So I now learn that there's no boxed copy in the UK... what the Hell?! I'd love to see how console gamers would react to it being download only... ffs.

you do realize that even if you get the disk copy you still need to INSTALL IT onto your pc which is going to put it on there the same exact way right

I want to request changing the name of this game to Call of Metro: Last Light.

I want to thank the dev team for turning a passionate and emotional game experience into a generic first person shooter, now I can go on and go play cod blackops instead since this one runs like crap and I would essentially being playing the same sh!t.

I think you're playing the wrong game here. This doesn't sound like METRO at all.

I mean have you played it, played both actually, the difference is pretty obvious, I am perfectly ok with action games, just not when they rip the mainstream action theme like call of tities. There is a lot of stuff I can mention one of them being the fact that I was 15 minutes in and I already had 120 bullets in my ak, that and I liked how in the misery and poverty of the metro, priority was to install holographic sights in the weapons.

Okay perhaps I judged too hastily, I just got through the game and even though I am disappointed for the game's emphasis in Hollywoodish gameplay, I do indeed admit the storyline is quite epic and memorable.

But I have become hardened and indifferent to the word "epic", maybe because I have seen it too much and I became saturated, maybe because I saw how much milking the game industry is doing with some titles, which is something that deeply bothers me when regarding games as an artform. But I feel as if most games in and out of the FPS genre are "generalizing" themselves by copying elements from mainstream FPS titles, and thats something that In my opinion, should not be done, some people just don't like it, and while the result is a wider player audience, the soul of the game industry is killed little by little.

        So that's my little confession.

Try playing on ranger hard or ranger, the game is much more deadlier but fun at the same time. Only a few bullets to kill and be killed but the ammo is more scarce.

Damn. i hate hollywoodish games. I prefer natural (and punishing) surviving experience than corny, excessive and unnatural action crap (like the latest tomb raider. It was ****.) Is it worth buying? I was very enthusiastic waiting for this one.

I was also, because I loved the desperate and mysterious atmosphere of the first, which this one totally missed out.

But I would buy it, because it is still a good game, and the story is good.
