FYI: Max Payne 3 DLC Delayed

You might have noticed that the Hostage Negotiation Pack for Max Payne 3 that was supposed to launch in September never arrived. The reason? “Oh that? Yeah we delayed it. Sorry for forgetting to mention it!” It’s true! Rockstar games has only now officially announced that it’s been delayed until sometime later this year.

“Our apologies to Max Payne fans who’ve been waiting for this one and the other upcoming packs” the announcement says. “[W]e’re working hard to bring you this and all the other DLC and should have a release date to announce for this next pack very soon. As a special thank you to all Max Payne 3 multiplayers for your support and patience, look for the release of an all-new chrome weapons bonus, which will be redeemable by all Social Club members free of charge. We’ll have more info when the unlock becomes active later this week.”

So there you go. Of course, the question remains, is it worth the wait? I found MP3 to be a tedious game, an unsuccessful split-the-difference that felt like Uncharted, only bad. What about you, Game Fronters? Sound off in comments.

The only MP3 DLC I’d be excited would be a hidden ‘batucada’ group DLC were a hidden bongo or batucada group would play the music in the shootdowns from the background… just like Adam Sandler in ‘The Hot Chick’, I’d be glad if Max could yell them ‘Stop banging those drums!’ (watch?v=iiGki-_iD3I&list=FLBcGpDy0XY98udi3XgZ_ZLA in youtube). It’s probably not gonna happen ever, so…
