existing in vanilla version. Also a full weather cycle has been created for Agroprom Underground. The vision distances for some weather cycles has been increased (and reduced for other) so on a clear day you can now see almost across the whole area. The weather behavior has been altered. There are now 2 main weathers cycles, good and bad. They change in 2h - 8h periods depending on the area. The weather still changes from hour to hour within each period. Different weather balance graphs for each area have been implemented. Swamps, Red Forest and Yantar are often foggy. Agroprom, Cordon and Warehouses are mostly clear with more storms. Dark Valley and Limansk are rainy and stormy so don't expect much sun there. The rest of the areas have the weather balanced more or less equally. Over 90 new sky textures has been added. Those include newly rendered textures and retouched, edited and color corrected textures from vanilla version, StalkerSkies by Cambragol and Panoramic Mod by Argus and STALKER Complete by ArtistPavel. The mod also replaces vanilla blowout sequence making blowouts dark and gloomy, showing strange atmospherical phenomena similar to aurora borealis (northern lights) due to high level of ionizing radiation. Absolute Structures Texture Pack for CS

Compilation and NeilMC's Graphics Pack. All the textures in the pack has been sharpened on MIP map level. It means gradual sharpening of separate MIP map levels in every texture. The benefit is that the usually blurred MIP maps are still sharp as they fade into distance. This results in overall sharpness of the image. Most of the textures are the same resolution as vanilla so they don't require much more RAM to load. You can use them even on low spec machines.

properties. The Renegades, Bandits in Limansk, and Military are now neutral to the player. The Monolith faction is friendly to the player. With the Monolith as your allies, you now have new quests in which you assist the Monolithians in capturing parts of The Zone. These parts include the Military Warehouses, the Garbage, the Red Forest, and Yantar. Other changes make high end weapons more reliable. You can also sprint with the Exoskeleton, RP-74, RPG-7, SVD, and Bulldog 6. Several suits have had their properties changed. The SEVA suit, Bulat suit, PSZ-9D Duty suit, and the Exoskeleton come with five artifact containers. The Stalker suit comes with three artifact containers, instead of two. The Exoskeleton skin has been changed from the Loner Exoskeleton skin to the Mercenary Exoskeleton skin. The Stalker suit, SEVA suit, and Bulat suit also have new skins which are surprised. To help you fight The Zone, you have been given better starting equipment. You now start the game with a Vintar BC, which Scar (protagonist) carried in the opening cutscene. You also start with a Kora-919 pistol (Colt M1911A1), a Stalker suit, lots of ammo, and three surprise artifacts. See the readme for more specific details.

Built upon the success of STALKER Complete 2009 (which was downloaded well over 100,000 times), this entry in the Complete collection continues the tradition of aesthetically updating the game without changing the original story or gameplay. Fans can expect a polished and pure Zone experience designed around the most graphically demanding title of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series - S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky. Clear Sky is a graphically improved prequel that integrates newer visual technology that we introduced in our previous mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl. This gave us a solid foundation for further enhancements, letting us focus solely on the design elements of the games’ art style and aesthetics. The most notable feature is the introduction of the brand new set of distant scenery textures that put the player in the middle of a large open world, rather than the previously “enclosed” map. The original photographs used in this project were captured by our studio during our travels to the Russian industrial town of Mednogorsk, which represents how Pripyat once was. Once we returned to the studio we applied our graphic design expertise to edit our real-life environment captures to closely match the fictional in-game Zone environment. Other graphical enhancements include stunning new lighting effects, natural daytime/nighttime transitions, vivid sunsets/sunrises, redesigned emissions, a new high resolution nighttime constellation map, a full moon, and many other aesthetic improvements too numerous to list. This new texture set contains the best work by the community along with the introduction of new rendering techniques authored by our studio, such as: * Reworked foliage and terrain, making the grass draw line less noticeable * Detailed textures for most of the weapons * Replaced bricks, concrete, metal and ground textures * Refined human and mutant textures * New details such as smoldering firewood, leaves, and stones * Vehicles now appear realistically rusted and abandoned [img]http://paveldolgov.com/images/blogspotimages/moddb/sound.png[/img] The purpose of this sound overhaul was to further enhance the ambience and atmosphere of the Zone with the addition of higher quality and more realistic ambient audio files. This mod is included in Clear Sky Complete, and features: * Crash Fixes - many potential “crash to desktop” errors have been eliminated. * Quest Fixes - fixed bugs in 9 quests that couldn't be completed under certain conditions. * Gameplay Fixes - fixed a large number of gameplay bugs that could keep the game from progressing, like preventing the accidental death of important characters and other triggered events. * Weapon Fixes - fixed animations, incorrect ironsight positions and corrected the depth of field effect on most weapons. alter the hit_power as i find that with more NPCs you tend to get hit more, so more realistic 1 shot kill values are omitted for the fun factor. Also tends to force player to only aim for the head instead of just anywhere and makes the gun fights a little longer. I also did not alter the grenades values because on master the NPCs can now throw perfect nades twice as far as you. Pistol Ironsights Mod

to a closer aim tolerance to front and rear sight, much more accurate at distance. Improved hit power balance between weapons and their tech upgrades. Corrected and removed the crosshair zoom on SIG 220.... Opps, I was tired and that slipped through! What you will find in this mod: ALL pistols have ironsights. (*Tested in 4x3) Prices for pistols have been changed. Hit power has been changed to be more appropriate to the weapon class. IE: a .45 hits harder than a 9mm, but is harder to control and some what less accurate when fired quickly. Bullet speeds and range have been increased to match ammo class. ALL pistols have multi fire rates. (Yes I know it is not accurate to the gun, but it was for fun. If that bothers you, just leave it set on single shot.) ALL pistols now have silencer capability and all tech mods are available to use. Bear in mind that some tech mods may have an effect that works against another, so choose wisely. Also upgrade factors have been improved and costs have been changed accordingly to improvement. IE: Pistols can carry more ammo in a clip with upgrade, but the cost to do this has gone up dependent on the weapon and the number of rounds added.

Some people were thinking the default one was really ugly so I took a crack at a new one. 8) PLEASE READ Installation instructions first if you already have custom mods installed which you do not want effected by this mod! Known issues: For some reason after you instal this mod the binocs get formatted with two clear pillorboxes. One on each side. At this point I am unable to fix this so if this effect bothers you don't instal the mod. Besides the visual problem the binocs work normaly. This effect happened to me under both wide and full screen aspects even though the binocular texture and config files weren't touched in any way. Go figure! Tested under: Full screen 1600 x 1200 and widescreen 2560 x 1600 1920 x 1080 with the only issue being the previously mentioned one.

Slightly tuned settings on the machine gunner on Cordone, since his sniper accuracy really got to me. Fixed tracers. Disabled tracers for SVD, SVU, VAL, Vintorez, pistol rounds, and 12-caliber. Now only 5.45x39, 5.56x45, and machine gun bullets have tracers. Disabled flash for Vintorez, VAL, and PB (pistol with the integrated suppressor). Now only slight smoke appears after shooting, like for shots with a suppressor.

[I need info about Duty Faction if it works.] Game still has bugs that prevent you to get certain Flash Drives in certain situation. Example. Swamps when you are supposed to go top of the Tower before "blow out", if you dont go top of the Tower you cant get the first Flash Drive as a reward. Thats why i created this MOD. You can still collect / find the Flash Drives (no one is forcing you to return all Flash Drives what this MOD gives you), but if you cant get the Flash Drives becouse guest bugs (or you just missed one) you can still return "missed" Flash Drives. Question: Why i didnt just ADD Flash Drives to Trader? Answer: I couldnt, those wouldnt show up, maybe becouse many .Scripts has made Flash Drives AS "non buyable" from Traders or i just couldn know how (all other items showed in my Trader MOD) You can freely MOD this one and use it your own MOD. The current version, 1.1, attempts to implement some sort of difficulty curve - cheap items found at the beginning of the game will be traded for more (compared to their usual price) than more expensive items commonly found later. This mod does nothing to reduce the ridiculous markup that every trader has, however. By default, this includes a modified version of luka00's Trader Mod, but if you don't want that included, simply overwrite the files in the "trade" folder with the files in the "No Tradermod" folder. I've modified luka00's to trade with several other traders, and with higher prices (his seemed to make things a bit too easy). Input is welcome.

My original work here is strictly limited to weapon, ammo, npc, mutant and items config tweaks - I make no special claim to those config changes - the rest is from various other mods as Ive indicated. Stalker Radio Mod FIXED

of your choice with a custom-made seamless loop by me that sounds like a real, Russian STALKER radio station. (IMO) If you've ever played Fallout 3, it's similar to the radio station that DJ Three Dog hosts. The loop is approximately 6 minutes 31 seconds long. The two hosts play music and tell jokes and comment in between. All the music and audio was taken directly from the game files, including the host's chatter (put together from the separate stalker chatter sound files) and the music, which was taken from the STALKER soundtrack available at http://soc.stalker-game.com/?page=soundtrack. To elaborate further on how this mod was made, the various STALKER chatter is located in sound files. There are sound files for individual jokes, responses, combat related chatter, etc. I used these for the commentary between the two hosts. They were put together one by one so as to match the conversation as best as possible. (comment on music followed by another comment, followed by joke, followed by comment/laughter on joke, etc) The music between the commentary was taken from the game files and from the STALKER soundtrack. I put the audio through a filter so that it sounds as though you're hearing it from a radio, as well as some added soft static. Everything was put together in an audio-editing program called Audacity.

Helios Spawn Menu Mod is a collection of three small scripts for spawning artifacts, armour, weapons, ammo, quest items, monsters, and stalkers. How does it work? Helios Spawn Menu Mod is enabled through the main menu (not to interfere with ANY in-game key bindings) using specific key bindings in order to spawn either items or an NPC. If items are spawned, they will go directly inside Scar's inventory. If a monster/stalker is spawned, it will spawn near Scar after the main menu is closed. Instructions: 1) After downloading the mod, place the gamedata folder inside Clear Sky's main directory. Usually it is C:Program FilesGSC World PublishingClear Sky. 2) Run Clear Sky. 3) Either start a new game or load a saved game. 4) Press ESC while in-game. 5) After the main menu is brought up, press the following keys to spawn something. NOTE: You can press different keys any number of times to spawn either a lot of items or a squad of monsters/stalkers. However, this will usually result in a little bit of lag when spawning in large quantities. I also would advise you to download separate mods to go along with Helios Spawn Menu. More info at bottom. 6) Press "Return to Game". 7) That's it! Either items have been spawned in your inventory or an NPC is near you. Known Bug: Only press the binded keys after you load or start a new game. Unless you like crashes... Key Bindings: Because I have yet to finalize a separate menu for spawning, each key has to be memorized for now. Remember: Numbers 1-0 = Items. First row of keyboard or keys Q-Y = Humanoid mutants. Second row of keyboard or keys A-L = Stalkers. Third row of keyboard or keys Z-B = Domestic mutants. I use the term "domestic" simply because rats and pigs don't scare me. :P NOTE: If you are not using a QWERTY keyboard, or simply not happy with the key bindings, they can be changed in "Helios.ltx" using Notepad. The script is pretty straight-forward so I won't go into any details. Pressing a key will result in the following: Numbers: 1 = All artifacts + detectors, including the Compass artifact. 2 = All armors. 3 = All weapons. 4 = Pistol ammo: 50*9x18 pmm, 50*9x18 fmj, 50*11.43x23 hydro, 50*11.43x23 fmj. I also included the machine-gun ammo (100*PKM) here to save space. 5 = Shotgun ammo: 25*12x70 buck, 25*12x76 dart, 25*12x76 zhekan. Also here is 75*9x19 pbp, 75*9x19 fmj. 6 = Assault rifle ammo: 75*5.45x39 ap, 75*5.45x39 fmj, 75*5.56x45 ss190, 75*5.56x45 ap, 75*9x39 ap, 75*9x39 pab9. 7 = Sniper ammo: 25*7.62x54 7h14, 25*7.62x54 7h1, 25*7.62x54 ap. Also here are 25 Gauss rounds. 8 = Grenades: 5*rgd5, 5*f1, 5*gd-05(SMOKESCREEN! YAY!). Also here are 5*og-7b, 5*vog-25p, 5*vog-25, 5*m209 grenades. 9 = Medical and food supplies: 10 x bandages, 2 x regular medkits, 2 x scientific medkits, 2 x army medkits, 5 x antirad, 1 x bread, 1 x sausage, 1 x canned food, 2 x vodka, 5 x energy drinks. 0 = Misc. and quest items: This category is experimental simply because I included everything here that I couldn't fit into other categories. Everything from a harmonica to monster parts is included here, so try it out for yourself. I included quest items but somehow they aren't working for me. Give it a try and tell me if it works. :/ NOTE: I tried to balance the ammo in relatively small quantities. If you are not happy with this, change "Helios.ltx" using Notepad. This goes for other items as well. First Row: Q = Snorky Snorks! (As in: Imagine the Q is a gasmask.) W = Bloodsuckers, including Marsh Bloodsuckers. (As in: WHY?! WHY WOULD YOU LET THESE HORRIBLE THINGS INTO THIS MOD?!) E = Pseudo-Giants. (As in: Enourmous) R = Controllers. (As in: contRolleR) T = Telekinetic Poltergeists. (As in: Boars) Regarding Other Mods: I choose to make Helios Spawn Menu separate from any modification for the sake of realism and in order for the player to customize the game as they see fit. If you want to add more to your gaming experience, I recommend these mods: 1) Any God or high jumping mod to get away easily from large spawned quantities of monsters or stalkers. 2) Trader mod to make monster parts sellable to traders (you can sell them to stalkers currently though) or balance the prices of items (especially PKM machine-gun or Compass artifact). 3) Enable Scar to fire in stalker camps. Commonly done through "sr_no_weapon.ltx". 4) Any AI mods. Just remember to correctly add the scripts into the gamedata folder, since they can rewrite themselves. Fun things to do with Helios Spawn Menu Mod:1) Spawn a bloodsucker near Lebedev. 2) Wage massive sieges on camps. 3) Leave stalkers in places they never got to before and then see what happened to them. For example, Duty in Marsh. This is actually pretty interesting because all spawned characters randomly roam an area. 4) Gigantic mutant armies! 5) Did somebody say FFA? Planned features: -Seperate spawn menu, similar to G-MOD for HL2. Currently working on it. No major luck so far, but I think I'm finally getting a break. -Zombies. For some reason, I can't find the correct tags of zombie models. I did find two, but they're very buggy when I ran it in my game, so I decided to leave them out for now. Healing Bandages and Medkits that Stop Bleeding

applying any of them. So with this mod used as it is - you get "some" health and good chances to stop bleeding with 1 bandage applied, about half your health and probably stopped bleeding with 2 bandages (except if you're bleeding real badly :P ) and with medkits you stop bleeding completely right after applying first medkit (doesn't matter which type) and your health increase from using medkits stays as it is. Hopefully this won't change the game a lot for you, but will make it easier to keep you healthy in those situations when you don't have time to think about "is it bandage or medkit that I've just used?" :P Hope you'll like it, post comments pls :)

These are the most powerful 7.62mm rounds in the game, but not quite as accurate as the 7.62 x 54mm 7H14 rounds (the ones that cost 1000 RU per box, the ones that are 450 RU per box are utterly inferior). - 9 x 39mm SP5 rounds can now be purchased from several traders and found in several stashes (it used to be unobtainable and incompatible with any weapon). These rounds offer the best accuracy out of any 9 x 39mm round, but not quite as powerful as the 9 x 39mm SP6 rounds. - The Dragunov SVD, SVU, and PKM are now compatible with the 7.62 x 54mm AP rounds. - The VSS Vintorez, AS Val, and Groza OTs-14 are now compatible with 9 x 39mm SP5 rounds. - The first person skin for the SEVA suit and PSZ-9MD Universal Protection is now BLACK. Check out the trader in the Red Forest mining tunnel. He sells a variety of rare weapons and artifacts, including the two new ones. He and the Clear Sky trader both sell the Gauss gun. - New starting equipment. You now start with a Bandit jacket (skin has been changed to the long coat) and a Vintar BC, which Scar (protagonist) is seen carrying in the opening cutscene. You also start with three special artifacts. - Several faction relations have been changed. The Military, the Renegades, and the Bandits in Limansk are neutral to the player, if the player is not in a faction and has not angered that faction. The Mercenaries are allies to the player. - Changed most stashes, better content in most of them. - Clear Sky faction and Monolith faction have been made much more powerful. Beware of the Monolith! They can quickly seize the Military Warehouses. - Several technicians can upgrade a slightly larger variety of weapons and armor. - Top of the line weapons have been made much more reliable.

changed. Hit power has been changed to be more appropriate to the weapon class. Bullet speeds and range have been increased to match ammo class. Sniper rifles now have 10x scopes, hit harder and greater range. Very deadly! ALL rifles have multi fire rates, except sniper (SVD and SVU). PKM (RPK) now has multi fire rate, single, burst and auto. Now has zoom Ironsight with closer tolerance in that mode plus the ability to sprint with it in relaxed mode. Has a slightly higher hit power, more appropriate to its weapon class. It does not have silencer capability. 16x9 values NOT tested nor can I assure they will work in widescreen, don't have a widescreen monitor. ALL rifles now have silencer capability (some via tech upgrade only) and all tech mods are available to use. Exception to the silencer is rifles that already have a silencer permanatly installed and sniper rifles. Bear in mind that some tech mods may have an effect that works against another, so choose wisely. Also most upgrade factors have been improved and costs have been changed accordingly to improvement. IE: Rifles can carry more ammo in a clip with upgrade, but the cost to do this has gone up dependent on the weapon and the number of rounds added. Standard scopes are improved in power. IE: a 2x = 4x, 4x = 6x. Exception is the FN2000/G36 scope which is really in 5x, not powers of 6. Yes.... a mystery to me, something hard coded. (A note on scopes, I discovered a glitch with the tech upgrade scopes for sniping and wide field view. If you buy the 6x or 1.6x scope from a tech... it will work, BUT DO NOT UPGRADE the rifle afterwards or you will lose that scopes upgrade power, even if you just put a silencer on it! It WILL revert to standard power scope of 4x. So buy that scope as your last upgrade. This is a glitch even in vanilla STALKER. I have no fix for this yet, but am working on it.) New weapons and weapon upgrade XML TEXT that reflects the weapon a little more accurate. Didn't change .dds icon files with this release to reflect changes. English text only, sorry. IE: in L85A1, tech upgrade SUSAT Scope upgrade icon shows 4x when it really is a 6x, though text is correct. Be mindful of the glitch I mentioned above! Binoculors have been given a 10x power rating. Grenade launchers have a slightly bettr range and hit impulse radius. Silencers.... they go phhttt, what else can I say. Knife is stronger and has a slightly better reach. RPG and grenades not added to this mod.

IE: Pistols can carry more ammo in clip, but the cost to do this has gone up dependent on the weapon and the number of rounds.

station. (IMO) If you've ever played Fallout 3, it's similar to the radio station that DJ Three Dog hosts. The loop is approximately 6 minutes 31 seconds long. The two hosts play music and tell jokes and comment in between. All the music and audio was taken directly from the game files, including the host's chatter (put together from the separate stalker chatter sound files) and the music, which was taken from the STALKER soundtrack available at http://soc.stalker-game.com/?page=soundtrack. To elaborate further on how this mod was made, the various STALKER chatter is located in sound files. There are sound files for individual jokes, responses, combat related chatter, etc. I used these for the commentary between the two hosts. They were put together one by one so as to match the conversation as best as possible. (comment on music followed by another comment, followed by joke, followed by comment/laughter on joke, etc) The music between the commentary was taken from the game files and from the STALKER soundtrack. I put the audio through a filter so that it sounds as though you're hearing it from a radio, as well as some added soft static. Everything was put together in an audio-editing program called Audacity.

look more like an apocalyptic scene. This is only a beta so I have left out some of the less important things like new music in order to keep filesize down. Enemies can see further and so can mutants, corpses will give little ammo and other supplies making it harder to survive, im considering lowering the amounts to be found even further but i'll see if people think this is enough first. combat is far more deadly thanks to nemboos damage mod. Hunger is also back thanks to Ceano :) There are a couple of retextures in there too such as the boar. The extra spawns from the horror mod are included so there will be a lot more activity in the swamps still have to do the other lvls. addition, it's also possible to summon the mutants which are cut by the develpoers in the original Stalker, such as burer and chimera. In order to summon, you have to ensure there's at least one body part of a mutant such as "dog tail" in your inventory. The summoning process will consume the mutant's body part which correspond to the type of mutant that you could summon. Then go to the main menu by pressing ESC, and then press: key 1 : This allows you to summon a group of mutants instantly, which consumes all the corpse ingredients in your inventory. key 2 : This allows you to summon one of the weakest mutant, which consumes one corpse ingredient. key s : This allows you to summon one of the strongest mutant, which consumes one corpse ingredient. Each Type of creatures has diffent strength. The strength of the creatures you have summoned has something to do with your rank. For example, master has a much better chance to summon strongest creatures than novice. The dead body of a mutant has a chance to spawn corpse ingredient which could be used for summoning, the probability is 50 percent. This rule only applies to the mutants respawned after you install this mod. In addition, you could go to the bunker in Yantar and buy corpse ingredients from the scientist. This mod also integrates the time acceleration function which lets time elapse more quickly. To enable or disable it, go to main menu and press key F1. After installation, you don't need restart game to adapt this mod.

anyone knows how to spawn an fn let me know and I will test it as well. I have also created two new textures for the binocs. One is like the existing binocs but with a bit of a green reticle glow and is based off the games default binoc texture. The other is based on the AMK binoc reticle. If you want the default binoc just leave things as is. If you prefer the AMK style binoc then remove the existing binoc or disable it and rename the one called: wpn_crosshair_bino_amk.dds to wpn_crosshair_bino.dds and that one will be used instead.

all firearms. Decreased detonation time for grenades. Raised accuracy of PKM, decreased feedback, changed cooldown time. Returned iron sights for all pistols, as it was in Shadow of Chernobyl. Fixed iron sights on all guns in which bullets flew too high: LR300, VAL, and Sig-550. Enabled moving iron sights. Sight bar size has been reduced. Slightly tuned settings on the machine gunner on Cordone, since his sniper accuracy really got to me. Fixed tracers. Disabled tracers for SVD, SVU, VAL, Vintorez, pistol rounds, and 12-caliber. Now only 5.45x39, 5.56x45, and machine gun bullets have tracers. Disabled flash for Vintorez, VAL, and PB (pistol with the integrated suppressor). Now only slight smoke appears after shooting, like for shots with a suppressor.

eventually i gave up and did it myself. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- if you haven't downloaded my "STALKER gameplay improvements" or TW33Krs very good ballistics mod (that i have forgotten the name of) the AK-74 and 47 will feel very over powered. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You will not need to start a new game but i have so far only made it so that you can only buy it from the trader at the dark valley (if ur a member of freedom) and the cordon(if you area member of The S.T.A.L.K.E.R.S) and you are given it at the start of the game (and clear sky have them as well).

this version but in future releases I will keep it a secret, this is mainly for testing purposes. You have to talk to the captured commander for the first time after talking to father valerian, this will activate the attack. There is also a new event when you ask the soldier under the bridge in cordon "who are you?" and follow the dialog chain. The Horror mod for CS is an attempt to create a "scarier" atmosphere to play in and generaly make survival a struggle. In its current state it is quite difficult. Even on novice you can be killed very quickly. You will have a hard time finding ammo and other supplies so don't run in all guns blazing or you will quickly find yourself lying face down in the dirt :) :Added in 0.2: (full feature list in readme below) - added extra mutant spawns in the swamps via dialog, some are large packs of mutants so be careful :). - Added a mutant attaack to the loner base in cordon, you have to question the commander for the first time and then they spawn. - Added a little something extra to the conversation with the military stalker under the bridge, you have to ask him "who are you?" to see what I mean. - you can now take out your weapons in a faction base. - changed the ammount of ammo recieved from the trader at the beginning of the game to be even lower. - Added 3 new music tracks that play in the swamps and cordon. - Removed the new dynamic music, might do this at a later date.

The direction that it looks like I will be going in from now on is a complete overhaul of the weapons system in stalker. IT IS BALANCED, No Uber suits !! for shotgun ammo ;) AP values are now tweaked so that you can hide behind cover without ammunition penetrating although high end ammo will penetrate more then low end ammo. Armour Piercing rounds will also penetrate more to make it more realistic. Shotgun ammo has high impact and hit values but less distance and air impact(less impact on long range => less damage i assume, though im not sure). Sniper ammo has less dispersion and less impact but maintains impact one long distance. Has also got high hit power. Ammunition now improves more accordingly to gameplay advancement All ammo has tracers including rifle grenades, buckshots however has not.

the readme that this mod will only work WITH A NEW GAME. For some reason all stalker names are generated when starting a game. Installing this mod and loading a saved game won't cause any problems, the stalkers will just keep their english names.

(hopefully) find it a lot harder to find ammo and other supplies so taking a more stealthy aproach is generaly the way to go. I have changed the menu music and the dynamic music, let me know what you think. I have only 1 dynamic track so far and it is the only one that plays, although it sounds different every time. If it starts to annoy you just turn the dynamic music off or delete the folder 'gamedatasoundsmusiccombat'. If you are running in static lighting the fog will look a bit off but any lighting setting above that and it looks normal. I'll make a static version soon. The mod is not finished yet so any issues you have or feedback you can let me know here or on the main thread at the GSC forums. :Still to do: - New music for every area and 2 more dynamic tracks - slight dialog changes to make it a much darker plot (maybe even a new plot but based around the same events so all that would be changed is dialog) - new spawns - add in easter eggs for horror film/game fans Dancalx

After a couple of days of feedback, testing, and tweaking here is version .2 of what for now will be called "Ballistics Mod" due to my lack of creativity and caring for what ever the hell my mod is called. From here I have big plans. The next mod will include a complete revamp of the ironsight accuracy system and maybe some work on the upgrade system although I haven't really decided on the scale of the upgrades yet. As usual none of the current value are set in stone. They can and most likely will be tweaked again to provide better balance/realism as I continue to overhaul the weapon statistics in stalker cs. Anyone who wants to get started in modding weapons themselves or tweak my value for to there liking can go to this link to learn more about how the different scripts effect the gunplay. http://www.gsc-game.com/main.php?t=community&s=forums&s_game_type=xr2&thm_page=1&thm_id=17337&sec_id=22 Changes (quite a few): -Lowered buck shot AP to .15 from .2 -Increased 5.45x39 FMJ AP to .85 from .7 -Increased 5.45x39 FMJ damage to 1.2 from .9 -Lowered 5.45x39 AP's AP to 1.1 from 1.2 -Raised 5.45x39 AP's damage to .95 from .7 -Lowered 5.56x45 AP's AP to 1.2 from 1.4 -Increased 5.56x45 FMJ AP to .7 from .6 -Increased 5.56x45 FMJ damage to 2.3 from 2 -Increased 5.45/5.56 AP's accuracy by 5% due to the better balance and quality of the rounds -Increased all pistol and rifle periods to 50000 shots untill its condition reaches 0 (Deagle, SIG 220, and the USP all lost a tenth of a percent of their condition for each shot fired.) -AN-94 requires maintenance every 20k shots. -LR 300 requires maintenance every 25k shots. -When a weapon miss fires it loses 5 percent of its overall condition. This is the stock value. I have not changed b/c I only noticed right as I was about to release the mod. This will be fixed in version .3 -All weapons have had the accuracy penalty for poor condition severly lowered. From 100 percent to 0 percent will still notice some change but not nearly as bad as portraid in vanilla. The idea behind this change is that the penalty should be in reduced reliabilty and not in making your weapon a smooth bore musket. -Changed BM16(sawed off shotty) Base Spread from 1.1 to 2.3 -Modded all upgrade files to reflect the changes to the source weapon values. -Increased Shotgun Slug damamge to 2.5 from 1.2 and turned off "explode on hit" -Increased Shotgun Dart AP to 1.4 from .95 and turned off "explode on hit" -Increased Shotgun Dart Damage to 2.1 from 1.4 -Decreased 7.62x54 7n1 dispersal by 5 percent -Increased 7.62x54 7n1 damage to 1.6 from 1 -Decreased 7.62x54 7n14 spread by 10 percent -Increased 7.62x54 7n14 damage to 1.8 from 1.2 -Increased F1 grenades threat radius to 10 m and increased damage by about 250 percent.

Ballistics mod

there will be no further changes made to the weapons muzzle velocities, while RPM and range is still up for debate. Changes: -All pistols now have a maximum range of 150 meters vs. the original 50 meters. Also, their muzzle velocities have been update to match their IRL counter parts. Some I had a hard time identifying or even getting info so in those situation I used an "average" value for its muzzle velocity. Something else to note, a few of the pistols had incorrect mag size (SIG 220, H&K USP, etc), those values have also been changed. -I am currently experimenting with Desert Eagle to gets its damage level to be more realistic. Please not that I have not yet changed its recoil attributes to match the changes in power. The Deagle will be based on the .50 AE round. However, since I do not feel like modding in .50 AE rounds atm, .45 will have to suffice. -All assualt rifles have had their max ranges increased to 1 kilometer (except the 74u for obvious reasons) -All assualt rifles have been given their appropriate fire rates and muzzle velocities. In some cases this may prove to be a blessing and a curse as most of them had their fire rates set about %30 too low and muzzle velocities on average where well under the halfway mark. -The PKM now has a 200 round box mag and fires at 650 RPM with an 840 m/s muzzle velocity. All of these values have been significant changed from the vanilla settings. Eventually I will get around to getting the accuracy corrected as GSC has made it about as accurate as waist firing an MG3. -The Draganov SVU and SVD have only received minor tweaks. Their MV has been increased to 820 m/s and the SVU now has a 20 round mag just to make things interesting(yes, there is a 20 round mag availible for the SVU, but not the SVD :( ) -You may notice slight differences in the Groza, AS Val, VSS. Their MV has been increased to 300 m/s vs. 250 m/s (although it may not be enough to notice a real difference) and the VSS/AS Val have had their firing rates increased to 900 RPM. -None of the recoil or accuracy peramiters have been changed. Any accuracy changes that have resulted are b/c of my mods to the ammo. -12ga buck has been reduced to 12 pellets, with a 1.2 spread. I am trying to keep it at a 1m spread at 50m. YOU WILL DIE if you take a close shot to the chest with buck while wearing starting armor. This is highly realistic as you are only wearing leather. Your best bet is to keep at range and stay behind cover.

If this does not suit your play style feel free to tweak it to your liking (or use something else.) I enjoy the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games immensely, The immersion and gameplay are what I've been looking for in a shooter for very long time. That said I never liked the fact that you had to wait 5 minutes for your crosshair to focus while enemies with perfect aim hit you with a sawed off shotgun from a mile away. I also had serious issues with the fact that I had to empty a whole clip of ammo into one Bloodsucker/ pseudo dog etc just to bring it down. At the end of the day, mutant yes, but its still flesh and bone, and no amount of radiation grants armor plating to an animal. stick out tongue.

"bug free". Game still has bugs that prevent you to get certain Flash Drives in certain situation. Example. Swamps when you are supposed to go top of the Tower before "blow out", if you dont go top of the Tower you cant get the first Flash Drive as a reward. Thats why i created this MOD. You can still collect / find the Flash Drives (no one is forcing you to return all Flash Drives what this MOD gives you), but if you cant get the Flash Drives becouse guest bugs (or you just missed one) you can still return "missed" Flash Drives. ________________________________ Question: Why i didnt just ADD Flash Drives to Trader? Answer: I couldnt, those wouldnt show up, maybe becouse many .Scripts has made Flash Drives AS "No Tradable" (All other "non guest" items was in the Trade window) If you want to MOD other Faction Leaders to give Flash Drives go ahead. Maybe i will do that, maybe i wont.
