RTCW Patch 1.1
everyone, Been following the forums post-update release and I'm seeing a lot about installation problems and a lot of people are asking me on ICQ about a non-install version of the patch. There's no need: there is a link at the top of the readme that explains how to extract the files if you're having problems with the installer. There's also info in the readme about what's compatible with what: those who've upgraded to 1.1 can play on 1.0 servers, but we encourage everyone to update so the multiplayer issues get fixed Thanks, Caryn Law[/quote] This update for Return to Castle Wolfenstein is primarily to resolve multiplayer server specific issues that have come up. This update will upgrade your full version RTCW retail game to version 1.1 The addressed issues are as follows: - Zombie Clients issue resolved - Lieutenant grenade spamming solved - Issue with loading single-player maps fixed - Various server stability issues implemented - Link to easily find future updates - Added Voice-Chat abuse fix A few quick notes from me after reading the readme (which is below this description):You WILL still be able to play against people that have not updated their game with this patch and vice versa. This patch will not impact your single player save games in any way (it's a "multiplayer patch")
