Free Stuff: The Next 2,500 People Who Buy a GFW Game Get 400 MS Points

To celebrate (celebrate?) Xbox.com merging with the Games for Windows Marketplace, Microsoft is giving away 400 MS points to each of the next 2,500 people who buy a GFW game. That’s any game, period. This is basically like getting a free plushie with a purchase except not as good.

Now, I’m not saying you should go out of your way to make a purchase, but if you were already thinking about picking up something from GFW then now is clearly the time. Also, Section 8: Prejudice, which Ron really liked, is only $7.50 this week…

A few lame notes. You can only get the 400 MS points one time, and even then it will take 4-6 weeks, they say, for you to get that 400 points. That’s sort of appalling, considering I get Amazon credit the day after I buy a game. But yeah, that’s the deal. Take advantage or don’t.
