First SimCity 5 Screens and Details
Last week, speculation arose regarding a potential sequel to Sim City when EA Maxis hinted at a big announcement to be made at GDC. Now, it seems German magazine GameStar has the scoop: Sim City 5 screenshots, art, and juicy information.
While these details have yet to be confirmed, according to the article, the next SimCity will feature more organic, European-style cities that won’t be constrained to American-style regimented block systems. The game will be built on a new graphics engine, players will be ranked on a global leaderboard, and the title is due for release next year.
Check out the scanned magazine images.
I remember playing Sim City on Super Nintendo, then making the PC leap with Sim City 2000. Damn tornadoes…

Screens look good! Just add some types of multiplayer and I’ll be hooked.
