Red Orchestra 2 Rising Storm
This update includes tons of new features, a new map and two new weapons.
Today they are releasing the final three of those maps for Red Orchestra 2 completely free.
It was shot in full 1080p to give the most accurate impression of what the game looks like in action. The trailer gives you a chance to get an impression of some of the maps -- iconic locations in the Pacific Theater such as Guadalcanal, Saipan and Iwo Jima. It also gives you a great chance to see some of the new weapons in action -- the Japanese knee mortar, their rifles, the well-loved Garand and Springfield rifles and the American flamethrower. Not forgetting the Japanese ability to banzai-charge, with leaders waving katanas!
Red Orchestra 2 is the award-winning WW2 FPS, developed by Tripwire Interactive.
Rising Storm covers the famous island-hopping campaigns in the Pacific from 1942 to 1945 as the US Army and Marine Corps fight it out with the Imperial Japanese army and Special Naval Landing Forces. Featuring some of the most brutal fighting in the Pacific theater, players are able to experience beach assaults, jungle fighting, close quarters cave fighting and more across Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima and many other historic locations. The player is able to take the part of either side -- American or Japanese -- battling it out online in full player versus player multi-player.
