Founder Bonuses Finally Online in Call of Duty: Elite

Call of Duty: Elite service is still intermittent for fans of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, but it appears that at least the Founder bonuses available to players who bought the MW3 Hardened Edition are now online.

So says the Elite status page, which also says that Beachhead Studios is making “key improvements” to the service, although it’s still only available intermittently.

Players are advised to check on whether their founder status is active by logging into Elite and looking for a green skull next to their names. Founders should soon be able to access “title, emblem and weapon camo,” and all useres should be able to get hold of the Elite title and emblem in MW3, as well as double XP.

The update to Elite also touts improved stability for the service, though it seems there’s more work to be done. Beachhead is working on fixing age restriction troubles in a lot of places, something that has prevented users under the age of 18 from using the service even if they purchased the Hardened Edition of MW3 and received a full year of Elite as part of the package. Apps for Android and iOS are in the works, as well, and Beachhead is still working to increase the server load so more users can be logged into Elite at a time.
