Final Fantasy 13-2 Walkthrough

Table of Contents

  • Yaschas Massif

    1. Talk to the man in front of you to receive a map of Yaschas Massif. Once you have the map, talk to the man again and grab the 500 gil nearby before jumping down the cliff to your right.
    2. Walk east, and then north. As you head north, the path will turn westward a bit. Once you reach the dark area, you’ll know you’re in the right place.
    3. Collect all the treasures in the dark area and head north. Chocolina is back, and she has some new weapons in her inventory..
    4. Head northeast and then north until you reach the big slab of stone. Talk to Noel.
    5. After the cutscene, talk to the female researcher standing by Chocolina. Prepare yourself for a boss battle!
    6. In order to give yourselves a good chance against the Rift Beast, use Cait Sith’s Esuna as soon as the battle begins and the boss casts his de-shell and de-protect spells. Other than that, stagger the boss as soon as possible. Until you do that, the boss will go through bouts of very high damage resistance, so don’t get discouraged. Keep your HP up and take your time with this fight.
    7. After the battle, Hope is going to show up and start talking. A lot. The characters in this game seem to do that on occasion, don’t they?
    8. Take a look around the area. Check near the bottom of the large stairs and up the ramp by the statue for some more goodies.
    9. Talk to the soldier that is marked with “!” and you will be able to proceed along the northeastern path. Here, you can obtain the hidden Gysahl Greens and a Wandering Talisman. Use the R1 button and watch Mog do his thing.
    10. Talk to Hope several times. You will get the Hollow Artifact. Now, head for the glimmering gate that is located in the middle of the map. Congratulations, you have unlocked Oerba!

this part was ing usless, no idea what to do after leaving this part, the whole point was a WALKTHROUGH step by step damnit, do it right or not at all, double check this , got my hopes up that there was a walkthrough already then this kept me stumped, got out of the void, then it gives me info on how to get more frags to unlock gates but doesnt tell me WHERE to go next

@anon what would be the fun of the game if it told you where to go? Although it does tell you how many you have collected on that particular time. The secnod point of the game is exploration uou have to find and aquire the frags by doing sidequest misions.I have up to 159 frags now and the only one thats actually the bestiary fragment because t requires you to fight every single thing in the entire game :O
