Without any doubt
~ Dark Souls II ~

Whatever—The Games is going to be Awesome! but I really just can’t wait to Watch more walkthrough videos of Mitch & “…James(?) From Gamefront(/shrug)…” (as James tends to introduce himself) playing Dark Souls 2!!!

Ii think that Dark Souls 2 was my favorite game this year because I just love that the difficulty is more about just how you play and not really the game most of the time. dark souls 2 just looks like it’s going to be the same thing I love with some cool new additions like 2 element weapons and that’s why I think dark souls 2 was the best game at E3 this year.

The game I am most looking forward to playing would have to be..
KINGDOM HEARTS 3(KH3) even though it will not be out this year and possibly will not be out next year either but I have been looking forward to the KH series when I first played KH1 at my friends house and absolutely loved it. Cannot wait!!! Finish FF15 or is it FF13-2-something or whatever already!!!

My favorite game from E3 would have to be MGS5. Most because i’m a (I hate this word) fanboy but also because it’s ing MGS. I been a fan since MGS and I still haven’t gotten a chance to play the Metal Gear games, soon though. Also Kojima is a genius.

My favorite game shown at E3 was the new Super Smash Bros.

HD graphics, getting assistance from a fighting savvy developer such as Namco Bandai (So you know the game is going to have some level of balance), and MEGA MAN!? Not even Capcom themselves have shown Mega Man in a good while! I can’t wait to see all of the new characters and features they add! I’ve watched the trailer at least twice a day, favorite game by far!

The Division – It looks like BF/COD/Rainbow6 and Borderlands made sweet sweet love and produced this game. Graphically it looks very realistic and looks like if you can find a crew, that you can really run free and be more part of the game.

Watchdogs looks b.e.a…utiful. It’s going to be great to play a game that you can control every part of the environment. A close 2nd is Dark Souls 2, can’t wait to see if it takes James 501 deaths to beat it. Love the channel guys keep up the good work.

My favorite game at this years E3 was definitely Battlefield 4. Frostbite 3, true destruction, even sharper sound than bf3 and of course next gen graphics. Battlefield 3 is my favorite game to date and they have stepped everything up.

My most Favorite and anticipated game from E3 Titanfall. What more to say FPS with Giant mechs

Blake Miller

On June 27, 2013 at 12:26 pm

I am most excited about Call of Duty: Ghosts, I can’t wait to experience the new and improved engine. The reason why I am most excited about CoD Ghosts is because they really expanded the game to a new level.

Brandon

On June 27, 2013 at 12:27 pm

At E3, my favorite game that was debued was TItanfall. The fast gameplay with futuristic looking weapons, the fricken mechs, the wall running, and the awesome visuals make this game my favorite. It brings a whole new type of gameplay with mechs and groud units and it looks balanced so people wont rage about the mechs being a problem because they are too strong. The animations to get into and out of the mechs are stunning. Finally, I like the idea of multiplayer and singleplayer joined together. I can’t wait to see more gameplay and information on this beast of a game.:)!!!!

On June 27, 2013 at 12:40 pm

My absolute favorite game at E3 was Kingdom Hearts 3.

For those who have been playing since the first years ago realize how anticipated this part is. It’ll finally wrap up an amazing story, Plus being on next gen; the graphic boost will be great too see. Along with no doubt, the improvements to gameplay. The most enchanting part of KH3 will be all the new worlds and familiar characters that we grew up with.

Titanfall, can’t wait for that game man!!

On June 27, 2013 at 12:51 pm

My favorite…thats a tough one! I’m going to have to go with….THIEF 4 (sorry dark souls)!

I loved the first thief games and love the style of gameplay that thief try’s to provide for the player. I’ve always been into stealth based games and think that there should be more ones like thief! I’m very confident this game will do AMAZING. This is going to be the very first game I buy…(and then dark souls 2 of course)!

Phoenix

On June 27, 2013 at 12:53 pm

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for sure.

The story is absolutely immersive and brilliant. The combat is unique, smooth and flowing. The enemies have so many various types, thus the game never gets stale.

The world is sure to be expansive and feel open. The Witcher 2 is currently itself gorgeous; meaning on the new generation, it will look even better.

Lastly the game has amazing characters and does a great job of making you feel while giving you choices that really matter and drastically change the game.

That’s why The Witcher 3 is my favorite game at E3.

Even though it was a VERY short trailer, I would have to go for “Deep Down”

It looked like everything I wanted Skyrim to be, published by Capcom who gave me “Dragons Dogma” which I absolutely loved.

I will be following everything about this game to release.

Most anticipated for me and I’m sure this goes along with the Gamefront crew would have to be Dark Souls II. Second would have to be Destiny! Dark Souls and Demon’s Souls were both games that I immediately needed to put on my top list of games that I’ve ever played and Dark Souls II will without a doubt be up on that list as a contender as well. Destiny would have to run in second place mainly because I like the style of game it has with a mixture of Borderlands and Halo it should be an awesome experience to share with my friends!

Final Fantasy XV

After almost losing hope for Final Fantasy Versus XIII over the passing years, I had some hope Square-Enix would show off a little bit of the game at E3 to get us Final Fantasy fans back into the mix and they did more than that, not only did they bring FFXIII Versus back, they renamed it FFXV and showed us a gorgeous, longer than usual trailer with gameplay footage and it was amazing. I’m a happy guy and I would think that there are many more like me.

Good job Square-Enix!

The Witcher 3

The game looks gorgeous, and CDPR is saying all the right things about continuing with free DLC, no DRM and the game is absolutely massive both in terms of area and content. I’m looking forward to seeing how Geralt’s story concludes, and it seems like if anyone can figure out how to make a huge, open-world RPG with a compelling story, it’s CDPR.

My favorite game of E3 had to be The Division from Ubisoft. It’s open world encompassing New York and Manhattan, along with the mix of single and multiplayer elements really gave me a feeling of a next generation experience.

Alex

On June 27, 2013 at 1:36 pm

My favorite game at E3 has got to be Dead Rising 3.
why because i feel like it will be the first zombie game to were there numbers are over powering and you cant just go running straight thou them like the last two games.

Why? Well because that game is the definition of EPIC.

Mike

On June 27, 2013 at 1:55 pm

I’d have to go with the PS4 launch(?) title The Order: 1886 as my favorite. I’m a sucker for the time period and some of the vibes of the trailer at least to me seems like some aspects of survivor horrors games could be used in the game. I just hope the game is open world and isn’t linear because a game set in that time period in an alternate universe could lead to some cool hidden spots and secrets.

Graeme Fortlafge

On June 27, 2013 at 1:59 pm

My favorite game from E3 this year would have to be split between Watchdogs and Battlefield 4. Watchdogs first caught my eye at E3 2012 and this year completely blew me away with how fluid it was game-play wise. How it seamlessly shifted stealth game-play to combat was stunning. Battlefield 4 is tied
with Watchdogs as I have had so many great memories and moments with my friends while playing Battlefield 3 that I can’t wait to see what we will get up to while playing Battlefield 4. I am also excited about the fact that squad size has been increased so that we will no longer have to have 2 squads and use some type of chat program to communicate, as well as the integration of all the tablets into the next gen games makes me very hopeful for the future of gaming.

Adam

On June 27, 2013 at 1:59 pm

Definitely Watch Dogs.
Keep up the great work Gamefront! It’s my #1 site for video game news and of course hilarious walkthoughs.

Michael Wilson

On June 27, 2013 at 2:01 pm

Hey guys,

My favourite game was probably The Witcher 3, because i really love rpg’s and the open world format is in my opinion a great way to go. The whole mercenary killing huge monsters against the odds and the way the combat is supposedly going to use some tactics really floats my boat.

Hope you would send out to the UK, if not then there is my opinion anyway.

Renoloz

On June 27, 2013 at 2:06 pm

Favorite game from E3? Dark Souls 2, of course! I’ve been a long time fan of The Souls series (I pre-ordered Demon’s Souls) and just can’t wait for the next installment. Honestly, after playing Dark Souls, I just couldn’t enjoy any other game as much, so I’ve been patiently waiting for Dark Souls 2′s release.

Jesse

On June 27, 2013 at 2:13 pm

I was looking for something new out of the shooter genre and E3 definitely delivered as far as that goes. It’s hard to pick between Destiny and Titanfall, but I think I’m going to go with Destiny as my favourite this year. I’ll probably have to end up picking up both though. haha.

Boy, torn between two games. The new Thief and the Witcher3. Going to have to go with Witcher3 though. The size and scope of the game are amazing, the graphics look so sweet and who can’t help but love the company. Both are must get games for me, but the witcher3 eeks out the win.

My favorite game from E3 this year is Watch Dogs. With action-stealth games becoming more popular (and fun) this one looks like it’ll top them all. Plus it’s multiplatform so everyone can enjoy it. It looks super sleek and seems to have a good story line. Ubisoft ‘s previous games didn’t disappoint and I’m convinced this one won’t either. I’ll definitely be one of the first to buy :)

Chris Jones

On June 27, 2013 at 4:13 pm

Halo. I’ve followed the Halo franchise since the release. I’ve understood the story behind it through both the books and the gameplay and what they’ve done with the character development with master chief was amazing. You’ll see that Master Chief isn’t all armor, but is also human. The fact that they’ve provoked chief to respond to Cortana at the end. This won’t just answer the question, but show you chief’s response.

I have to say either Kingdom Hearts 3 or Final Fantasy XV

ZephyrTuvai

On June 27, 2013 at 4:33 pm

Hands down The Division.

Third person cover/tactical shooter based around multiplayer, with rpg elements? Already have 5 friends who are down. Unfortunately… I don’t believe the game supports six player, maybe we’ll randomly meet up in world as two different teams and have a 3v3.

Michael Lane

On June 27, 2013 at 4:40 pm

Kingdom Hearts 3

Because I’ve been waiting for it forever the story is great and i’ve been wanting to seen closure or a final part to the series.

Carolyn

On June 27, 2013 at 4:41 pm

It has to be Dark Souls II – I loved playing Demon Souls and Dark Souls, and I can’t wait to explore the new environments and fight the new enemies in Dark Souls II. I also hope it is more challenging than Dark Souls and that new elements don’t take away from the already established look and feel of the past games…. And I can’t wait to watch James/Mitch play through Dark Souls II !

There were a lot of other games showcased at E3 (like MGS5) that caught my eye, but I reserve judgement on the games until I watch some gameplay and learn more about them.

Robert

On June 27, 2013 at 4:43 pm

Gotta be “The Order: 1886″

You never hear too much about this game, but I think It looks fantastic.
Does anybody else think that there is a huge resemblance between the first trailer of the order, and the original Dishonored trailer? The settings in the trailer look exactly the same, the Neo-Victorian setting, and the strange technology that is used is really similar looking.

Titanfall gets a close second, really looking forward to it, may get an Xbox one because of it!

Kyle

On June 27, 2013 at 4:50 pm

Kingdom Hearts 3

The reason is because they have made new ones for mobile devices but it has bin so long since one of my all time favorit console games has goten a sequel and finely the time has come :D

Tahmid

On June 27, 2013 at 6:48 pm

From what I’ve seen, Mario Kart 8 was the best game of E3. Everyone can have their Gran Turismo vs Forza battle, but Mario Kart 8′s graphics look as good in my opinion and give me that nostalgia and arcade style racing any day.

Jason

Oh my god, why do you have to make this so hard!!

I’m really stuck between 3 games really. Battlefield 4, Watch_Dogs and The Division. Battlefield 4 quite literally looks insane. From what I can tell thus far, it has literally almost everything I wanted in Battlefield 3, with all the good bits from 3 and more. More destruction, I mean come on, a falling BUILDING. Bigger squads, and Commander mode again, Finally!

Then there is Watch_Dogs, which, IMO, will be game of the year this year, even if just on the new generation of Consoles. The story looks compelling, very Person of Interest esque with the computer always watching. It has interesting looking game dynamics with the ability to control anything connected. The possibilities are endless.

And finally The Division. Just.. Oh my god. I’m a huge Clancy fan to begin with, so I can say that it is true when Clancy always bases his stories on reality. Something that can really happen. The ability to live play out on of those stories, one of those scenarios, is just soo cool. And the integration of the Single player into the multiplayer element of having that little squad of friends is cool. I love to play games with my friends, and the way they have it stated to work out, if it works correctly, IMO will revolutionize Co-Op play for a story based Multiplayer experience. (well maybe second after Destiny with Bungie, but we will just have to see how that plays out.)

God, just so hard to choose.

I would have to say my favorite game at E3 would of had to have been Star Wars Battlefront. Talk about an unexpected treat to really the only good Star Wars games there were. I would say my pick for E3 (2013) would be Mirror’s Edge reboot, Why?
Well because the first one from (2008) had a good feel to it, the style was unique, and it was truly different from other games out there at that time.
Mirror’s Edge also inspired me to start to train in Parkour, I train when I can and love it!

My favorite game at E3 was Saints Row 4.

The Saints Row series is always incredibly silly, hilarious and fun to play. It’s unique in that aspect. I love all the features they already debuted for it, such as the dubstep gun.

Not too mention since SR3 tightened up the gameplay tremendously, I’m excited to see how much better Saints Row 4 is.

I liked seeing Super Smash Bros. I can confidentially say that so far with all three of the games, I can find nothing about them I do not like, and it’s such a simple concept and easy to just pick up and play.

Less hyped at this moment, but I was questioning if i was actually seeing the screen correctly when Square showed Kingdom Hearts 3, but knowing them it’s probably 3 years from being released. So I’ll save that hype for now.

The Witcher 3 seems to be a true next gen experience. The graphics look great but I’m more excited that the game has a more in depth combat system than other games in the genre.

I’m a big Bayonetta fan too, but I don’t have a WiiU and won’t untli a price drop, new Zelda, and a new 3D Mario (not this BS multiplayer garbage that is 3D world) comes out.

When the first one came out, I played the out of it. I fell in love instantly. I just thought it was awesome like a final fantasy mix with Disney characters.

My favorite E3 debut would have to be the punishing Dark Souls II. Rarely are games challenging anymore, but as most already know, this series stays true to form with offering unrelenting gameplay that challenges like no other!
