Game Front Podcast #11: Does 2013 Even Have A GOTY?

With Thanksgiving happening this week, we take some time – a LOT of time actually – to talk about a range of things on our minds that might have best been saved for post-dinner coma conversations. And boy did we. We discussed the lack of clear GOTY contenders going into the end of 2013 (we know many of you will disagree), the possibility of breathing new life into old franchises using Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus as a starting point, the pros and cons of Xbox One, and how the real next gen experience is found on PC. We also talked for a LONG time about Call of Duty.

So grab the latest podcast and put it on before you stuff yourself full of Turkey. Or, maybe after, if your goal is to be lulled into a deep sleep. We’d love to know if you think we’re out of line regarding the relative smallness of Game of the Year games this year, so drop a comment and let us know what you think, and while you’re at it, why not add anything you might want to hear us talk about next week.

GTA 5 SP all the way. MP was pretty garbage with the micro-transaction kick in the balls.

Sadly John, I wasn’t completely joking. I loved MG Rising.

But perhaps a better choice would be Wonderful 101.
