Forsaken World Launches Early on March 9th

Perfect World Entertainment’s new MMORPG, Forsaken World, has been scheduled to be released on March 9th in Europe and North America–two weeks ahead of schedule, thanks to the active involvement of the closed beta community.

In the recently posted fifth Forsaken World developer diary, Jon Belliss, director of marketing, sheds some light on one of Forsaken World’s most unique aspects: the Guild System.

Starting at level 20, players will be able to join a Freshman Guild and can create their own guild at level 30. Guild members own their own guild bases, customizable flying fortresses filled with exclusive merchants, craftsmen, and quest givers. Guild quests unlock new features for the entire guild and provide upgrades for the base.

From the official press release:

“Forsaken World has been our most highly anticipated game, which is evident in the fact that this has been our largest and longest closed beta to date,” said Clifton Chu, Product Manager for Forsaken World. “We would like to thank all of our beta testers in making Forsaken World the most polished and best game possible, which is one of the reasons why we are able to launch two weeks ahead of schedule.”

Set to go live on March 9, Forsaken World will launch with a total of six servers including three PvE servers and complete support for French and German versions.
