GDC 2011: Box 2D Interview
Programmer Erin Catto developed a simple physics engine called Box 2D before the explosion of Smartphone gaming. Rovio used his open-source project to make the smash hit Angry Birds. Catto wants them to credit Box 2D, so that other people with design ideas can use it to make their own games.
