For Some Graduates, Video Games Have Become Scarce
Who are these people who claim they don’t have time for video games? They must have, you know, lives or something.
The Dayton Daily News is running a badly written piece about the cramped schedules for upcoming graduates not providing much time for playing Dance Dance Revolution, if anyone still does play that game.
Growing up is hard to do, at least for the students interviewed, and the amount of game time has dramatically decreased now that they are graduating from high school. And it’s true, at that point in time, a lot is expected out of you.
I say, just wait until college. Let’s face it, most of the “extra-curricular” activities you do in high school are to get you into college. Once you’re in, as long as you don’t get arrested it’s a sure thing. And even then, I’m not sure that will affect your admission. Don’t quote me on that, though.
But really, my favorite part of the article is when one student said his arm was sore from playing Wii tennis, and how the “repetitive movements” took their toll. Yes, your arm gets sore playing virtual tennis just like in real tennis.
You’ve learned all you need to know–you’re ready to graduate.
