A.T.O.M. Singleplayer
Description:
After the american forces defeated the chinese army on all fronts,
the chinese commander-in-chief withdrew to his underground bunker refusing
any surrender and even threatening to use nuclear weapons should the american
forces not withdraw. In order to bring an end to this war as soon as possible,
U.S. special forces have been ordered to infiltrate the bunker facility and
to get a hold of the chinese commander, dead or alive.

Nachdem die amerikanischen Truppen die chineschie Armee an allen Fronten
geschlagen haben, hat sich der chinesische Oberbefehlshaber in seinen
unterirdischen Kommandobunker zurückgezogen und lehnt von dort jegliche
Kapitulation ab und droht mit dem finalen Einsatz von Nuklearwaffen falls
sich die amerikanischen Truppen nicht zurückziehen. Um den Krieg
schnellstmöglich zu beenden, haben Spezialeinheiten der U.S. Army den
Auftrag erhalten, die Bunkeranlage zu infiltrieren und den chinesischen
Kommandeur gefangenzunehmen, tot oder lebendig.

MEC forces launch a surprise attack in hopes of quickly taking back the Kirkuk Oil Fields. There is no aircraft, just a bunch of tanks (about 36) and a few jeeps.

Al Khafji Docks
Genau am 12. August des Jahres 2005 veröffentlichte Mapper Blunty seine Battlefield 2 Version dieses Desert Combat Klassikers. Allein beim Filehoster Filefront wurde das gute Stück ca. 13.000 mal heruntergeladen. Damals war das sogenannte Navmeshtool für den BF2 Editor zum Hinzufügen von KI gesteuerten Bots noch in weiter Ferne. Folglich verfügte die Karte "Al Khafji Docks" über keinerlei Singleplayer bzw. Coop Support. Dieser Umstand gehört dank plote_45 nun der Vergangeheit an.
Ein von den MEC Streitkräften gehaltener Containerhafen ist das heutige Primärziel für die schnelle Eingreiftruppe der US Marines. Bei schönstem Sonnenschein und besten Wetterverhältnissen müssen die US Truppen von einem Landzipfel im Norden aus mit ihren Schnellbooten das feuchte Nass überqueren. Hier bleibt den einzelnen US Squads die Wahl entweder direkt zu den Docks überzusetzen oder ersteinmal den Nachschub im Westen zu sichern. Bei Einnahme der westlichen Flagge erhält die US Armee zwei Kampfpanzer sowie einen HMWVV. Das schwere Gerät ist auch zwingend von Nöten, denn die MEC ist auf den Angriff der Amerikaner nicht ganz unvorbereitet. Vom Osten aus können Panzerverbände der Araber bei Bedarf in die Schlacht um den Hafen mit eingreifen. Die Beschreibung trifft hier auf die gespielte 64er Version zu. Über vollen Botsupport verfügt aber auch das 16er und das 32er Maplayout der BF2 Karte.

Airshow 1918
