Doofus Longears™ or Doofus, as he is commonly known, is the main character and the protagonist of the game Get ‘em Gems. The game is a 3D platform game where the main goal of the player is to help Doofus collect all the gems in a particular level. In doing so the player must see to it that Doofus doesn’t fall off the platforms, nor should he be caught while collecting the gems. The gameplay is kept very simple and is very easy to pick up. However, it requires considerable skill and problem solving capacity on the part of the player to get through the levels. Each level exposes a different set of challenges and the player has to resort to innovative approaches to solve them.
