Gamescom 2011: Battlefield 3 Will Have Co-op Missions

Straight from EA’s press conference at Gamescom, we’ve just heard a big announcement. Battlefield 3 will include cooperative missions. Yeah, that’s right. You’ll be able to team up with a buddy to run through missions.

In the demo we saw, the players went into a building to grab a High Value Target and return him to waiting Humvees outside. Once they got him inside, they had to escort the vehicles to safety. You can imagine how that turned out. Several explosions (and a lot of gunfire) later, the demo ended, but not before we were totally stoked by the idea of playing co-op BF3 with our buddies.

We’ll have more info and details on co-op as it becomes available.

With out Nazi Zombies I’m afraid it won’t be the success the competition is. Limited replay value.

Every time I fire up a public COD CO-OP, all ever heard was “ZOMG!Zombies, can we play Zombies next please?” when I tried to play the CO-OP campaigns.
