versions 1.0003-1.0006 and build 3120 are supported. Run the patcher again to restore original FOV and original xrgame.dll. I do not recommend to create a server/clients in the Internet, using changed xrgame.dll. It will not be possible to communicate. Or it will be necessary to agree in advance that on all computers in a network would be the same xrgame.dll.
