Final Two MW3 Content Drops Detailed

Infinity Ward has announced today that the Chaos Pack and Final Assault DLC for Modern Warfare 3 will release on August 9th and September 6th, respectively. Each will cost 1200 Microsoft Points (or free for Elite subscribers) and will be one-month timed exclusives for Xbox Live, meaning PS3 and PC gamers won’t have access until 30 days after the above dates.

Chaos Pack offers four new Spec Ops missions and two new Face Off maps. The content also introduces Special Ops Chaos mode, which, according to Infity Ward’s statement, “delivers a frenetic form of combat that demands players to outlast waves of enemies, while chaining kills on maps littered in power-ups to achieve the highest possible score on fan-favorite multiplayer maps Resistance, Village, Underground and Dome.”

Final Assault is more of a straightforward multiplayer map pack download, featuring five new maps.

That should be enough to keep COD players busy until Black Ops 2 releases on November 13th, at which point the yearly Call of Duty DLC cycles will continue to repeat until Shepard chooses red, green, or blue.
