The year is 190CE. China is in turmoil. The Han Dynasty crumbles before the child-emperor. He is but a figurehead; a mere puppet for the tyrant warlord Dong Zhuo. It is a brutal and oppressive regime, and as Dong Zhuo’s power grows, the empire slips further into the cauldron of anarchy. But hope yet blossoms.

I hope it's historical, though hero units are always op in every game.

Edit: I don't blame them. I've always liked the fantasy Dynasty Warrior-like action in my martial arts movies, just let me disable it in-game. Do not want.

What do you mean "Back"? They've been working on this since the last historical title, or did you not know they have seperate teams for Warhammer, Hirstorical, and DLC?

I knew about them having separate teams. I just wasn't a fan of the two Warhammer entries or the Rome 2 based entries. Eh, I guess I should've said," Yes! Finally a historical game I'm actually interested in! The fantasy in Warhammer was too off putting for me; but to their credit both of the Warhammer entries looked amazing."

Yeah that would've been a better way to word it, Rome 2 was meh and Attila was great but it's DLC was mediocre for the most part. And the Warhammer entries are far too simple, but I still enjoy them.

By the way, them having separate teams is an overstatement. Those teams are dedicated only for a specified period of time.

Reusing assets, shuffling arists around, moving the core engineer team to update, fix and polish the engine codebase of one game then another does not count as having separate teams either.

Oh, they do have separate teams, but almost never for longer periods of time. (And it's sometimes like Assassin's Creed Unity, engine programmers work on it for 2 years, and one full team only for 1 year. So it had not been developed for three years, at least not in a fully dedicated way.) CA would have to own up to it themselves, though, how long their full teams work on their games, and how long their other "migratory" teams do...

Just going off what they said, I have no reason to believe otherwise.
