The super secret ending is even better. Virtual SE managers and devs appear, apologize for every FF since X and then fall on their swords.

Trust me. It’s not a joke. I’ve seen it myself. Although it took way to long to unlock -_-

yea.. thats no joke. I got 100% in just about 60hrs. The most annoying part for me was hunting all the monsters, or that dang slot machine ^_^

Worst ending I’ve seen in a long time there must be a part 3 or it is the worst ending ever.

Hunting monsters was annoying for me because I thought I had to get that check mark after knowing everything about the monster, but I had just needed the monster’s name on the Bestiary list. =_=” Slot machine did its work while I was asleep, for a cost of 160,000 GIL, but I still have 500,000 Gil left after buying everything.

I would like to say that the game play was fun and the puzzles were challenging and some were annoying like brain blast. Huge disappointment with the ending and secret ending. The paradox endings did not make up for it either. Not worth grinding and collecting all 160 fragments for about 1 extra minute of crappy secret ending. I expected to see lightening again but it was only Caius. I hope there is a DL in the NEAR future involving Lightening more! and adding her as a playable character, not a monster add on. And Snow better get Serah back!!! Cause hes the man.

what the hell was that i just finished a month’s worth of playing to get every damn thing and that is what square gives us what the hell it could at least been longer or even be in cgi but know if the freaking to be continued wasnt bad enough but they give us an ending that does not explain a single damn thing

The ending explains everything, sarah (being the farseer she is), dies because she saw as many futures as she could inevitably handle, just as the many yuels did one by one Caius explains earlier that he holds the heart of pure chaos because he’s the guardian, he also explains that should that heart ever stop beating the goddess dies and the wrath of valhalla will be unleashed (meaning the the world as they know it will be transformed into another valhalla where time does not exist). So, by killing Caius at the end the future is altered once more resulting in Sarah having her final and fatal vision (as for told earlier in the story line if you payed attention), while the goddess dies as a result of Caius’ death ( also as fortold by Caius himself earlier AGAIN IF YOU PAYED ANY ATTENTION TO THE STORY LINE) and the world is transformed into a new valhalla just as the prophecy that they mention like 50 different times in the story line said. So before you say the ending explains nothing, try actually watching all the cutscenes and actually pay attention to the story line. As for the only two things they do NOT explain ( which are that Lighting is sitting in the throne completely crystallized, and in the secret ending Caius is alive after they clearly show you kill him) as far as i can tell, Lightning is/was still a L’cie just like snow in the sunleth waterscape and has completed her focus resulting in crystallization , and Caius is still alive because they do mention more than once that Caius is Immortal. The two explainations however are still to be determined. …And anyone who is irritated or annoyed or P. O’d at the fact that they through a great big “TO BE CONTINUED…” in your face at the end just because they may have left something unexplained….GET OVER IT… they have good reason for doing so, 1. being that they most likely intend on making a FF 13-3 therefore a “TO BE CONTINUED…” is used as to create an opening for a third installment to the series, and 2. they can’t explain everything because by keeping some secrets they achieve two things 1. they leave something to base the story line of the third installment off of and, 2. They keep up plenty of suspense to keep the consumers interested and eager to said third installment, resulting in higher sales AkA how the people that work there butts of to make these games make there money
