INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Installing a map for battlefield 1942 is an easy task, as long as you follow uncle B.F. Pierce's rules for installing a map.
Step 1: DOWNLOAD the map from one of our easy to find download links below
Step 2: Go to the following directory C:\program files\EA Games\battlefield 1942\mods\fh\archives\bf1942\levels; Or if you installed to a different location, find your EA Games folder and go through the same path as before.
Step 3: Take the .rar you download and cut and paste it into that directory
Step 4: EXTRACT the .rar into that directory you just pasted it into. You'll need winrar to extract this file, just go and download it.
Step 5: Load up Forgotten Hope and enjoy!
Iron Cross Mod

-ATST-v changed rocket weapon to heavy laser and works well with bots. When fully manned the ATST-V delivers considerable firepower.
- Rebgun flies easier now and more like a slow plane. Pilot has laser and bombs. Co-pilot has rockets. Bubblegunners laser changed. Bot pilot attacks with pilot laser. Still working on getting other postions to fire.
-Probedroid easier to pilot, but still not enough for decent bot use.
- Gain-135 has rear gunner weapon with full 360 degree arc of fire.
- Other misc. minor tweaks and changes.

1.5 Patch/Philippine Islands Map:
In this new conquest map for Battlefield 1942, naval warfare and infantry island invasions take center stage in a raging firefight for the Philippine Islands. The shallow water between the islands act as a barrier to the invading Japanese Destroyer, but is no problem for the fast patrol craft used by either side. In some cases, islands are so close together that infantry can wade between them.
The Invasion of the Philippines map introduces two new vehicles: the Elco 80 PT Boat for the US Marines and the Type 38 coastal craft for the Japanese. These fast patrol craft are the most heavily armed for their size in either navy packing torpedoes, machineguns and sea mines into one pint-sized warcraft. With their size, speed and manueverability they bring naval warfare into knife-fighting range. From fast naval action to beach invasions to fierce jungle combat, Invasion of the Philippines brings a new intensity to the battlefield.

Punkbuster-Update für Battlefield 1942
Da der Support für den Battlefield 1942 Punkbuster seit Februar 2010 eingestellt, und die PB nicht mehr aktualisiert wird, kann es häufig bei einer Neuinstallation des Spiels dazu führen, dass die bei der Installation vorhandene Version von PB nicht mehr automatisch auf den neuesten Stand gebracht wird. Das hat dann zur Folge, dass viele Server nicht mehr connectet werden können, da diese auf die letzte aktuellen Version bestehen.
Um diesen Problem ein wenig entgegenzuwirken, habe ich Euch einen neuen Installer in den Downloadbereich gestellt, der die Clientversion automatisch auf den aktuellen Stand vom März 2010 bringt. Um das Tool nutzen zu können, muß Punkbuster vorher aber auf jeden Fall von der Spiel-CD installiert werden. Nachdem die Installation fertig ist, wird der Ordner pb im Verzeichnis "Battlefield 1942" gelöscht, und danach die Installationsroutine ausgeführt. PunkBuster ist damit auf dem neuesten Stand.

Enhanced Desert Combat
Welcome to the Enhanced DC 0.7 Installer. This program will install Enhanced DC into the appropriate directory. Additions to the 0.7 program include: 2 new aircraft, jet pack and 5 new vehicles. Health and ammo packs have been placed into motorcycles. A mine layer and top mount MG was added to the Lynx. Certain vehicles were retextured for a better look. Original pathmapping and aggressive bots make this mod challanging for coop gameplay. Five new maps included are: The Walking Dead, Dambuster, Beach Assault, Dog Fight, and Defend Your Post. New explosion effects were added to vehicles. Weapons have been re-sighted for the M-16, AK-47, heavy machine guns, and spec ops guns. It is a pretty small map, designed for massive street battles. This battle is located at the heart of Berlin, where Hitler lived his last days in his Führerbunker which he used as second Reichskanzlei (Chancellery).

Friendly vehicles, buildings, and infantry that are nearby will disable enemy buildings and vehicles from clouding the commander tank up to five seconds after they've left the area. Enemy aircraft will not cloud the commander camera.

Fixes/Additions in 0.05 (May 30, 2003) [Internal Release]:
-Increased time to make engineer's sandbags and turret to ensure they are created level to the ground.
-Added material 17 which allows mappers to set areas on the level that can't be built on.
-Added secondary weapon to anti-air vehicle which shoots homing missiles that home on aircraft.

They still need work. The anti-vehicle turret works to some degree. The anti-air turret barely works.

This hotfix is intended to correct an exploit which is currently in the Battlefield 1942 dedicated server. This hotfix will only be effective for the DEDICATED SERVER.
The Bridge Crossing
The allied team paratroops drop into the allied mountain range base and then try to get across to the axis territory by either zipping across a huge bridge, which is in the shadow of bunkers high on a cliff.
DCM Al Nas
What is the difference? Day 1 is mainly infantry with support vehicles, map is a bit linear, straight to the point gunning and killing ^_^ On Day 2 the map is more accessible, and has armor for both sides providing some crazy, urban tanking combat.

Cerbere Landing
Neue Maps braucht das Battlefield. Gerade gab es für 2142 eine kleine Erweiterung, erscheint eine recht bekannte Augenweide aus der Zukunft, für die Vergangenheit. Die Custom-Map: Cerbere Landing von dzeri ist vom Original kaum zu unterscheiden. Ein Blick auf die Mini-Map lässt kein Detail aus und verspricht heisse Gefechte im Jahre 1942. Wem das noch nicht reicht, sollte etwas Geduld haben und sich auf Highway Tampa für BF1942 freuen, so dzeri .
Normandie Bridge v2
Alles dreht sich um die Brücke in dem kleinen Dorf! Da es nicht möglich ist den Fluß zu überspringen oder zu durchschwimmen, kommt man nur über die Brücke rüber. Auf jeder Seite ist noch ein kleiner Aussenposten der eingenommen werden kann.
Ziel ist es aber, beide Brückenenden zu halten, da nur dann der Counter abwärts zählt.

Battle Over the Roer
This is my first map but I have spent a lot of time on it getting things just right and ironing out any bugs and glitches in the map. I have added pretty good bot support, various environment sounds and smoke effects, and a few remote spawn points not connected to the bases. This should spread play over the map and will put more emphasis on both defending the control points and attacking the opposition.
Single Player : same as conquest but bots cannot use the rafts (only human player can use them). Co-op : same as conquest but bots cannot use the rafts (only human player can use them).
This map is not 100% historically accurate. It is loosely based on the allied offensive along the Roer river during the advance towards Berlin. The Allies (US) have already captured 3 small outposts on the Western side of the river (The Woodmill, Forest Base Alpha, and Forest Base Bravo)
The Germans still hold 3 bases on the East side (The Fuel Depot at Duren, The Old Town, and The Churchyard) but They have heavy defences along the river and around the town of Duren .

Ok Provideing you actuality read this Here are the changes.
First off the vehicels, the speeds and acceleration have been tweaked. Sawed offs have been added to the
red car, the intercepter, and one of the buggies. Thats about it. Also I'm experimenting with
the damage system with the vehicles. They can now be disabled if you shoot them enough and if you shoot
them enough times they will explode. This is only an experiment if people don't like it It will be removed
Now on the the weapons.
The mod has been overall rebalanced the 44 is weaker, it kicks even more, and shoots slower.
Some of the ballistics have been tweaked. Like the crossbows and crossbow pistol The projectiles
travle at higher velocities but they drop realisticly. The rebarcannon is back but it shoots
exposive tiped bolts that are made to damage vehicles.
The hunter has his the exp crossbow back. His binoculars have been removed because they are really useless.
The damages to the weapons have been tweaked, they are slightly realistic like if you shoot someone
in the arm or leg it wont do as much damage if you hit them in the torso also head shots or one hit kill
no matter what.
Oh yea the flaregun is more like a flaregun if you shoot it in the air it will explode.
If you are wondering why the zipgun has a funny reload animation its because the charactor has more
then one zipguns, He fires one drops it fires anther one drops it over and over again till he has no
more left. Just like a pirate. I also made some minor kit changes Its more like classic wasteland
if you've played it. The melee has been improved. Each melee weapon is a tad diffirent then the other.
The Machette swings on avarage speed and does avarage damage.
The Spiked bat swings slower but does a lot of damage.
The cleaver does a lot of damage plus swings fast but you have to get in pretty close to use it.
The knife does about the same damage but again you have to get in close.
The crowbar is the weakest has the same speed as machette but if you hit someone in the head they're
gone.
I also added some new models that the origonal devs left out such as a mowhawk, mask and goggels.
They can be seen on the red teams charactors. Thats about all. If you would like to suggest something

Featuring
This mod is a total conversion of the game Battlefield 1942.
You will need Battlefield 1942 to run this game.
This game is for multiplayer use only; single player and bots are not supported.
Featuring a complete new set of hand-weapons and vehicles and new environments
fitting the post apocalyptical world of Wasteland 2046. This produces a totally
new experience for Battlefield 1942 as tactics for being successful is really
different.
The history
The mod was started autumn 2002 by Lakrillo. A team of willing people were recruited
through forums and different sites. There has been some people coming and leaving,
but the core of the team has remained pretty much the same since the start.
Most of the team was fairly new to modding when starting, and we have learnt and
evolved during the making of this mod. Then 2 years ago I wooze desided to bring this mod back. This mod was
the first one I modded on, and mapped. And if you want to help me just email me at
woozebooze@hotmail.com. By the way. I don't want to take to much credit for this mod all I did was
change a few codes the people you should give credit to are the real devs who made this mod.

Notice
This is a beta-release, which means that all stuff in it might and will not be final.
You are encouraged to post bugs and your opinion at the forum of the mod. When doing so
post in the right section of the forums and be careful to not post stuff that has already

This is the finished version except for maybe the Coop or Single player modes. They may get some more tweaking. Like if you find some AI getting stuck or running into things please get a screen shot and email it to me with a description of the problem and I'll do my best to find the fix. and thank you for your help. This map is freshly painted and ready to rock and roll. Some new places have been added both in plain view and some in hiding, but with some luck and good viewing you'll soon find them.

Die Mod dann innerhalb von BF1942 bei Eigenes Spiel starten. Zum spielen wird außerdem BF Pirates 1.0 Final benötigt, das muss vorher installiert sein.
Flucht aus StaLag13
Es ist ein wunderschöner Herbstabend als sich die Helden von StaLag 13 aufmachen, das Lager zu verlassen. Das Ende des Krieges ist nahe, so das ihre Aufgabe erfüllt ist und sie Anschluss an reguläre, alliierte Einheiten suchen können.
Das Lager zu übernehmen ist nicht weiter schwierig, da "Oberst Klink" und seine Wachsoldaten keinen nennenswerten Widerstand leisten. Durch einen listigen Plan konnte dazu noch alle Soldaten einer Panzereinheit, welche auf einem Bauernhof in der Nähe des Lagers Rast gemacht hat, in den "Hammelburger Hof" in die Stadt gelockt werden, um den Geburtstag des "Schnurrbartes" zu feiern. Auf diese Weise gelangen unsere Helden an Fahrzeuge, um sich auf den Weg zur "Straße nach Düsseldorf" zu machen.
Hier stoßen sie auf ein Vorauskommando amerikanischer Streitkräfte.
Allerdings wird "Major Hochstädter", von nahe gelegenen GeStaPo Hauptquartier auf der Insel Meinau, alles daran setzen dies zu verhindern und seinerseits die "Straße nach Düsseldorf" zu besetzen, um selbst Nachschub zu erhalten. Das Zusammentreffen der Soldaten wird in der Stadt Hammelburg stattfinden.

Ok, the map is a city map, 2-3 times the size of the Berlin map. It features the Russians and Germans, there is 1 uncapturable spawn point for each team and there are 3 capturable flags.
This is my third map. Previous maps are titled The Crossroad, and Operation Wolf. All maps have bot support, and were actually created with Coop play in mind, as will any future maps i create!

Dies ist eine Angrifft Map. Die russische Rote Armee versucht, nach einem Vormarsch durch die
hügelige Landschaft, die von der Wehrmacht besetzte Stadt Warschau zu befreien.
Die deutschen Truppen haben während des Vormarsches der Russen genug Zeit um sich in den Häusern
Warschaus zu verstecken.

Highway Tampa - BF 1942
Schon die Startmusik hat quasi ein Feuerwerk der alten Gefühle ausgelöst. Die Einstiegspunkte sind absolut identisch mit denen von 2142 und bieten einen ausgewählten Fuhrpark, um eine flotte Fortbewegung zu ermöglichen. Die einzunehmenden Fahnen finden sich ebenfalls an Ort und Stelle wieder. Landschaftlich bietet die Karte viel Stein und Staub, wobei einige Palmen und Bäume Abwechslung bringen. Wirklich neu und auch passend, sind kleine Schlauchboote, um auf dem Wasserweg durchzuschlüpfen. Verschiedene Werbetafeln versprechen einen Eyecatcher und dürften für Verwirrung sorgen. Wir wünschen wieder: Viel Spaß !

Seit dem Patch 1.4 waren Stunts in Battlefield 42 kaum noch möglich. Darum entschloss sich Metaltop eine Stuntmod zu erstellen und begann mit der Arbeit am Code für die Jeeps. Nach kurzer Zeit konnten Jeeps auch durch die B17, einen anderen Spieler oder durch einen Selbstauslöser gestartet werden. Nach dem Launch der Mod im Jahre 2003 (1.0, 35kb) entwickelte sie sich schnell weiter. In der finalen Version 1.2 enthält sie viele Stuntfahrzeuge und die Map ?Market Garden?, auf der Spieler ihre Flugfertigkeiten testen können. Sie enthält außerdem zwei Last-Man-Standing-Maps, auf denen ein Team das andere komplett ausschalten muss, um zu gewinnen.

Der Willy kann durch einen Klick auf den Mausbutton 1 gestartet werden. Ein Klick lässt die Gewalt von 10 TNT-Bomben frei.
2 Spieler
Spieler 1 steigt in den Kübelwagen auf der B17 und fahrt ein kleines Stück zurück. Spieler 2 sitzt in der B17 und startet den Kübelwagen über die Feuer-Taste.
Jeeplaunch
Ein Spieler steht vor einem Hügel. Der andere fährt den Kübelwagen gegen ihn, um den Launch auszulösen.

Winter Storm Small - Secret Weapons
This is a more compact version of Winter Storm for those of you who like smaller battles. It's based around the two ends of the bridge, North Bridge and South Bridge. Holding both will cause the enemy tickets to rapidly decrease.
Take the Island
There is an island near each carrier with AA and a Defgun. Get scouts to spot the island and use these defguns to pound it, while the AA gun holds off any bombers.

Winter Storm CTF - Secret Weapons
Some vehicles have been removed in the CTF gametype, and the Bridge CPs are now uncapturable starting points for either side in addition to their main bases. Each main base gets a light tank, a car, and artillery.
