The story is set in the background of the world of 1970s as it would be without the Second World War, in a Disco-totalitarian state called Centrope. Tyler Kilmore, an expelled US journalist, came back to Centrope after five long years to reunite with his fiancée that he had to leave behind, only to be arrested for her murder. Tyler literally goes all the way to Hell to get her, and unravels a primeval mystery that will rewrite the history of mankind from scratch.
