But i can tell you, it took a lot of time!! The author created a couple of teleports to move around the castle a bit faster. The lighting is rather cheap, but t adds the mario64 feeling...

there are alot of high vantage points as well which usually have ammo/weapon caches too, the map is quite fun to play in and you have to look everywhere for people who want your brains splattered on the streets. The map also has \"Smoky\" teleports and four hidden rooms. It is fairly well textured and the skybox gives a \"dusk\" feel to the map, nice work.

Player can run on the walls, but this is very dangerous. If a player falls off the wall, the player will be killed. Object jump will be penalized. There isn't secret rooms or other things, isn't slam (mine). Player can the physic objects drop out from the playable area.

This map is loosely based on the “Lost” TV show and is setup for deathmatch or team play. As the Combine you will want to control the old fort. And as the Rebels you will want to control the walled campsite. Both teams will always be on the lookout of hidden secrets on the island that can give you the upper hand.

finding the Resistance’s hideout and the location of their hidden teleporter. It has been reported by the Combine high command that the teleporter is somewhere in the old farm building that they have been using as a base of operations. Recent searches of the building have yet to yield any clues as to its location. The Resistance has been able to use it at night to get up into some of the higher rocky areas and rain down fire on them. The mission is to find the Resistances base and find the teleporter at all costs.

Setting: The entire modification is set at night on a small, rocky island off the coast of City 17. Rugged terrain, abandon structures, and multiple combine outposts will make escaping this island hell more than just a walk in the park. His plan: Gordon surrenders to the combine so he could be transported to the facility where the buggy was left for scrap. Upon his surrender, he found himself in a small prison facility on the rocky island, waiting for a visit from Dr. Wallace Breen who would read his sentence personally. A familiar face woke him from his deep sedation... His mission: Twist, turn, and shoot your way through 9 chapters (29 levels) and locate the buggy and find a way to return to City 17 with the stolen maps. GEARs classic Wall-Mart_v4 map. It takes place in a shopping plaza anchored by a Wal-Mart, with a Subway, Bank, and other stores. There are multiple teleports on the level, all but 3 are shown by the floating colored sprites. For map description purposes, I will use Walmart as North, and the Bank as South. *Hidden Teleport 1 - Located in North-West corner, above Explosive barrels on Western Border Wall - Destination is inside Middle/Upper Shipping container with RPG *Hidden Teleport 2 - Located in Back wall of Middle/Upper Shipping container, leads inside subway *Hidden Teleport 3 - Located on North Border wall, near 2 antenenn (from West to East). Requires a hop to get into. Leads into Teleport room, which contains charge ups, weapons/ammo & Teleports to every destination in the map, color coded. Destinations: 1- Inside Garage..N.E. Julian Cessna, a former police officer before the 7 hour war and combine takeover. You joined the 7th chapter of the rebellion in the northern outskirts of the city. The 7th is pushing south into the center of C17, but progress is slow due to combine fences and heavy combine presence. Due to your training before the war as a police officer, you are selected for a covert mission deeper into C17. Your goal is to navigate the sewers, get into the town, locate the combine generator and disable it, throwing the northern sector of C17 into turmoil and making navigation for the 7th chapter easier. You have passed the point of no return. The die is cast.

For the first twelve days of your captivity these tests seemed relatively benign. Health assessments, basic reflex tests, that sort of thing. However, as you may know, the simulation dished out on Day 13 was a series of brutal combat scenarios, and even as you wind up back in your cell on the evening of Day 13, you wonder if this is really only the beginning, and how much further the Combine will push you. The map is full of "destructables", what may seem like a normal part of the map may just collapse if it takes enough damage. Just for fun I have given a few of the jeeps a damage system; a radiator, fan and engine, which depending on the ammount of damage you inflict, will cause mild/serious side effects. All the weapons in Half Life 2 are availible, as well as respawning ammo for them, except for the Pulse Rifle\'s secondary \"pulse orb\" attack. You can expect another map coming out soon, as well, the 2nd half of this map. If you\'re a fan of zombie maps, love impossible odds, or just looking for something new, this is the map for you. ;)

Use the various ramps to the best of your ability...experiment with using the throttle in air. I mounted a turret and platform on the back of a buggy(it works although i havn\'t tried to co-op it in DM)...oh yeah, this machine CAN\'T do flips!!...try and die! The textures and lighting are a little crappy and i somewhat threw this map together in a few days, don\'t bitch about it. most of the students decided on making 3d animations in 3d Studio Max, we thought this was more fun. What you should be aware of is that none of us actually had any experience at all doing something like this. Mapping was in the beginning of this project an unfamiliar concept for us. The goal with this map was to do something that required lots of input from us; a lot of scripting, textures, new skins (Everybody in the team got their own skin ingame), sound, music etc. And we are quite pleased with the result. This is our first map after all! The concept is this: You are Gordon Freeman when he was doing his freshman year at LiTh University. Although many think he studied Theoretical Physics at the MIT that is wrong. He actually studied MedieTechnology with us. And he even was in the same team as us when we were doing a map for hl2 as a project in one the courses we were taking. To celebrate that we had finished this map we have a party and Gordon shows up, drunk as usual. Soon he passes out and wakes up somewhere far away. He thinks he is in Poland (atleast there are a polish flag on the wall) but what the heck is he doing there?!

Even though there are probably more than one ways to beat the game, there is usually one better way than others. Look for the route of least resistance, and spot any security holes in the patrol. 2. There are quite a few hidden weapon/ammo cache and sniping points. Try to take advantage of them. Remember, I would not send you into combat without providing you with the appropriate weapon and decent amount of ammo. If you find yourself using the handgun frequently, you\'re missing something. 3. Instead of confronting the automatic security system directly, try to ascertain a way to bypass the security turret if possible. Good luck. P.S. There is a well-hidden 0.357 Magnum in the map.

Specially included is an easily-accessible 'cage' to contain objects where gravity gun battles may take place. This map is ideal for team deathmatch, where each team picks a platform to control. Each platform has its own advantages and disadvantages.
surprisingly well, just watch out for flippin it over, it might get stuck pretty good. While inside, left click is fire, right is load. After being loaded the barrel will ignite and explode after a few seconds, try and launch them inside the two squares on the wall to get a ramp and pool to show.

The Antlions will scare the crap out of you if you run into them without proper weapons. + There is one [u]super[/u] physcannon in the map in the blue beam above Reactor 1. + There are various peices of rubble and destroyed objects on the ground/walls/ceiling which you can rip off if you\'ve got the super physcannon. + Weapons dropped by players dissolve. mp_weaponstay is automatically set to 1 because of that.

is physically destroyable. This map was created because I found the lack of good "duel maps"/"One on Ones" disturbing. Gameplay is fast paced due to the small area in which the players are.

some issues i had with the current versions namely, fullbrightness :sketchy: of the hl2dm version, weapons scattered everywhere effecting g-gunning stuuf and crossbow shots, the rpg was a little too easy to reach too, and general the whole styling which is a tad bland :D Tha Design: I have used elements from a map I was making with TheMisty1 based on Total Rekall, although there is no real theme to this map, more of a futuristic style. Tha Game play A big game play changed i have made was adding 5 jet pushes at the weapon locations, This can aid you in getting to the upper level where smg nades, ar2 orbs and the explosive barrels (also the floating suit charger) It also makes it a more dynamic map, you can really zip about if you catch the jet right.. I have also added 2 teleports at the magnum locations, jump in the tube and you get teleported from the upper level (pic 6) Tha Weapons: 2x Magnum - 2x xbow - 2x shotty - 2x ar2 2 xSmg nade - 2x Orbs - 4x Explosive barrles Tha Health: no pick ups but there are 4 health chargers where there was once health packs, the give 10hp per second. Levels High and is a whooping 800,000 square feet of Deathmatch playable area. Surrounded by interconnecting hallways, it provides large open spaces, yet has a surprising amount of coverage. Gigantic Pillars span to the ceiling with stairways rising to various dungeon exits out of the room. The room is ideal for all types of large and small weapons. The segmented hallways and pillars make shooting ones opponent a challenge. The outer edges of the Hall are plunged into darkness, providing some sense of cover. Half of the outer hallways are in brighter Yellows while the other half are in a dark purple. This is a good map for 4 or more people, mainly more as 4 can stay hidden from one another easily due to the size. Have Fun!

real challenge on this map is just that - to stay alive whilst somehow managing to kill people with the G-Gun and grenades (these should be the only weapons allowed) There are 16 deathmatch player spawn points. The map is set in one square room with an arched roof. it has four towers of normal barrels around the edge and between these, 8 smaller towers of flaming barrels. I have used the orange 'aim map' texture for it so as to keep the file size down. On lower end pc's frame rates may drop because of all the physics so this is recommended for higher end PC's only.
Deathmatch, although it can be used for Role Play, exploration and possibly main other ways even perhaps hide and seek. The map is essentially set in a small town where you can explore the buildings and even underground areas. There are many interactive features in the maps included such as Lights, Locking Doors, Beds, Mobile TVs cameras that actually show other areas of the map, doorbells and not forgetting the trap in the basement. This map has many custom made items included, and this map could potentially be fun just to explore to search for all the secrets around the map. There are even lightsabers included in this map! Highly recommended for those that would like to explore around the map or for those that like to role play around some of the maps or even just for the deathmatch this map will suit anyone. (Still, I'm a bit confused; if he had time to make a full compile for screenshots, why not just release that?) The map itself is solid, and while it fails to recreate the atmosphere from Gears of War, it's a faithful representation of the map. It's very well-made on a technical standpoint, but there are a few gripes. The item placement is a little sketchy, but then again, it's just as strange in the rest of the maps Valve made. Also, there are a few little spots in the map in which I get some graphical lag spikes, but it's nothing some optimization in the map can't take care of. And, lastly, I really feel this could've used a bit more custom content; nearly everything there I've seen in Half-Life 2 before. But don't let these small annoyances discourage you. Overall, I'll give this thing a 9/10; design is solid, few glitches and bugs are present, and the complaints I listed aren't really that significant. A good addition to a custom map library, especially if you happen to be a Gears of War fan.

Pretty much just a good all-round deathmatch level for those who love to see those ragdolls fall and get mangled on their way down. This is BiG-ToE\'s first map submission, and It\'s done in HDR. He recommends everyone to run it with bloom effects since the full HDR seems to make all the models look like overly-bright.

blowing your enemy up, each floor has plenty of cover points so you can hide from incoming fire and it has plenty of hidden areas for you to blast at your enemy from. The map is pretty well made but it is quite dark and you have to have your flashlight on all the time to see, and the texture on the wall could have been changed to add a bit of variety, otherwise than that, well done.

particular look. A sewer system thats somewhat flooded was going to give the map the name 'overflow', but I saw a map while playing HL2:DM that already had that name. Has a large open area (the pit) for sniping/RPG'ing. RPG is somewhat difficult to get to, though easy to defend. I had made this map a little less than a year ago, but I hadn't really learned how to optimize it. (My full vis compile time, I had to guestimate, would have taken two months.) It has finally been optimized, and I got around to compiling it. There is to be no copying, modifying without credit, or any other actions that sound like plagiarism, stealing, or illegal, done to this map.
with a large warehouse, industrial crates scattered about the place and a bridge going into the warehouse. The warehouse has power generators inside it that have a lot of cool little hiding places and it has a lot of pickups and ammo inside it. The pier outside has industrial crates dotted around it that provide hiding spots from the casual sniper and the pier has a lot of weapons dotted around it so you will never be without something to shoot with, underneath the pier there is a watery hideaway that has plenty of holes to shoot at people above you, there is also a few weapons underneath also. This map has had a lot of time put into it and is well textured and lit, well done. obstacle course type map. You start out on the bottom floor trying to get to the top. There are different puzzles you will need to get through, such as finding a switch or something. I stopped working on this map and decided to release it due to lack of interest. I will probably make another one depending if people like it or not. Remember this is unfinished. Here are somethings that I did not fix or add: -Some areas may look blocky (There is a teleporter outside of the building that is majorly blocky BUT you can see a secondary teleporter that I was working on that never got finished) - I could never get soldiers to spawn and assault so that idea got scrapped and I changed it into a maze like room. There is also a secondary path that you would have been able to take until I couldn't get it working so therefore that is also unfinished. Here are some features that the map has: - I had originally textured it all one texture until I realized how ugly it was so I changed it. - It has a total number of 4 secrets that you can find. It will come up on the screen saying you found a secret.[/quote]
razorblades up on one of the counters is so well detailed that you can actually read the little serial number near the bottom, which can be picked up and hurled at anyone, there are alot more of the well detailed stuff around, some of it can be "Deadly" for example, the rather sinister looking microwave in the back corner which you can lock someone in and fry them, there are alot more traps also, some will suprise you. There are alot of hidden crawlways that will take you to hidden areas of the map (The little holes in the chairs that you can pop out of) some are very well hidden and you might need an "Explosive" boost to reach some of the areas. Weapons and ammo are plentiful around the map, but some of the more powerful weapons are tucked away in smaller areas. There are teleporters too that will take you to great sniping spots too. Overall, this map is exceedingly well made and this map should be a welcome addition to anyone's DM server's map rotation. All the textures in this map are from HL, with surface properites and normal maps added. In this map, there is lower gravity and friction, a moving walkway, and rotating platforms which are found in the HL Xen levels. In the centre of the map there are platforms hidden underwater. 12 mini-cubes (6 of them are bonded with the other 6 and coupled with blue ring-beams), which are placed in the center of the mainhall and there is a spere at the top of the map, where the mini-cubes will stuck if you thow them on it. The animated sphere check every 5 seconds with an orange stream for the mini-cube-children. (In a next version I want to make the streams to attack the players a bit while passing him, but I don\'t konw how to do this, yet.) You can grab the mini-cubes and throw them at the enemy, that will hurt much, because the mini-cubes are very heavy. All ring-beams help you to find the mini-cubes under the midnight moon. Most of the things, which are standing around, you can pick up with the gravity-cannon to attack the enemy with. In this map You will find a lot of weapons. A very hight tower is placed at one corner of the map, where you can climb up. You can mess with all the stuff placed in the map. Two cameras are shown on two monitors, one has a switch to toggle.

this, i intent too soon. There are three characters, i won't say who these are( you should download this and find out for yourself!!), but are played by Breen, Barney and Alyx. The scene itself I found very entertaining, and the animation, especially the faces were great. At a standard i'd expect the creators of Half Life 2 to had made it. The sound , which i would guess was taken directly off the film can be a bit 'muffly' at times, although not so much i couldn't understand what was being said. The surrounding map i didn't notice too much, but the lighting fits the scene well. I look forward to seeing what else JimmyD will produce, well done! scale intense weapon based deathmatch depending where you are in the map, as well as giving grav gun fans the chance to throw some stuff at each other on street level. Almsot the entire map is accesible including the roof area. The texture set is 99% custom and there a few custom physics objects (physbox) thrown in as well. Info nodes have been placed so there is a limited bot capability in mods such as GMOD. The map will also (with any luck) be converted to Dystopia in the coming months, seeing as the general themes are so similar (not intentionaly though!!).

Perhaps the biggest new improvement is the addition of a basement level, with a secret ladder that ascends the central pillar to a crows nest with a view of the entire map. Lots of easter eggs in this map, too.. This map kicks ass in any mode, both deathmatch and team deathmatch. It's the perfect mix of an ambush-style map and a sniper-style map. Tons of action from every direction. Go berzerk on people up close and personal, or lurk in the shadows and pick people off for hours... :)

sized Deathmatch map for Half-Life 2 deathmatch. It is based in a factory that has an incinerator deathtrap. The teleporters are a little different from the normal halflife 2 ones. If you are confused by the them, they work like the teleporters from Quake 3, where you can see through to the other side. You can throw grenades through, so watch out.

The antlions there have been quite agitative and the defensive machinery has been failing. Without operational thumpers the base is slated to quickly fall to the whim of the antlion mobs. is fairly well done in most aspects, except for the fact that the zombies can't actually overun your position. Another issue was the fog, it was done a little too heavily, so you can't see all that far in front of you. Also, you can see the edges of the map, where the walls come up, which isn't really a problem, it's just a little odd. On the plus side, you don't have too many Combine, and atleast Fast Zombies can reach the outpost and actually get in there. With more zombies and a little more work, this has the potential to be a good map.

Half-Life 2 Deathmatch map. It's a medium sized indoor level, with a lot of vertical action in some places. Connectivity is good enough to allow you to travel from a corner of the map to its opposite in a few seconds. From beta testing, it looks like 4 players are the minimum to play it.
terrain into space just waiting to be filled with insane forts! This invention of mine has completely revolutionized fort building. I call this invention Ent guns! These portable "guns" are racked in their nice wooden cases at the begining of the game, and you can easily pick them up with the physcannon and carry them around. While carrying them, you can push your use key (usually E) to spawn a block wherever you are pointing the gun! There are two guns for each type of block for each team (totalling 4 guns for each block total). The type of block it spawns is indicated by the floating replica of the prop which rotates so elegantly over the main portion of the gun. You can also carry this handy little gadget over to your fortsite and freeze it there, allowing your team to easily come by and push the button on the back of the gun to spawn a new block and carry it into the fort, or maybe you are already in the fort! This completely eliminates the hassle of running back to base to the annoying ent spawners to get a new block, and since there are two of each type, no more waiting in line for blocks! VERY IMPORTANT: A few things to know about the afformentioned guns: After spawning a block, it is temporarily "frozen" (motion disabled) in place. While this may seem great to make walls and other things, remember that the "freeze" is only temporary! You still need to place and/or freeze the block yourself! This may be nothing more than taking out the freeze gun and freezing the block there in place, but it is still necessary. There are also two moveable teleporters for each team. In the tests these haven't been all that popular, but they are still fun to play with, you can teleport to and from any two places you want! I currently have a phys_keepupright on each tele to keep them from falling over, but these tend to wear off after a few rounds for some reason so go ahead and position your tele where you want it before this happens, because after it does your probably going to end up coming out of the tele with skewed angles :-/

Shouldn't bog your box down at all. 5) The stairs are made intentionally steep so that when someone dies, they cartwheel down it like a bag of meat. 6) The towers and such are fully destroyable, and the girders can be lifted via the grav gun. 7) Try getting an enemy underneath one, then take out the structure. However you could just do a simple rotation of each player as the judge. You most likely won\'t want to lose your robot if you lose a fight, so remove ALL THRUSTERS FROM IT and leave it somewhere in the build area, this is to reduce lag caused by thrusters.

Afterwards, you drop into a pipe that launches you inside the arena, which is filled with randomly distributed props and there are 5 light sabers for each team! The saber does 11 damage per second and is held with the physcannon, but watch out! you can easily hold it backwards and end up killing yourself! Also if you really do want to kill yourself, there is a pit in the center of the room (which is very prettyful) with many large spikes at the bottom that are bound to do you some damage.[/i] [b]To server admins[/b] [i]If you yourself are experiencing excessive fps-lag or anyone in your server is complaining of lag, please use the console command "r_dynamic 0" (w/o quotes) to disable dynamic lighting. Note that you may have to instruct any clients that are suffering from this as well to do this themselves. Also the map is slightly larger than steam's dl limit, so anyone wanting to join your server will need to download the map from hl2files or another site and install it first.[/i]
death match. The obvious theme of the map is that of certain Science Fiction movies like Star Wars. The hanger area especially borrows from the death star hanger seen in Episode 6 ROTJ. The map is almost entirely built using custom textures and bump maps and relys heavily on cube maps to give a stark, shiny industrial look. Also the map is built completely with brushes including the curve work which obviously coursed Max Vert errors on several occasions which is the main reason the map is only fairly small in comparison to my last map Forsaken Monument 2, but it doesnt suffer because it makes for a far different playing experience. The map is fully BSPZIP\'d for easy server sharing. Anyway i hope everyone enjoys this latest project and i hope that it is played in many a server :)

spawners, press the USE key, and a block should appear. There is a limit of 70 on each spawner to limit spamming. Each team also has a supply trench, which contains ammo crates and health chargers. There is a tunnel for each team that bypasses many of the trenches on opposite sides of the map. Each team also has a sniper tower, two north/south trenches, and one east/west trench. This map is fairly large and complicated for a sourceforts map, so don't be surprised if the scoring is limited. Enjoy!

mostly abandoned. The arena is full of explosive barrels which respawn ten seconds after being blown up. There is a tall pole in the center of the arena that acts as a support for a few platforms that surround it. One platform is reached via a ladder; the other is accessible via a teleporter located in a partially hidden room. The map is intended for about 8 players; 12 will likely be a bit hectic, although even just 4 makes for some good fun. I find this map fun because there are multiple ways to play it. If you feel you're good with the gravity gun, toss some barrels around to try to kill your enemy. If you have better aim, fire right at your target, or at the barrels near him, in an attempt to kill him. Or, if you're better at sniping, try the top platform with the crossbow on it, but beware; there are numerous drawbacks to staying up there. All weapons but the RPG are present on this map (and obviously bugbait). They're fairly evenly distributed across the whole map so you shouldn't come across anybody "loaded". Map performance is good; if there's lots of activity your fps may dip down to how it would be in some larger areas in overwatch. This map is almost as optimized as possible. The map contains custom decals (spraypaint/graffiti logos, etc) - embedded directly into the BSP file. The main mission on this map will be for the rebels to storm the building and enter a room which will ignite the entire building up in flames. A feature for both sides is that the rebels start off on the ground with shield-like structures guarding them as they move up onto the map. They are also given RPGs to aid them while they head up to the building. The combine will have crossbows and a heavily fortified building with a rooftop to fire down crossbows and multiple windows to randomly pop out of and fire their weapons at the rebels. The weapon to be used for both sides is the AR2 and it's alternate fire. A neutral area is this tunnel that connects the rebel spawn point and the combine building. This area is to safeguard the rebels from crossbow fire, but this also gives the combine a hint where the rebels will be at. The landmark feature for the rebel side are the shields that the rebels can use for protection. Since the rebels will be climbing up a slope, the use of the shields will be very easy. The landmark feature for the combine will be the building as a base. [/i]

for the single player game in here). I have yet to test with more than a few people, but i would estimate this map to be suitable for around 12 players. The map is about where i want it to be, but i left the completion at 90% because i haven't yet had a big playtest, and there are a few minor issues i haven't gotten around to fixing yet.
a bit too early to try and make something really cool when I dont know the engine all that well. Then I discovered Valve had a contest for creating a DM map with Half-life 2 material only. I figured this was a good opportunity to learn about Source mapping before actually making my own models and textures. Mind you these screens are far from final but I hope they do show the concept well. I find it hard to make an interesting map when you have to use standard material but I tried hard to stay away from the standard Half-life-city-in-rumble-theme. Ive replaced screenshot 1 and 5 with more finished versions and added inside screenshots and some overviews. The overviews screenshots show the map from angles you cannot get to ingame and are just there to illustrate the floating island theme better. The map is done now and even though the theme is not exactly HL2 I decided to sent it to Valve contest anyway. The gameplay is just too interesting. Due to its multi leveled layout amost all firefights turn out both on a horizontal and on a vertical plane. Mouse speed 4 or higher is recommended! The map turned out much bigger then I thought itd be and it should be able to support up to 20 players. I realize there are complaints about HL2DM being a bit of a 'physics demo' cause the official maps contain (too) many props so I tried to change that a bit. Inside youll find enough props to toss about but less healthkits and batterys. Ive changed some of the larger props properties so a table cannot be used as a battering ram anymore. You can blast it away but you cannot carry it. Rest assured theres plenty heavy damage props left to toss about ;) Outside is where you can boost your stamina more easily. Outside youll find less props so a more old school DM style should be more appropriate. Off course one can change this by taking more props outside ;) The map should be incredibly fast cause you can easily get to the lower parts by jumping down (jumping down up to 4 levels will only give you 10 damage). But you can also easily get back up by jumping over the edge of the map. This will not kill you but teleport you inmediately to the light at the top of the map (Same goes for any prop thats tossed into the void) In time theyll all fall back to the map from the sky The pics: (Images are NOT filtered, sharpened or otherwise manipulated apart from being scaled down to 800x600)

You can make it in the basket, but I find it to be pretty challenging at times. There are hidden traps for the unwary, and plenty places to explore.
new kind of gametype: Capture the Thumpers. The goal is simple : each team has to capture all the thumpers on the map, in the right order (that is, from the closest of their base to the furthest) in order to win the round. The color of the steam ontop of each thumper indicates to what team it is belonging : red for Rebels, blue for Combine. That brings a real teamplay in HL²:TDM, without any mod. There is though no score counter, sorry. When a round is won by any team, everyone get killed, so each player respawns in his base. The map is also compatible normal Deathmatch, but it would be a shame such a gametype for this map !

taking the subway is essential and staying in one station is not desirable. This encourages more trains fights, which is the point of this level. Performance: Because this is a deathwatch level I tired to keep the frame rate as high as possible. Even thought I made handle bars for the subway cars, I later removed the to save frame rate which now does not dip below 30 frames per sec and averages about 60frames per second on a athlon 2800+ with gf6800 most setting maxed resolution at 1024. I tested it also on my centrino 1.3 with gf5200 and it runs well at low resolution.

opposite sides lead down to a lower level that is a small subway station with a working train that rolls through the station every 15-20 seconds or so unless you press the button in the booth to turn it off. The train pushes the player into a wall causing death. The architechture for the subway station is loosely, very loosely, based on a station in Montreal that I spent about 5 minutes in and can\'t remember the name of it. But it looked real cool. Secrets: You can phys-jump onto the roof of the center building, there\'s a crossbow and two armor batteries up there. Best way to do it is to use the radiator.

played with 4 people. There is no where to hide in this map, and all four rooms are the same. Similar style Gameplay as UT2004. GravGun is not reccommended much in this map, as the doors are not big, and not many objects, because of the map layout. This is also the first map i have made for any game ever, so I hope you like it.

Choose to control the powerful Stasis Cannon, drop players to their doom via the remote-controlled bridge, sneak among the various generators and power equipment, or run along the platforms with an arsenal of explosive barrels, crates, and wide variety in guns. The map is split up into a series of connected platforms; respectively, each section has its own benefits and disadvantages..so choose wisely. Perhaps the most powerful is the central rocket tower, where all players eventually converge. Accompanied by the attractive factory-look, Cubix, floating high up in the clouds, holds many secrets and cubbies you can use to your advantage, given that you have the knowledge of their location. Expect many players to drop to their doom as there are no hand-rails on the edge of the platforms. All standard weapons are in this map, including the so-called 'newbie gun'--the 357, although it will take skill and wit to actually get it. Freedom is the main idea in this map; blast cannon-fodder by sniping from the shadowed ledges, send down a barrage of rockets, or try the trench-run yourself; either way you'll be challenged with every step, due to the permanent hazardous edge, and trying to dodge bullets while avoiding the edge proves for some inimitable situations between opposing players. Furthermore, team-play is ideal for this map, given the various platforms. Have fun! from scratch, and not copied. I find this map extremely FAST and FURIOUS! It doesnt take many players in a server since you can get right back into the action within seconds of dieing. More than 12 people can be a bit chaotic too.

Alpha 2 changes: This is a minor update to slightly improve textures, add the 357and crossbow, fix some terrain issues,etc. More importantly, I have tried to provide simpler installation with detailed instructions included. Upcoming Changes in Beta version: -Fix warthog physics and view to more closely match original -Add Gunner position -Fix brush issues on bases -Further refine textures -Set Team Specific spawns -Merge textures into BSP to allow simpler downloading/updates.

entities used in this vehicle. Since the missles are physics based they are some-what random in how they behave (Makes it a little more challenging to hit anything). There is also a SIMPLE example MP map for half-life 2. It has two spawn points so you can try mech vs mech battles. It also has a few things to blow up with the missles (like combine, barrels, etc). Also included are vmf's so you can include this vehicle in your own map.
