Knights of the Old Republic
maybe kotor was getting a little boring? Well this one will fix that, what is does is it makes 90% of the stores in Kotor 1 better. What I mean by that is they will now give you more useful items for your journey. This mod was inspired by Shem's thought of people who have mastered this game, they know how to get butt loads of credits but they really have nothing to spend them on. So this is where this one comes in. My personal opinion of this mod is it is great, the idea is really a winner. Making more useful merchants in the game allows for more poeple to actually have what they need when they get stuck between a Dark Jedi and a hard place. So all in all I say this is on of the most well crafted mods that I have seen in a while. So to you Shem great job I think you did a wonderful job! Now to all of the people I have to say download this mod if you want to have an overall better game...and as always...Enjoy!;) Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. "Code of Honor". This Mandalorian in this mod is a prime example of that but in this case his bad presentation of his people pulls in your favor as he is selling premium weapons that can be greatly useful towards you and your party. Time to get down to business, this Mandalorian comes equipped with every state of the art Mando weapon there is including blasters swords and I am sure lighsabers plus their crystals! This Mandalorian is also reasonably priced so when you go to him you will get a fairly good deal.;) Anyway needless to say this mod is completely cool and has some very useful stuff that you can and most likely will use in your adventures through space with your PC and the rest of the crew. So as always enjoy the mod everyone!:D Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. executed and has various new items available some of which are very expensive, the author felt there were not enough stores in the game and has seeked to rectify this, suffice to say he has done a good job. Enjoy! -- jonathan7 Please leave the author praise and constructive criticism; which are often far more valuable than rating mods... modder\'s own words \"Gives the Taris cardstore every kind of pazaak card available.\" So if you\'re naturally terrible at pazaak (like myself) and desperately need those credits then this mod is most definitely for you! If you ever wanted to go back and improve it, Allronix, you could spawn a new NPC and give him a new dialogue - detailing why you should shop with him rather than that dirty Twi\'lek dog! *coughs*. Anyway, good work, Allronix and we hope to see more of you! - Pavlos Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it. the fight outside the apartment. The merchant sells two unique items and has his own dialogue. The mod does not use the TSLPatcher, and the author notes that it will be incompatible with any mods that change the file tar02_postraid.dlg . Overall, the mod is well-made, displaying a good grasp of scripting and other basic but essential modding techniques. It's particularly nice to see a merchant mod, and one which is selling unique goods, too, as this mod type is one sadly under-represented. The author might imrpove the mod by making unique models for the weapons or by expanding the inventory, but these are only reflections of the quality of the initial product; while not overly-complex, it has been produced to a good quality, and is a good omen for future mods from this author. on Taris, he also has a new armour for sale, called the Tarisian Duelling Suit, with some good properties, which is also worn by Marl, the dueller in the Upper City Cantina duelling ring if you use the bonus option with this mod. Nangle Na Maak\'s Galactic Basic isn\'t the best, and he\'s certainly less-than-friendly, but one other bonus to his store is that he\'ll buy any of your equipement at it\'s original value. :D This mod doesn\'t use the TSLPatcher, which means that you may experience compatibility problems, and the installation should be done with care. Tarisian Duelling Suit Properties: Defense Bonus: 8, +2 vs. Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing Damage Resistance: Resist 10/- vs Energy Feats Granted with Upgrades: Master Flurry, Master Conditioning NB: Please leave constructive criticism, particularly if you download and use this mod, as the download-counter isn\'t very informative. -Darth InSidious
things. Since you encounter him on Manaan, which is a planet people normally don\'t go to first, the weapons do a considerable amount a damage. However, there are no lightsabers or robes, so this normally will be supplying to Carth, Canderous, and other non-Jedi party members. Also, no unique/quest-related items are included in his little shop. It may seem a bit strange, because if you say \"I\'m not here to discuss the Sith\" when he asks your opinion, it will automatically go to the shop after his \"very well\". This means that the next time you speak to him, he will mention Shasa, his daughter, when you never even talked about her. :P It doesn\'t matter much, but he has no inventory stands set up or anything. It won\'t affect him in any way, but you \"inventory stand\" lovers won\'t enjoy the issue. However, I don\'t think any merchant-transforming mods actually have an inventory stand beside the new merchant, so I\'m not worried.
another way to make credits. (Oh look, I made a pun :p) The drug/spice effects are amusingly realistic (reminds me of how anorexia was included in Dungeons & Dragons). After taking them your PC will have his/her high and receive a bonus to their stats according to the drug, but not without a price. After that high s/he'll crash and burn in the form of taking those bonuses as penalties for a short while, so be sure not to snort any of these drugs before every fight. :p Since this mod uses the TSLPatcher, remember to run the installer instead of putting the files into override. you liked the stats from the previous version, never fear, they have remained the same. +20 to you Intelligence from Glitterstim, and +20 to your Strength from Carsunum and Pyrepenol for 10 minutes each, as well as +20 to both Strength and Intelligence (as well as an increased walk speed) for 20 minutes. If you need an extra boost for you character, want an easier playthrough or just want to meet another NPC on Korriban to add something extra to your next time through the game, you'll be sure to like this. Maybe in the next version we'll get some death sticks? Street drugs are bad, after all. :p Remember, since this mod uses a .mod file it goes into your module (not your override) folder. Enjoy! hard to afford such items which can be very frustrating. Does it make you wonder why the Jedi Council when they sent you on your mission that they gave you a few thousand extra credits to help you on your journey? Well, Mindtwistah graces us again with another mod that should be a help on your journey. If you read the strategy guide to Knights of the Old Republic, you will notice they recommend you going to Tatooine first. If you normally don’t like to do that first, you may change your mind once you see what this mod has to offer. What this mod does is spawn a droid merchant in the docking area of Tatooine. Now keep in mind that in your current game, you must have not visited that module or this mod won’t work. You must have a saved game before you visited the docking area on Tatooine. Anyway, now that I have told you what you must not have done to make this mod work, I’ll tell you what this mod does. It’s a droid merchant as explained earlier that gives you powerful items at a fraction of the cost. Yeah, some of those really expensive items that was just awesome are now cheap. Just want you need, right? Once you are done making your purchases and you feel like destroying the droid, you can, a great way to play as a character on the dark side, right? Oh, and this droid does have custom dialogue with audio in it to really make this mod cool. Enjoy! :D Note: Please leave the author feedback, especially if you download this mod and use it.
