The long awaited Video Marketplace has finally been released to Canada, UK, Ireland, France and Germany, allowing Xbox 360 owners with Live access to download movies and other video content – for a fee, of course.
There is both standard definition and high definition content available on the Video Marketplace, with prices being slightly higher on HD content. When downloading movies, you’ll have 14 days to watch the movie or 24 hours after you first hit the play button.
It’s a very nice service, although I don’t know how much interest there will be without the large collection of TV shows awaiting a download.
