    ATTENTION EVERYONE!

    If you or someone else is about to upload an addon to the Doom moddb section that has anything to do with an existing mod (i.e you wanna add an addon for D4T), ADD YOUR ADDON TO THE MOD PAGE!

    Recently there's been an influx of Lasting Light and Brutal Doom addons NOT put into the respective pages so you don't find the actual addon in the respective mod pages! If you want to upload an addon to a mod, go to the mod page and click on the "add addon" button and NOT the main "addons" section of a game!! It keeps things organized and you can find your addon right at the page of the mod itself instead of fiddling around irrelevant pages!

    I wonder if there are anymore megawads that work only with the Ultimate DooM or DooM Exe. (via wad).

      ONLY with doom.exe? Not sure, but I don't think so. All megawads designed for vanilla Doom also work via source port. Megawads can be specific to source ports though.

      But if you mean Ultimate Doom or Doom megawads, search them over here if you want : Doomwiki.org

    Is a weapon skin wad supposed to go to mods or add ons? A cosmetic mod that changes the weapon models in first person, where is it supposed to go?

      Depends. For example, you can run music addons with any gameplay mod you want, so it's already an addon in on itself. Cosmetic mods could be mods if you can't run any other gameplay mod on top of it, like Smooth Doom. Cosmetic mods that merely change certain elements of the game (like textures, sounds and music) should be addons. Gameplay and code altering mods belong to the mod category to avoid conflict with each other, like trying to run Beautiful Doom with Doomzone, or trying to run Hideous Destructor with Brutal Doom.

      Weapon skin mods should be in the add-on section while weapon mods that change gameplay should be in the mods section.
