GameFly Releases Public Beta for PC Gaming Client

GameFly is pushing its way into the PC digital download market, releasing the client for the service as a public beta.

It’s particularly good for GameFly members, packing an unlimited play feature that allows members to run several different games as much as they want, with the cost rolled into their monthly GameFly membership fees. It sounds a bit like OnLive (minus, perhaps, the streaming), with a few worthwhile titles mixed in that you can access for basically nothing if you’re already into GameFly.

The rest of the client is the massive database of games to sell the company acquired when it bought Direct2Drive, so you can purchase PC titles directly through the portal. As if you need another place to buy PC games — especially with a Steam holiday sale going on.

Anyway, hit this link to download the client.
