Prince of Persia

The game is set in ancient Persia, although the exact century is not revealed. In the game, the player assumes the role of the Prince, whose name is not revealed in the game. The Prince is accompanied by a woman named Elika, whom he met after a large sandstorm diverted him from his course and he ended up in a mysterious land. Players traverse many different environments using the Prince's acrobatic abilities to scale walls and even crawl on the ceilings. Throughout the journey, players combat various enemies as they attempt to cleanse the land of corruption. The game's storyline and setting borrow heavily from Zoroastrianism. It is also considered a "reboot" for the Prince of Persia franchise, and has a separate storyline from the "Sands of Time" trilogy of the previous generation, along with a new cel-shaded art style unlike previous games in the series.

Although not one the most liked among the series, but I would have at least loved to see a conclusion to this. I mean the Epilogue DLC just made more questions than the games original ending.

okay, this game is incredibly fun and I like the story, but I am very mad at Ubisoft for not allowing us (modders) to take advantage of Scimitar/Anvil software (Level Editor for AC:R, PLEASE!?!??). The combat is only fun when your fighting bosses, anywhere else it feels bland. Puzzles are fine by me but some gamers may want more challenge.

    6. the story is "sands of time" all over again, but instead of the magical sand that corrupts nature now we have magical black ooze that corrupts nature (just brilliant XD)

I <3 Prince of persia original trilogy :(
this cartoon sucks, for next reasons:

    1. No fear of duying (just stupid)

    2. No challenge (only 1 on 1 battles with idiot opponents)

    3. Prince is REALLY annoying american teenager

    4. it's a CARTOON! O.o Once beautifoul and standard graphics of the previous prince has become an overexagurated hentai with flashing rainbow of light effects... disgusting

    5. It sometimes defies gravity and reality, and the original prince of persia is all about reaistic acrobatics...

Your an idiot, the art style is one of the best things about this game. It's a bit easy, but that's because it's meant to be experienced instead of played like the other Prince games. This is probably one of the most beautiful art styles I've ever seen in a video game. The combat had a great foundation, but if it had been improved about would've been better. So, yea, I actually loved this series reboot.

        I agree with you.
I love the Sands of Time trilogy, but this was a difrent direction, a pleasent experience. But it does get boring as a game.
What I want to see is Ubisoft calm down with assassins creed, make them less and better, and ******* come back with prince of persia with what their learned in assassins! That would be awesome.

other stupid thing executor said was point 5. game defies reality... so? sands of time (yes, not original!) trilogy is not about realistic acrobatics xD they're beliavble, not realistic.
