Final Fantasy: Dissidia Video Debut

The first video for Final Fantasy: Dissidia, the Final Fantasy 20th Anniversary exclusive project, is up. The video features in-game footage as well as stunning CGI.

FF: Dissidia is an upcoming Square Enix action title for the PSP featuring both old favorites from the FF series as well as some brand new faces. Most fans of FF will recognize Sephiroth from FFVII and FF Advent Children. I also picked out Kain (FFII), Cecil (FFIII), Kuja

There is no confirmation at this time on whether the game will be launching outside of Japan. Square Enix has not even given a release date yet for any region.

Idea fantastic, but it shouldn’t be a stand-alone game. Theses sort of ideas would be perfect if part of another FF game. For such an example, check out Star Ocean’s cool battle mode. That’s something FF should definitely have, just not as a seperate game.

The characters have already been revealed to be Zidane, Kuja, Warrior of Light (FFI) and Garland (FFI). People keep mistaking them for FFIV characters.
