script, which will set the ragdoll mode on, and also add dismemberment (Only in SP! Don\'t get excited yet.). There is, however, a reason that Raven did not implement their ragdoll function into the final game. Basically because... it sucks. The screenshots provided by the author show this well enough, but I\'ve also included a choice screenshot that I Think shows just how nicely this feature works. Raven gets -10 points from me for realisticness. In any case, this is not the author\'s fault, so if you want a quick and easy way to turn ragdoll on, download this CFG. It would be a lot better, though, if the author had also included a CFG to turn it off. ~Inyri

Force Unlimited (silver ed)

uforce_silver_ed.zip | 22.63 KB

I\'d imagine the unholy and traitorous offspring of Zeus, Dio Brando and Sylar to be. You fling lightning from your fingertips, you pretty much stop time and you toss NPCs around like paper airplanes. Oh, and you also walk through walls, clone yourself and change sides in the blink of an eye. As an added side-effect, all of your clones have full-auto versions of any boomstick you were holding when you cloned yourself. I can\'t say much more about this. The only downside I see is the lack of a \"Za Warudo!\" when one hits the NPC freeze button, but that\'s probably due to my rather unorthodox brain activity. Oh, and if you want to keep your powers up, you\'d better keep moving. They won\'t regenerate if you\'re standing still. As far as upsides go, it makes you unbeatable. You have infinite force, you spew blobs or bolts of destructive energy like a mocking child spews spit and since no one can fight you, no one can stop you. I\'ll pass, thank you very much. There\'s no honor in killing someone unable to even defend themselves, let alone fight back. Power corrupts, but Absolute Power is kinda neat. - Jose

Battle-Maker Script

battlemaker.zip | 1.79 KB

"cheat cheatsheet" You have to open the .cfg in notepad/wordpad/word processing program of your choice and insert your own keys into the configuration. Then after executing the script by the instructions below, you can essentially entertain yourself with large epic wars between stock NPCs. Honestly, I was going to say how cheap and easy this was, but honestly, I thought it over: it's actually a handy tool, if you think about it. Why? 1.) It's fully functional in both SP and MP(although cheats would simply require devmapping) 2.) The binds/commands are there for you to see. 3.) If you know your own NPC/Vehicle codes, you can just as easily insert the names over them. 4.) .Cfgs can be edited at anytime, even when the game is active, so a quick CTRL+S and you can re-exec the .cfg and swap your binds. Regardless of this, this is still a tool best used by newcomers. Once you realize the simplicity of the .cfg file and the command, you may not need them anymore. - Averus Retruthan

combat_script_v1.1.rar | 1.93 KB

that much, I decided to start off with the readme's excerpt: Quote:Would you want cool powers like dark energy & teleportation...i meant on JKIII stupid, anyway this script just does that. Pfah, little does he know that I have such powers =_> well, okay, not teleportation, but I have something similar to it...but I digress. NOW THEN, let's see what's in this script shall we? *opens it* Hm...let's see..."DARK ENERGY,""ULTIMATE POWER1 and 2," "FIRE ATTACK 1 and 2," and "DEATH BALL!" No offense to the author, but some of these attacks sound very corny XD. Now on paper and in game, they probably have more awe inspiring malevolence to them, but alas, I can only judge from this far. Perhaps the masses may know what to do with this file. I recall reviewing something similar to this a while back. While this one was still a bit corny in its labelling, it at least was scripted in a cleaner fashion. Makermod users would be wise to investigate and validate this file for themselves. =_= That, and methinks I'll inevitably need to fetch these mods so I can investigate them more in depth myself =_O. Bandwidth goes in the tray. No shirt, no shoes, no life =_=.
The majority of what I said last time seems to apply to this script. This time, the powers have been swapped up slightly....now it's DARK ENERGY, FIRE SPIT, RAGNOS' WRATH, HAZARD STRIKE, and DEATH BALL. Whether or not are those the same thing or now, I can't really say, seeing as I don't have Makermod. My, what progress I have made from my previous self-suggestion =_,= Welp, I'm turning the floor over to you all to investigate it for yourselves. Simply pick the .cfg of your language and modify the binds in the script if you wish, and ignore everything else. The script you choose binds some commands to certain keys. These commands allow you to send out certain phrases in certain languages depending on the buttons pressed while playing the game. There is also a script included for LugorMod and emotes. Now honestly, I have never had much of a problem with this sort of thing... If anyone with a 'language barrier' joined a server I run and broke what very few rules I had, I'd just kill them repeatedly until they got angry and left, or simply kick them from the server. Advanced and Duel Binding Tutorial

advanced_and_duel_binding.zip | 3.8 KB

thing I use .cfg files for is for restoring my configuration, as my computer likes to ANGER ME AND RANDOMLY WIPE THE CONFIGURATION...so just execing a copy of my configuration makes Averus happy.. However, this simple tutorial guides you through the methods of making two functions for one button, or so it seems. It is quite thorough, so unless thou art frickin retarded and/or have a brain leak, you should be able to follow through the tutorial no problem. The only downside I could see is just in the presentation. It's just a .txt, so while anyone can access it, some of our more "sophisticated" users may get in a hissy fit over it's ugly presentation. However, I personally like it's utilitarian feel and its thorough execution. At least we can read it like regular folk instead of reading: Go 2 ur Gmdatx foxlkd and do nba09j;j;aj;aoijb;a2n3g;aoi:OIJ:Q(JV:WOIEJ:OJDF: AHAHAHAHAH =_O+...o_o...>_>

Saber Color Changer

saber_color_v2.zip | 1.43 KB

essentially just reduces the amount of time it takes to change the color of my saber to the press of a button. Once you have it installed and working, you press F11 to change the color of one saber and F12 to change the color of the other (if you have dual sabers). The readme's a bit nonsensical, but the author seems to be German, because his email is listed as being at web dot DE (Deutschland / Germany). He probably used an online translator—or someone's failing English—so for you to make use of this script, I will explain what you have to do, since the readme might not make much sense to you. As long as you're not using any special mod that could mess up the way that saber color changing works (the author's readme points out JA+), this should work. Download the file, extract the ZIP, go into the extracted folder, pick up the .CFG file, and move it to your Jedi Academy GameData/base folder. Open up Jedi Academy, go into a server that does not run JA+ Mod (good luck avoiding the tyrannical monopoly), and open up the console (Shift + ~); run the console command "\exec sabercolorv2.cfg". It will ask you to (after console's closed) press the left mouse button, or rather your "Attack 1" button if not left mouse. This will enable Saber Color Changer ver. 2. Now you can press F11 to change the color of your single or staff saber and F12 to change the color of your second saber if you're using dual sabers. I had to sleep on it to figure this out, but the readme points out under the "Error|Bug" section that pressing the F11/F12 keys too many times too quickly results in the game returning an error telling you that too many commands have been given in the past few seconds, so the last input was ignored. Just wait the five seconds or so, and you will be able to use it again. And finally, the author tells us that making the script was boring. Well it's a useful little script that works well and is only held back not by itself, but by JA+ Mod's monopoly. Good job vVenticore, even though you will not understand me because you will probably just copy and paste this into an online translator (they don't work very well, you know). —Ra-Kom

I tested them out for a bit and I think I may keep this script just for fun, even though I'm not much of a filmer anymore. The only problem I found was when I went back to view the test demo I made (I had to make sure it worked, after all!) none of the slow-mo effects appeared, and of course the hud didn't show up even when it was on (pretty much a good thing). Makermod Easy Scripts

thing involving that one guy. You know, that one over there. :P So here we are, with three building scripts. Normally, I'd say "here you go" and be done with it, but I was curious about Makermod. After I found a download for the mod (on the Makermod forums), changed the server settings to my liking, got the server started, got in-game, and got a feel for a command or two, I was able try these out. Script 1: Stairs Simple stair setup. Nothing fancy, but there's a lot of Z-fighting. Could come in handy, if positioned properly. Script 2: Jousting Platform Wide-and-short stairs leading to a large, rectangular platform. Again, Z-fighting is rampant. Could sorta come in handy. Script 3: Buffet Who-boy. Where to start? It's a platform with some plants, tables, chairs, cups, bottles, and books. There's a lot of Z-fighting on the platform (again), and everything came out floating in mid-air. Of all three scripts, this is the only one I don't like. The chairs, tables, and plants aren't sitting on the platform, and the cups and bottles aren't sitting on the tables. And don't even get me started on the books. Also, with this one, the chairs tend to face the wrong direction if you aren't facing 360 degrees. That's it, really... I strongly suggest fixing the Z-fighting as well as the floating issue with the third script. Well, that's all I can say about these without mindlessly ranting, so I'll stop here. On the plus side, if I DID rant, at least it'd be from a rather intelligent Lugormod builder. :P ~Crazy Assassin

Desann stances get bonuses to offense and defense, meaning you have an unfair advantage over an opponent, whereas the staff and twin stances put you at a disadvantage when using a single hilt. I prefer to play it fair and square, so this one isn't for me, but if you feel differently, this should satisfy. On the plus side, though, it does add a little more variety to the saber styles available, increasing the total of styles for single hilts to seven, which despite the balance issues does liven things up a bit more from three. Just be aware of two things. Number one, due to the balance issues of this script, some server admins may not be very happy about you using it. Number two, it can only be used on JA+ servers with the /saber command enabled. ~Kouen

Naruto Sharingan Makermod Script

sharinganscript.rar | 1.69 KB

anyway. 1. Kagebunshin - spawns a bunch of NPCs and puts you on notarget. Oh, glee, just imagine a server full of kids using this! As we all know, usage of this runs a risk of crashing the server. If it weren\'t for that, then it would actually be a kinda cool \"summon spell\", but since it has the side effect of giving idiot kids another way to childishly crash servers just because they got whupped in a duel, I\'m going to count this one as a downer. 2. Chidori. Spawns an effect, triggers an anim, and does a special move. Sadly, the move in question is very imbalanced. Still, it\'s kinda cool, and a smart opponent should be able to anticipate it anyway (What the hell am I saying?). 3. Rasengan. Pretty much the same thing as Chidori, just a different effect. 4. Gokakyu. Again, similar to above, only a fire attack. 5. Hakke Rokujuyon Sho. Another special attack. 6. Suna. Do I even have to say it? This time it\'s a sand attack. 7. Super Rasengan. Like Rasengan, only flashier. 8. Super Chidori. Like Chidori, only flashier. 9. Seal of Heaven Stage 1. Same as above, only it looks like Force Rage. 10. Seal of Heaven Stage 2. Same as above. 11. Water Mist. Same as the other attacks, only this time with water.
This is an update of the afore-reviewed script with a few undocumented changes. I don\'t read scriptese, and I don\'t think anyone else on the staff uses Makermod, so your guess as to what\'s new is just as good as mine! In any case, Naruto fans can try this out and report back to us on how it\'s different than the old version! ~Inyri

about Makermod that much, I decided to start off with the readme\'s excerpt:
Would you want cool powers like dark energy & teleportation...i meant on JKIII stupid, anyway this script just does that.
Pfah, little does he know that I have such powers =_> well, okay, not teleportation, but I have something similar to it...but I digress. NOW THEN, let\'s see what\'s in this script shall we? *opens it* Hm...let\'s see...\"DARK ENERGY,\"\"ULTIMATE POWER1 and 2,\" \"FIRE ATTACK 1 and 2,\" and \"DEATH BALL!\" No offense to the author, but some of these attacks sound very corny XD. =_= That, and methinks I\'ll inevitably need to fetch these mods so I can investigate them more in depth myself =_O. The Forbiden Script

the_forbiden_script.zip | 3.84 KB

figured out what it did. XD Anyway, this \"forbiden\" script isn\'t as foreboding as the author would have you think. Intended for Makermod, this mod seems to allow cycling of various commands, changing the messages for particular administrative commands to, in my opinion, very corny messages that I would personally be embarassed to have on my server. Better yet, his instructions are wrong! WOOT! Instead of the_forbiden_script_public, it\'s meant to be ForbidenScript.public.cfg. I found this out, of course, by probing the pk3. That\'s when I found this:
Thank You Can Send The Gaarasscript in base (Of Cours You Can Extract The Pk3 Your Self in the consule Shift + ~ but if you want the txt file in base or whatever fine with me) but here is the rules. 1.) O_o; I\'m going to assume he wasn\'t and say this: \"PUT THAT INFORMATION IN YOUR READ ME NEXT TIME, MY DEAR GOON!\" Overall, this script is really something I can\'t recommend off-hand =_o; While it\'s good in its execution style,(once you execute it correctly, that is) it\'s something I can\'t quite bring myself to say that it\'s any good. It\'s definitely what I would call a \"Macaroni Picture File.\" Like a macaroni picture done by a young child, The author\'s proud of his file, and he\'ll defend it, but in reality, it\'s just mediocre. ¬_¬ However, maybe someone might be interested. This allows you to cycle through more than just admin and basic commands. I poked around, and you also have the ability to scroll through basic vehicle spawns as well! However, like all good scripts, they can be modified if you have the knowledge of what you're doing, so you can add your own vehicle spawns in there as well. Personally, I would recommend this to advanced server owners/users if you have a lot of mods and don't care to remember all the codenames like Averus does. your 6 keys above the arrow keys(Insert, Home, End, etc.) to quickly alter the timescale of the server. This can only be done with cheats turned on. Basically, you're given the option of setting the timescale above or below one. Above equals faster, below equals slower. All that you need to do is this command in the console: Timescale (value) Be warned, however, that at slower rates, it will take more time to change time when trying to use the console. Also expect a huge amount of lag. However, this makes interesting hang-out sessions. This bind system would speed up your process of changing time's speed. Admin Spawn Utility

tested_admin_spawn_utility.rar | 3.66 KB

it’s nifty, because you don’t have to scroll through the list of NPC’s. However, it’s not that hard to remember the most popular NPC’s and just type them. I never used spawn scripts. If I wanted to spawn something fast, I bound it to a key. Now, the script itself works well, although it could use a few things. Firstly, I don’t see the point in having ‘ragdoll’ in it. Aka – the broadsword command. It’s neat, but it doesn’t unlock ragdoll physics or anything like that. All of six keys were used, which was nice, although I would like to be able to scroll through the list of regular NPCs and vehicles separately, just for conveniences sake. But, this isn’t a bad script, although I’d like it more if it echoed the intro text rather than saying that. But that’s easy enough to change, so it’s not a big deal. ~Zach

The Kyle bot, which is now known as the \'Constipated Kyle\' bot, tends to talk a lot about soiling himself. The Luke bot, now \'Cannibal Luke\' bot, talks about eating people, of course. Each of them seem to have some bad spelling errors or grammar problems, such as the lack of a capitalization on \"I\" or spelling \'byby\' instead of \'byebye\' and other such things. Revan's Naruto Scripts

revansnarutoscripts.zip | 2.73 KB

any sense. My entire logic system is up anyway, but it gets me where I need to be... Basically, what we've got here is a few scripts that spam the chat with worthless junk no one wants to hear, but the auxiliary functions are kinda nifty. Well, the way they're scripted is, anyway. Just a shame their uses are so... how can I put it... dumb? 1. Kagebunshin - spawns a bunch of NPCs and puts you on notarget. Oh, glee, just imagine a server full of kids using this! As we all know, usage of this runs a risk of crashing the server. If it weren't for that, then it would actually be a kinda cool "summon spell", but since it has the side effect of giving idiot kids another way to childishly crash servers just because they got whupped in a duel, I'm going to count this one as a downer. 2. Chidori. Spawns an effect, triggers an anim, and does a special move. Sadly, the move in question is very imbalanced. Still, it's kinda cool, and a smart opponent should be able to anticipate it anyway (What the hell am I saying?). 3. Rasengan. Pretty much the same thing as Chidori, just a different effect. 4. Gokakyu. Again, similar to above, only a fire attack. 5. Hakke Rokujuyon Sho. Another special attack. 6. Suna. Do I even have to say it? This time it's a sand attack. So, what impression of Naruto did that give me? Well, it suggests to me that it's pretty much another poor excuse for an anime which consists of little more than emo kids running around shouting out weird words, and that 99% of the darn things content is special attacks. So, I Googled an episode. I was, sadly, right. Another DBZ clone. Figures that at the end of the credits, I saw the 4Kids Entertainment logo, but that's neither here nor there. My god, the things you kids call anime these days... Uh, right, yeah, sorry. There's a second script in here, too. It does pretty much the same thing as the first, comparing the two. Well, if you're a Makermod user and Naruto fanboy, you may be interested in psychia- uh, you may be interested in this file... Yeah, that's what I said. *blink* ~ Kouen

chat binds. I mean really, if you\'re too lazy to type out something, then you should get help. But then, it\'s kind of hard to press 15 keys just to get a \"lol\" bind all in ASCII. So I guess there\'s some point to the chat binds. There\'s also a tiny admin script, which contains the usual: \"No laming\", and a gunsleep/gunslap bind, along with amprotect and amempower. There is also a model script, which will change your character between six models. Then there\'s the name and emote binds, pretty self-explanitory. In regards to the name binds, I just make an entire personality, binds and everything, and then save a new config. There are also zoom binds that take advantage of cg_fov. There\'s also a grip kick and pull kick script. WHy the author needs this I don\'t know. Maybe he doesn\'t. But the point is these are worthless if someone has macro scan enabled on their server. There is also a vehicle spawn script. All of these commands use the vstr command well, although in my experience I\'ve had some problems getting the timing right with it, so I\'d be thinking it had selected \"command 1\" and it was really on \"command 2\". I don\'t think that happens with this script, it\'s just that I\'ve had it happen with me. There are some other things in this script, but they just consist of a cheat list, server command list (very spartan, if I might add), and a npc list. ~Zach

MakerMod, as well as doing some npc spawning, among other things. I liked the fact that the author used vstr commands, but this really wouldn\'t be feasible without using it. Please note that for everything to work properly in this script, the server that you are on must have cheats on, and flood protect off. Marvs Multi Script Pack

marvs_multi_script_pack.zip | 2.64 KB

consists of four different scripts, all of which use the same keys, and are changed by executing another script using a key such as i, o, or p. It might have taken a bit more time, but the author could have condensed all of this into one script package, using vstr commands, and change it around so that instead of using twelve keys, it would use three. One key for changing which category you wish to use, be it kill tracker or name, another key for changing which option in a category to use, and another one to actually execute the command. While this would be somewhat advanced, it would have its flaws. One of which would be doing the wrong command accidentally. So something as rudimentary as this actually has an advantage. It works all the time. :) However, I would recommend using the echo command to let people know what changes have been wrought when they change scripts. Remember, you (the downloader) have to customize this set of scripts to your liking. But not a bad idea for a little mod. ~Zach

For the author, I believe that he could just do cg_draw2d ! or 1/0. Also, the author uses the wait command a lot in the script. I don't see why he didn't just do something akin to /wait 30 instead of doing the wait 3 ten times. But then, it's a script utilising vstr, and I haven't really examined it in-depth. It doesn't really matter as they do the same thing. The author could also have made it so that nothing was displayed when a screenshot was taken by replacing the screenshot command with screenshot silent, and then using the echo command at the end to confirm the screenshots were taken. Anyways, not a bad script, just don't press the button too fast, as your screenshot folder will fill up fast! Good work! maybe we'll get some better potd submissions. ~Zach

admins. There\'s not much to say about this one, really. It\'s a simple config file which allows you to scroll through RCON commands while managing a server. Note that you have to be logged into RCON before you execute the script, or when you try using a command such as map change, you\'ll be tactly informed that your password is incorrect. This is a basic WYSIWYG file - What You See Is What You Get. One nice touch is that the script triggers an activation sound when executed, and plays a switch sound every time you use the toggle function. There\'s not much else I can say about this - if you\'d like a little script that makes it easier to switch your maps and kick troublesome players via RCON, then this is for you.
In addition to the above, there\'s now a JA+ amgun feature. Also packaged is a JA+ admin auto-login tool. If you used the previous version and want a quick upgrade for JA+ compatibility, get this. ~ Kouen

scripts, especially if you can get to the secrets by yourself. It just strikes me as lazy. 64 It sufficeth to say that not all secrets were covered in this, for example, the tomb on Sith Council V2 wasn't covered, you would not teleport to the bar (That tells us something. Beta test everything. Even scripts.) On ffa3, there were just a few map glitches that were covered. I can think of four other areas, up front, that weren't covered. Meh, some people like teleport scripts. If you do, try this, and make sure to follow the instructions in the readme. ~Zach

or you've surpassed the amount of models/skins that will show up in your multiplayer icon menu. The basic idea of this little script is that it will print out all your models (skins and vehicles included) to a nice little RTF file in your base folder. That way you can refer back to it if necessary, or even print it out for easy access. As I was testing it I discovered I had a lot more skins than I thought I did. Just keep in mind this RTF will also contain all of the Raven models. ~Inyri

on. Basically it\'s a group of config files that you execute through the in-game menu that changes the speed of your saber animations. Be warned, it also changes the speed of the enemies\' saber animations, so if you can\'t handle dueling someone in fast forward be careful how you use these. It it moderately amusing to see a stormtrooper hashing at a reborn at 300 miles per hour, though ;) There are five CFGs that will increase the saber speed - each calling for a different speed - one CFG that will put the saber animations in \"slomo\", and one that will return them to normal. This ought to be fun to play around with, if not good for any practical purpose that I can think of. ~Inyri

Robert2005 Script

spacebar an auto–flip-kicking button after you press hyphen (\' - \'), and is disabled after you press equals (\' = \'). The author tells us that his intent is to help newbies with the game, but how does this minimal effort script accomplish anything? I was once a newbie, and I knew from common sense before day one that pressing a button won\'t help me learn how to play the game. That\'s why I dislike katas and butterflies, and that is why I dislike this script. The mod is that if you execute the script in your console, and then press hyphen, you can flipkick someone whenever you press the spacebar, which can be changed; also, if you and an opponent face off with flip-kicks, you performing the auto and he/she the manual, you will win. The concept is that this will help people. When a doctor wants to help people, he fixes up your body, which is a good thing to do. When this script wants to help newbies flip-kick, it compresses the manual process into one single button, and this, ladies and gentlemen, is the wrong thing to do. Newbies don\'t need to learn how to press a button, and it\'s not helping anyone if you cheat your way into the game. —Ra-Kom

JA Realism

will add a pack of NPC rebels and the enabling of dismemberment. All of this could have been done by anyone who knows how servers work, and perhaps could have done it more elegantly. Fortunately he basically explains that this is for newbies who have no idea what they're doing:
...This Server Side Mod is for people who love to have fun but are too lazy to do it. The cfg file increases saber damage off the roof. No more taking 15 hits with a single lightsaber on red to kill desann head on, how about 3. Whats a good saber battle without a leg or head missing. It makes it so you can kill a person in one hit while also cutting them in half. And now, your force regenerates 2X quicker while also draining slower when you use your powers. And as an added bonus..Ive made a squad of npc rebels. So now u can have a full team of different ranked rebels with diff weaponary.
Oh, and you need cheats enabled in multiplayer. What I found ironic about this is that he doesn't bother to explain how to enable cheats. If someone is new enough to Jedi Academy or Quake III Engine gaming in general that he or she needs this mod in order to get these abysmal server settings done for them, how are they expected to know how to enable cheats? The author wasn't mean or especially atrocious in his explanation of the mod in his readme, so I won't be mean enough to tell you how insulting this "mod" is—actually, I lied. I just did. —Ra-Kom (Note to the author: I hope that I didn't offend you, but rather, showed you that next time you need to be more creative, especially if you want to get your name out there.)

There is also an ingress in the fire rates for the ship’s as well it seems as increased ammo, to try and even out battles between X-wings and Tie’s and this also should help to make it more film realistic, and the fights last longer. it’s cool and you have to have it. The script it’s self is a simple idea, that I’m surprised I haven’t seen before, it simply changes models for you at the touch of some button’s, how amazing is that? In the readme the author tells you how to use the mod, but unfortunately I couldn’t find the autoexec.cfg file he mentioned so to use the script simply drop the models.cfg file into your base folder and then type /exec models.cfg in your game console, and hey presto, you can now cycle through 14 models just by pressing Page Up or Page Down and you can apply them by pressing Home, also the name of the model you have selected is displayed in the top left of your screen, how nifty is that? Unfortunately I cant see this script in it’s unaltered form finding much use, unless you don’t have any pre set bind’s and don’t use custom skin’s or models. However if you know how to alter the .cfg file to your own end’s then I suggest you defiantly download the file and do so. ~Wolf
