Funcom’s MMO The Secret World Now Available on Steam

If you hadn’t grabbed a physical copy of the newly launched MMO The Secret World around its initial release, you can now download the conspiracy-laden game on Steam.

Unfortunately, unlike many games that migrate to Steam, there’s no real incentive to go with this version of TSW than any other. Like the retail version, you get the game plus a month free of the subscription-based MMO gameplay, but no benefits like a 10-percent price drop or extra time.

You can find The Secret World on Steam at this link, and order it should you choose.

What do you guys think? Is the addition of TSW on Steam a boon for you? Are you interested in this MMO (I am, although I haven’t yet put much time into it), or are you passing?

I wouldn’t pay a subscription fee to play even the best of games, and after giving TSW a try during the free weekend, I don’t even think I’d play it if it went f2p. There are much more fun and rewarding games out there and soon to be released (Guild Wars 2) that I’d rather spend my time with.
