Forza Motorsport 4 Plans Spring DLC and 2012 Sequel

Forza Motorsport 4 made its presence known at Microsoft’s March 1st event in San Francisco. Though overshadowed by the other mega-franchises present, the popular racing franchise had a number of announcements that are sure to enthuse racing fans:

  • 10-car DLC Pack #6 Gives racers access to a variety of rare cars including the Aston Martin Zagato, the Ferrari Can Am, and the Ford Country Squire, a bulky, “Woody”-style station wagon. (March 6th, 2012)
  • Title Update 3 This patch will provide multiplayer fixes, classification fixes, and, even better, a level-cap raise (to 999). (March 6th, 2012)
  • Porsche DLC Expansion Forza has a long-standing relationship with Porsche, and this expansion features 37 Porsches (bringing the number of total cars to 625), 5 new hours of gameplay, and 10 new achievements. (May 2012)
  • Forza Horizon A brand-new franchise sequel, created in conjunction with Playground Games, which features former members of Codemasters Racing Studio. (Fall 2012)

So how about it, gearheads? Are you excited for what Forza has to offer?
