E3 2007: Final Countdown to E3

Microsoft Press Event Sign

We’ve arrived. Gaming Today has set up our California E3 Command Center here in Santa Monica, and we’re prepping to bring you full time coverage of E3 2007.

We’ve already visited all of the hotels in the area that are hosting E3 events, and judging from the things we saw being set up, we’re definitely looking at an interesting show. Sure, we won’t be seeing the enormous, over-the-top, barrage on the senses that was so common at E3 in the past, but I can tell you that the exhibitors here must be geniuses to shoehorn that much AV equipment into a small hotel conference room.

Our running coverage will kick off in just a few hours with the Microsoft Press Event, which strangely enough is taking place in the Santa Monica High School. From that point on, we’ll bring you everything we see, with as many pictures and videos as we can lay our grubby little paws on. We’ll even kick in some hands on reports from Barker Hanger. There’s plenty of coverage on the way, so stay tuned.

Thank god I’m not there. I never want to visit a high school again…unless it’s for cheerleading competitions. Good luck fellas!
