had decided to take it. However, due to few resources being available, they could only send a small number of marines. Because of this, they decided on a new strategy - to starve the aliens out. The marines conducted quick sharp attacks on the entrances to all of the underground systems that the aliens were living in, and managed to completely block off the exits so that the aliens could not reach the surface at all. After only 2 weeks, scouts sent underground reported no sign of alien life, and that the mission had been successful. The planet was free of all alien life. Or so they thought... After the ship \"Starved\" took off to return to a nearby spacestation, about 2 days into the journy, an alarm went off. Security was fairly lax due to the fact that they didn\'t expect any hostiles as the mission was a success. The alarm was investigated, and to the horror of the crew, an alien settlement was discovered in the very low decks of the ship. As nearly all of the crew had been out fighting on the planet, no-one had noticed in the virtually unused storerooms of the deck, a few aliens had managed to get past the siege blockades, and found their way to the empty ship. As soon as the alien presence was discovered, officers sealed off the sections of the ship that had been taken over, and a small but extremely competent team of marines were sent down to eliminate the alien menace.
