Kaustic's Quake 3 Deathmatch map called Angularity has reached final version. The map was originally built with InstaUnlagged and OSP in mind, with faster game speeds for rail jump and hook use.
While the Vesuvio was erupting and the crowd running for their lives, deathmatchers invested the place for a ultimate game.
This new map for Quake 3: Arena takes place in an ancient valley at the dawn of time.
3600ups? no problem with this race track. the map consists of two figure eights to practise bunnyhopping and is big enough to reach high velocities in cpma. note this isnt a defrag map!
My first map published for q3. As you can see, I was quite lazy to use more textures, but the gameplay is ok.
My entry for cha0s's first 20 brush contest. Due to the extremely low number of brushes being able to use I concentrated on brush forms and lighting.
Made for the tpmc (team play mapping contest). the task was to create a ctf or tdm style map suited for vq3, but it does also play well with cpma.
My first map made with cpma in mind. Testing with the guys from #promode and the challenge network boards helped a lot creating good gameplay.
The changes to the original version are quite subtile: I transformed some ramps, tweaked items and added the cpma logo. This version is intended for 2v2 only.
My favorite quakeworld map dm6. remake for use with cpma and q3. the textures used are taken from the quake 1 retexturing project. they were the most classic and good looking i could find.
Cha0s started another 20 brush contest in the q3w and planetquake.de forum. i had just finished my dm6 remake so i thought making whole dm6 with only 20 brushes (including 10 patches) would be a great task.
Originally a map i made for warsow. the stlye developing was really interesting to follow and it came to such a state i decided to release it for q3 as well.

This Q3a map is a conversion of the Q2 classic map "Railgun 101". It uses the Q2 textures and is and exact geometrical remake. Game play has been improved for Q3a. It makes a very fast tourney map or a good FFA map up to 6.

This has really low gravity and doesnt' work well with bots. It's fun with 3-4 people. I didn't spend a whole lot of time on this map, but it's a nice little map.

Quake 3 Deathmatch Level
A large map with lots of detail. The theme is a cross between metal and tropics. The thing I'm most proud of is the Palm trees which I created using only curves, brushes and original textures.
Remake of the classic DM-map "Alley" from DukeNukem3D DM map, good for 3-6 player.
A unique Quake style level, almost gothic with brown textures highlighted by bright yellow lights, in a circle of large areas where there is constant carnage.
1vs1 duel or 2-5 player ffa, using custom textures (Ikbase) to create an atmospheric base level that is getting flooded by the rain.
Two small levels especially good for 1on1. Quite a unique mix for Quake3, dome/temple architecture, rusty-tech textures mixed in with some gothic and terrain.
Alien Temple is a large space map. A high speed flying fraggin' time!
Air2 started as just a map for myself, but I decided to put it on the internet. Quite a bit of detail, but nevertheless a playable map.

The original pushed the Quake engine to it's limits, now it hardly touches the power of the Q3A engine. Hopefully I've done justice to the original map.

My first (but not last) try at a larger than life, "Pad Style" map. I like to have 4-8 players. The bots kick ass on this map so make sure you find the 200 count BFG to hold off the attack.
